Alyxis leaned her cheek against his fingers, "My baby sister told Sandra where Devin was, and gave her my number. She demanded to speak to Devin, I could tell it was going to end badly so I tried to stop her. I can't put up with Sandra speaking for very long, though."
"Good! I don't want you, that dirty mutt or my sister anywhere near me!" Devin shouted.

Kaede ignored him and rushed back into the cafe. She sat back down with a huff and resumed eating her food. Her expression was a mixture of anger, sorrow, and frustration.

Tiberius watched her come in and sit down. He noticed frustration. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Pyne rubbed her shoulders more as he looked at Kaede. "I'm sorry." He said softly to her.

"It's not your fault don't apologize," Alyxis said gently, "And I'm not going to apologize to apologize to Devin for taking him somewhere he needed to go. He needed to learn control, and what he was."

"I'm fine..." She quietly replied to Tiberius. "When are we leaving here Alyxis? She asked as she continued eating.

Pyne nodded and looked at Alyxis. "What do you want to do about Devin?" He asked her.

"I'll deal with him after he's cooled off," Alyxis said, before pulling out a map and laying out. "The salt is where Merkia is and this is the path we've been taking," Alyxis put the salt on said spot, and pointed with her finger toward where they currently were, "We know that Winter is traveling with this weird person, and this is the general direction she's been traveling. Devin seems to have lost the scent, so after this we'll need to rely on tracking and asking questions. Today we need to gather that kind of information. I suggest we break into two groups, one magical person with one non-magical person. We break the town in half and meet up tonight at dinner to discuss what we've found. If we get anything useful we move on in the morning, if we get nothing, I'll have to go to the side of town I don't go to and make sure the right kinds of questions are asked."
She paused and looked at all three of them in turn, "Questions or differences of opinions?"

"Sounds like a solid plan to me. We should get started." Pyne said as he looked at Kaede and Tiberius.

Kaede nodded. "Me and Tiberius will take the northern half." She stands up and returns her dishes. She then drags Tiberius out of the cafe and up the street.
