Aye, Gion agreed with Daemon. She's very much a people person. She would do well in society. When she's old enough, or skilled enough, I think I'll take her to the city. I know Grandmother would love to see her, as Seeker would love to see her as well, though I do want to teach her more first.

Seeker grinned at Lore. "I think it's good to know what I'm going to do when I grow up, because it means I can start training for it right away. A lot of people just sort of do nothing because they don't know what they want to do. Like Halmid, he's just a bit older than me, he does a little bit of everything here on the plantation because he doesn't know what he wants to do when he grows up, he doesn't know if he wants to be like his papa, but I think it's a good idea to know."

She stopped and took a bit of a breath, grinning impishly.

Lore chuckled at that, and she was very much the chatter box. It was quite a pity the travelling distance and the age of the children had prevented them from coming. He suspected that Seeker and the other children would get along very well.

"Well... sometimes," he murmured thoughtfully, "There is that thing, that they want to do that's out there, but they haven't found it yet. There is still time yet."

There is always more to teach her, besides, she's still your little girl.

Daemon chuckled a bit more, because he meant that in the way that a parent never forgot that their children were their children even as they were growing up. One could almost imagine Daemon grinning at the moment if he could.

You know, it's so much more fun to talk to you when I can see you, Gion chuckled inwardly, though he was also laughing at his daughter. But yes ... no matter what she does or where she goes, she'll always be my little girl.

He felt a bond with his daughter that was different from that of the bond with his son. She was adventurous, like he was, while Galdor was more like Nadya: quiet, reserved, and more than willing to stay settled in one place.

Seeker paused for a moment to think about that. "Well ... I guess he really does have all the time in the world," she concluded finally. "After all he's just as elvish as the rest of us, so he's just as immortal. He could theoretically take more than a thousand years to decide if he wanted to!"

Once she had finished her intelligent rant, she giggled and added, "But he would get bored if he waited that long."

"Not unless he tried everything, there is a lot to do if you tried to do everything," Lore pointed out.

Not that he had ever tried to do eveyrthing, but he had dabbled in quite a number of things in the past when he finally just settled down to do research and translations.

Daemon looked through Gion's eyes, though his vision was limited to Gion's sight. He focused in on the seat that Elnara had vacanted and imagined himself sitting there. Or rather, showed an image to Gion of himself sitting there.

This sort of image imprint was something simple, it would be like showing Gion something from his own memory really. It worked, except he seemed to be seeing a sort of odd double vision. The type where he could swear he was seeing Gion even though he was suppose to be seeing himself.

Seeker was about to reply to Lore when the apparition appeared. She, Nadya, Gion and Laer all stared, startled by the man'e sudden appearance.

For several moments, no one said a word; then, slowly, Gion lifted his hands and signed, Daemon?

Lore blinked, as he noticed that everything that stopped, turning his head slowly he saw this man, who didn't seem quite there. Especially since he could see right through the him! The first thing that came into Lore's mind was a spirit.

Though the man seemed familiar for some reason, it was his clothes. It resembled more closely to the some people in Gaia... and was that man wearing a pocket watch?

"Uhm...."

A voice that was that of a man, slightly deep without being overly so, but the voice sounded so distance. Even though people could hear him clearly, it was like he was talking for somewhere further away.

"I didn't mean to do that."

"Daemon?" Nadya blinked slowly. "How ... did you do that?"

Seeker looked up at Nadya, then across the table at Daemon. "Neat! Now I can see you, too!" she grinned. She reached her hand across the table. "Touch me!" she giggled. "I want to see if I can feel you or if you're phasey!"

"What.... just happened?"

Lore blinked trying to catch up, he knew the others knew who this person was. Daemon... a very ordinarly sounding name, not that he was one to be a judge of that to be honest.

"I... was just going to show... Gion an image of myself in that.. or this chair, we were kind of urm... talking," Daemon replied sheepishly.

He scratched the back of his head nervously trying to not look embarassed, while he could that just fine. After all he wasn't going through the chair, however as he reached out to Seeker, it only would work if he was the one doing the touching and even then it was like air. Otherwise he was like a ghost.

Gion unsheathed the sword that was strapped on his back and set it on the table, hilt towards Lore.

The last time Elnara was here, he signed, looking evenly at the elf, I found this sword in the ruins of the Old City. Apparently Daemon here trapped his soul within the sword in Gaia about three hundred years ago and somehow got transported here. Since then we've been working together to make me stronger so that he can use my strength - magical strength, not physical - to help him escape the sword and return home.

Seeker felt goosebumps crawling up her arm and she giggled a bit. "That feels funny," she told Daemon. "Kind of cold ... do you feel it?"

Lore would have thought it unbelievable if it weren't for Daemon sitting there... more or less. Not to mention he of all people should know how things tended to be possible in Gaia, so this shouldn't have surprised him at the very least.

The librarian stared at the swore, studying the hilt, it was an unusual hilt. Very feminine in a way, though there was something about that sword. Even though he couldn't put his finger on it.

"How odd...." he paused, "Though I shouldn't be saying that... it's not odd perse.. just the chances of something like that happening is..."

Beyond any calcuation, it must have been either a great feat of magic, or a really big freak accident.

Daemon tittled his head a bit, watching as she touched him. Watching as what his hand did, it felt weird, but he didn't feel cold.

"Well.. I feel something I think, but I don't feel cold."

What a curious thing, perhaps he was a spirit after all, for all he knew if he was 'cold'. There was a scary thought, maybe he was just a spirit waiting to pass on. Even though he knew he hadn't died, so he was probably alive, it was just after so many years the idea he was alive it wa a bit odd when one was trapped in a sword.
