Meanwhile, a woman was walking down the street towards the small group. Her attention was fully engulfed onto her tablet, and she was only half watching where she was going. Her dark eyes were completely fixated on the screen, and her fingers were carefully sliding over the side of it. As though she were scrolling down through a long page of information.
On the screen, were several security camera screen shots of various areas of New York City. All showing the now famous little chase that had happened last night. The Batmobile speeding down the street, chasing after an innocent looking Taxi car. Around all of the images, were little notes that Kiva had scribbled down. Everything and anything she could get on what might have happened that night.
She had only made it so far before she ran into the side of someone. She quickly looked up, her cheeks pink with slight embarrassment. "Sorry about that." she apologized, then quickly turned to keep on her way.

Location: Streets not far from the Sanctum
Status: On a bit of a personal mission.
As the woman bumped into him and quickly kept on her own way, Richard Blackstone turned to watch her leave. As he did so, one of the rings on his finger began shimmering. He glanced at it, then moved his other hand to cover the ring. He had found at least one person he had been looking for.
"Kiva Lexington?" he called out.
The woman partially stopped; spinning around on one foot to look back at him, and continued to take a few steps sideways to keep walking. "Yes?" she asked.
Blackstone gave her a small, friendly smile. "I am Richard Blackstone." he replied. "I was on my way to your station to have a word with you."
Kiva frowned a bit. "Oh, I'm sorry, but I'm in a bit of a hurry. If it's important I can schedual you in to-"
"I'm afraid it's very important." Blackstone replied. "It's about the report you and your affiliates in Gotham had covered about the... Batmobile you called it?"
Kiva stopped moving completely, now fully interested. "Oh. Do you have information about what had happened?" she asked.
"I'm afraid I don't know anything pertaining to the events, but I did recognize the woman involved. I... have not seen her for quite some time, and I am concerned for her safety. I was hoping to speak with you so that I may try and find her." he replied.
"A friend of yours?" Kiva asked.
"My wife." Blackstone replied.
THIS made Elmira stop in her tracks and turn to look back at Blackstone with wide eyes.
"Or Ex-Wife I suppose... she left me quite some time ago, and I have not seen her since. You can imagine my concern when I watched your report this morning." Blackstone continued. Not a complete lie... he WAS concerned for her safety... she had been his wife, he had cared for her, and he HADN'T seen her since then. He was leaving out of course WHY she had left him, and that he was also interested in finding her to learn more about the man Edel had told him about.
Kiva frowned, then opened her mouth to reply. Immediately she shut her mouth and winced. The side of her head stung for a moment, and she began hearing voices. She mentally cursed her mental powers... they'd work when she wanted them to, and do their own random thing when she didn't. She couldn't tell who's thoughts she was picking up... but they weren't happy. Some... old man it sounded like. Did NOT seem to like Mister Blackstone at all.
After a moment, Kiva opened her eyes and looked over to an alley behind Blackstone. There, standing half out of the alley, half leaning against the wall, was an old man in a long green robe and... what she could only compare as a "wizard" look. He was staring straight at Blackstone with a mix of fear and anger.
Blackstone noted the direction Kiva was staring, then calmly turned around to see what the trouble was. He had no idea who the man was... but from the look on his face... the man knew him.
