NO, he first sw you after you talked to Gatomon...he tried to catch up to you, but you where gone..
Yah and then the park...he left irrationaly...and at the tower he was taken away

yah he was outside when you where exiting the building so yah...but he didn't catch up to you. you woul always be on a mission at the same time as he...
