*nibbles on brownies* They wont let me change my electives so that i have art 2 and pottery. i think i would have been better off dead....i think i might go on independent study...*whipes away tears* the worst part is, when we were getting my summer reading assignment book, i wanted to get an art book too, but my dad wouldn't let me, and he said that we'd get one later one this week, which translate into, we'll never get it, you should just give up on art...my dad doesn't care that i like to draw...he doesn't care that i want to go to an art college...he never even listens to me when i talk about it, and if we do talk about it, he always trys to bring up when i wanted to be a vet, and asks why i no longer want to do that...it jsut feels like to me he doesn't care about what makes me happy... crying oh..and i'm riding the cotton pony..

lpd; Why not? D: Does it conflict with any possible schedule or something? And your dad might just be coping... art college is expensive and can be really intimidating for parents especially if they have limited knowledge of them and what you can do with the degrees. Just be patient with him. My folks weren't fond of the idea either but we found the means to let me go and after the first year they were willing to do whatever it took to keep me there till I was done. ;3; that blows D: I feel ya soon enough
