Tokeru stopped yelling and looked up, looked at the vampiress, no, looked at Edith, and smiled. "I'm sorry, I've been so stupid." he whispered.
Strength drained from his limbs, and he slumped over, awake, but without strength.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} When Tokeru stopped yelling, Eden felt tangible relief that he seemed to be somewhat relieved from the pain of his memories. She of all people knew that hurtful memories of a bitter past could hurt people a lot more than a knife or a gun and that the wounds never fully healed but scarred over, a constant reminder of what'd happened. There was no escaping one's memories or one's past, there was only temporary relief and some could handle it and some could not. "No no no," she corrected him softly, "you've been stupid but you don't need to be sorry for it. Just don't do it again. No matter what you become, no matter who you are, I'm always here for you and I'll always love you. Just don't pull that kind of s**t again, it kills me a lot more to see you so upset like that than to have someone plunging their hand through my ribs. I'd rather suffer that torture for an eternity than see you go through such pain again." When he slumped forward, she leaned back so that her back was against the wall and Tokeru's head was resting on her shoulder. She gave him a tender kiss and slowly raised one hand to run her fingers gently through his hair.

He had relived his entire life in a few seconds, and was in danger of falling unconscious again. He was holding on, waiting for his strength to return, and it was, slowly.
His mind was blank right now, unable to think of anything other than staying awake.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Meredith was quite aware that Tokeru had been through a lot and that he needed his rest in order to recover from his trauma and his fatigue but she remained silent at first. She hadn't even noticed that Tokeru had spoken to her with coherence the first time in almost six months, she was too relieved that her Angel was alright to even notice or register it. All she could do at the moment was squeeze him tightly to her and never let him go, rocking him back and forth gently as though he were the most precious thing in the world to her. He probably was, no, she knew that he was. Without him she'd still be lost and a mess, he'd helped her find direction in her life and for that she owed him more than her love. Her love was because she genuinely loved him not because she felt obligated to. Never would she feel obligated to love her Angel. He was simply perfect for her, nothing else could describe it and nothing else would describe it. He was going to be hers and hers only, she'd never give him up without a fight, ever. "Rest love," she whispered softly into his ear, "I'll be here when you wake up, you need to sleep."

Tokeru struggled, and kept staying conscious. He struggled to speak, and made out a few words. "Bring me, to Chapterhouse."
He stopped trying to speak, and just focused on staying awake.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} This was the second time that Tokeru had spoken in near coherence, though his pause inbetween the "bring me" and "to Chapterhouse" was enough to throw her off so that she once again did not realize that Tokeru was speaking coherently for the first time in almost a year. She didn't know why he would be wanting to return to the Chapterhouse but she knew that whether or not he wanted to, he couldn't. The Chapterhouse had been destroyed over a year ago and to her knowledge the building still had not been ressurected to what it had once been. She didn't know how she was going to tell her love this, well, actually she did. She was just going to be blunt and straight forward with him and tell him that the Chapterhouse had been destroyed a year ago and that there was no Chapterhouse to take him to. It was simple enough and it was easy to understand since it'd be one solid statement without any confusing or fancy words to distract him. "Angel, the Chapterhouse was destroyed over a year ago. Don't you remember?"

Tokeru shook his head slightly, almost passing out from the weakness.
"No, tunnels. Tunnels still together."
He struggled to stand up, bent on bringing himself there if Edith would not.

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Since Meredith had a firm hold on Tokeru and though she was still weak from her injections from Rogue, she was far less weak than Tokeru was at current, she was able to hold him down with her. "Why," she asked Tokeru, not understanding his reasoning and wanting to know his purpose, "are you wanting to go in the tunnels all of a sudden? You're tired, you can rest and we can go there later. This can wait." She didn't want her love to be overexerting himself and she certainly wasn't going to allow him to wander off on his own when he was clearly so weak. If he insisted upon going there then she'd likely bring him just to appease him so that he'd rest and recover but if it wasn't for any real reason then she wouldn't be very inclined to bring him there. "I don't get what you're expecting to find from these tunnels or see or whatever you're trying to do. Did you forget something there or something? Are you wanting to check up on something or what? I don't get the sudden obsession with these tunnels. You should rest before you go there." She was being firm with him and believed that the tunnels could most likely wait since they didn't seem to involve life or death in any way.

Tokeru struggled once again to stand up, but was held by Edith. "Please, bring me to the tunnels."
He slumped back down, completely spent, but still awake.

Through out this little talk James was left standing there, but when Tokeru was talking about going somewhere; he jumped to it."Um.... what is he talking about the tunnles?"

{[{ Meredith Emily Jackson }]} Meredith rolled her eyes and sighed in defeat at the prospect of the current situation. She wasn't willing to argue about this and he obviously must've had an important reason for returning to their old base otherwise he wouldn't be so insistent upon it. Eden decided to trust her Angel's judgement and picked him up in her arms, yet again carrying him with his legs dangling over the sides of his arms. He looked a bit like a typical person in distress and since he was completely exhausted perhaps he was in a slight bit of distress. As she was about to start going she remembered that James had been in the room with her and felt bad for completely ignoring and forgetting about him. "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot you were there. I just get so distracted lately. I'm so off focus. I need to get back out there and hunt something to bring back my focus. We need to find Krii and William as well but first things first." She paused for a moment, looking to Tokeru as if to receive approval from him to tell James what he was talking about but she decided she trusted the kid so she'd tell him. "The tunnels are about all that remains of the Shadow Stalker Chapterhouse. It was Tokeru's former base, he was the leader of the entire group. We're associated with the hunters but we normally are only at Haven when we're called there, we need medical aid or other stuff. Feel free to tag along if you're curious." With that she began heading off toward the garage to get a car to take them to the tunnels.

Mephlius was lead to a table in the infirmary. Before they got the anesthetics on him, he had just enough consciousness for a witty comment. "Hey... Dr. Gail. I'd say long time no see... b-" He coughed up, with some small amounts of blood. "-But I seem to see you... rather frequently..." He smiled, and closed his eyes, as he let the anesthetics carry him into sleep.

Twi sighed in relief.......OH MY GOD AMNITY!!! The hunter rushed back to Central Park, but not before ordering Gail to finishh surgery on Mephlius. Twi only prayed that Amnity would be okay.

Mephlius' dreams were only filled with one person. Amnity. However, unlike usual... these were not good dreams. Nor were they sweet memories of long nights on Credo... watching the moon reflect off the lake. There was only one thing running through his mind: All of the worst case scenarios of leaving Amnity there. Mephlius twitched, fought the anesthetics, jumped up, and sprinted off to Central Park. ... Or at least, that's what he wanted to do. In reality, the anesthetics were too strong. He was silent, and motionless.
