Ali'anna sat alone in a dark alley, knees tucked under her chin. She stared ahead, out of the alley at the dim light it framed on either side, at the people rushing by. Their steps were hastened with fear; fear of something unknown and pertinent, something dangerous that threatened to appear at any time.
She smiled slightly, and her vibroblade hung loosely from limp fingers. It rocked back and forth like a pendulum, wriggling out of her grasp until she had to catch it and loosen her grip once more.
She was in a puddle of some liquid, which grew in size from blood dripping from her own body. For the first time in a long time it was her own blood, though the puddle was mixed with that of others.
Ali'anna continued to smile, holding tight onto her arm, which was pressed against her leg. Such injuries would serve to deter someone from wanton homicide, but only served to incite her urges.
She gasped and buried her face in her hands, rubbing at it, trying to get the blood off. Why do I have to kill? And why do I have to regret it...?
Tears did not come, so she stood, favoring her bleeding leg. She swayed, leaned against a wall of the alley, then breathed deeply and limped out. She was met with incredulous and fearful looks as she emerged into the quickening night. Holosigns blinked on, casting an eerie glow on her luminous skin.
Still she looked determined, eyes focusing straight ahead, concentrating on something visible only to her. As the street became more illuminated, people noticed and avoided her more. She breathed heavily as she continued, her gasps growing more belabored with each step. Finally she collapsed onto the street, sprawled out like a gundark about to be skinned.

((No problem))
Chidee grunted as he stumbled. Though he'd managed to pull back and soften the blows, Drako was still a muscular giant of a man. Ah...school of hard knocks. I know this well... "Understood, Master." he managed to gasp out as he caught his breath. Killing him would be counterproductive...assuming I will survive this lesson. he thought, as he shifted back into stance.

After floating through space for who knows how longs and scilence with barley a word to his robot crew.Untl finally the thought dawned to him one day.He slammed the table shouting."That's it!"The sudden comotion brought Oz into the room.Nicoli pointed at his droid companion."Set a course for Vargus!!"He stood, pointing at the droid.Who was about to respond on his error."Vergresso!Set a coruse for Vergresso!Or I'll have you casing as a new set of armor."Having orderd Oz to the cockpit he rounded on the old T3 unit."You!Go help Lucky there in the cockpit!"He shouted and rushed off to his room to check his things and look for any passes or keycards he might be able to use there if the need arose.

"Listen Rak, It'll be simple." Cale told the reptile walking beside him. "We go and find the biggest and toughest looking Barve around and get him to fight you. Then, I'll cash in on the betting as you pound him into a bloody mess." Rak nodded attentively, enjoying the idea of a good fight. "But, that won't get us 200k." He said as the thought crossed his mind. "I know I know. but it'll be a start. thats all we need." Cale grinned at his clever little plan. "Its a sure thing. You'd have to be the only proffesional shockboxer on this rock, that means you're by far the best brawler as well. We can't loose." The two paused as they noticed a body lying in the street. Cale frowned. "I tell you, you'd think they'd learn to keep this place clean after..." His frown of contempt became one of worry. "Blue?! what the hell?!" the two pirates rushed to her side and Cale checked her vitals. "She's alive, but she lost a lot of blood." he muttered. "Rak, pick her up, we need to get her to a doctor."

Ali'anna moaned slightly upon hearing familar voices, but otherwise did not stir. Her fingertips were still attatched to her vibroblade and blaster, which lay just within reach beside her on the street.

The Barabel gingerly picked the Twilek up and Cale motioned for him to follow. Soon the two reached a a small medical facility staffed by a 21B droid. "Hey doc, we got a situation." Cale told him. "This Twilek has several vibrobalde cuts and has lost a lot of blood." "Hmm. I see. Lost a knife fight?" "Hell I dunno. save the medical inquiries until we can get her stabilized." "Do you have money?" The droid asked. Cale gritted his teeth in annoyance. "Yes. I have money." "Good. set her on the table and I will tend to the wounds."

The 2-1B attended to her dutifully, applying bacta and bandaging her wounds while administering a blood substitue created based on her DNA.
Soon her eyelids opened tiredly and she sat up, only to groan and fall back down again. She sat more slowly and gazed around herself. "What happened?"

Cale glanced up from the enclove in the small block building that served as the "waiting room." "You passed out from blood loss in a street. Rak and I found you and dragged you into this med room. Care to tell me why you were passed out in a pool of your own blood?"

"Others too," she added quietly and stood to her feet, recovering quickly from the mix of nausea, pain, and dizzyness. "I don't know, I... I lost control again. I don't even remember what happened." She felt vulnerable now, shivering. She had nearly died; that was not an event that happened often. She made her way to Cale and buried her face in his chest, which looked almost comical as she had to stoop to do so. "Hold me," she asked softly.

Cale looked around a bit confused and did as he was told, hugging the woman close. He shot a puzzled look to Rak who only blinked and shrugged. "There, there." Cale said in a helpful tone. "You're still alive at least..."

She nodded despondantly, though it was clear she didn't believe it. "Perhaps... my body is here, still a live. But I died long ago, as a child." She took in her surroundings once more and sighed, drawing away, composing herself. "I'm sorry, Cale. Can we...can we leave now?"

"What? Back to the ship?" Cale asked. "Because I can't leave Vergresso until I get Rak here into a fight to the death."

She shivered again at the last word. "Why...why would he do that?" Her voice was getting stronger, though her eyes grew fainter. She gripped a nearby tables and squeezed its ledge tightly, struggling to stay standing.

"Um because we're broke, and Rak is a proffesional shockboxer. So the way I figure it is that we get Rak in into a brawl with the biggest thug on Vergresso, and we make a killing in the betting pool when Rak punches the guy's head into his torso." Cale frowned as the woman gripped the table unsteadily. "Um, you ok Blue?"

She nodded. "If you needed money, why didn't you just ask me? I've saved up from all my bounties... never had a reason to spend it on much... I just need to get to a currency and exchange center." She bit her lip now and faded into a sickly pale green color.
