iShayera @Sora: WHAAATTTT? A kid was trying to be like Gaara and he suffocated in his sandbox? Why is this the first I’m hearing about this? Please tell me that you’re kidding. Yeah, I know Zane’s not going to kill her or anything, but still. It’s like having a child taken away from you to have a title stripped away like that. I was also considering making Soun (my new RPC) a Kyuuketsuki, but I really really want to learn Gentle Fist. There's even a bloodline that does Gentle Fist in an altered version (with Lightning) and I considered that, but it's not the same... @Greg: Oh. I didn't know that. But, for the sake of asking, how does one unlock their bloodline? The kid put his head in a foot deep hole in a sand box and died...

The news casters make me want to strangle them because they're literally blaming the cartoon and calling it disturbing and saying that it was all Naruto's fault that the kid died. If the parents had half a brain, they wouldn't have let their kid even watch it if it is so called "disturbing". And they pronounce a lot of things wrong... which almost makes me want to strangle them. ((EDIT: Watch this... it's the news cast. And they said that he's in critical condition, but he's dead. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54yhc3zE3Ng )) But Soun is welcome to be a Kyuuketsuki... Remember, no demons and be very careful when trying to catch flying objects. That's all. If you ever need help with your application, just let me know and I'll gladly help you out. And no offense, but Gentle Fist sucks... but then again, I'm a die-hard Kyuuketsuki princess.

Orchid Moon how are you finding out about this now? >.< that happened over like 2 years ago I only saw it on Youtube and laughed. But I also live in Hawai'i, so we could care less about anything that's happening on the mainland. And we would have laughed at that kid for trying to imitate Gaara and dying... cuz we're all pretty much addicted to anime yet none of us have died yet.

I don't watch the news. And where I live, people who publicly announce their enjoyment of anime are outcasted and treated like freaks. Plus, I stopped watching Naruto for a long time and I really just got back into it when I joined POTS.
I HATE PEOPLE THAT HAVE NO FRIGGING COMMON SENSE! Jeez. I am so glad my brothers don’t watch Naruto anymore. That’s something my youngest brother would do… Don’t let your kid stick his head in a hole. Point-blank.
@Greg: It’s not that I’m bored with her. I just hate her. And the one I’ve been making is actually one that I use in another guild and I like her much more than I like Shayera.

"These so called Sand Ninjas" That made me laugh, yet groan. The guy made it sound like Naruto was all about killing people with sand. OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO WATCH SOME ANIME!

@ Hinote: That's why they took Naruto off of Toonami. Or however you spell it... I think that's how. CARTOON NETWORK! There we go! There's another clip from the same news channel where they're using another youtube video of some kids acting out a sand storm and the news caster said "They are imitating a sand storm, just like in the anime." They don't ever mention a sand storm in Naruto until Shippuden, and that wasn't even out yet. Newscasters need to watch some anime...
@ Orchid: Funny thing... I actually have my own death note. But that one was hilarious compared to the sandbox one cuz a lot of parents were all freaking out about it even though the entire thing was fake.

@Orchid: I just laughed so hard I cried. What is wrong with people?! That kid should have more common sense than to title the book “Death Note,” regardless of what it is. And honestly, it’s a cartoon. Calm down, newscaster-guy.

Guys, stop posting about children's deaths/anime related death cases. Even if we understand anime isnt real, and those people were not thinking, this is death were talking about, an extremely serious subject, and not one to be duscussed in the way its been discussed in this thread.
