-gaspies- >.> I posted there a long time ago... Long time being 3-4 days. XD Sky high is okay. Not exceptional, but interesting. The special effects are wonderful. The ending...not so much. -.- Technically Ravenclaw doesn't need any more greetings. We're about 50 greetings ahead of the 2nd-most house... Either Slytherin or Hufflepuff, I forget. >.> It's all thanks to Cerbera Dragon ^ ^

You guys totally lost me XD The book series The Spiderwick Chronicles weren't that great... Well, I suppose they were interesting, but The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was better (bookwise) and the movie wasn't that amazing. Just me, though. =P Fwee! The Great Hall is being resuscitated. <-I think that's the right word

If anyone has any ideas for a pairing that they don't have the hearts for, PM me TONIGHT because it's ending and I'll post it with a credit to you! (and share the prize with you if that post wins. =3)

DANG IT DANG IT DANG IT! As far as the Kissing thread, we're losing to Slytherin. We reaped 20 points on Gilderoy's Valentines Delivery (at least 20 points). We have UP to 35 points available on the tek-tek. I think we're going to win at least 15 though. But we're trailing Slytherin by like at least 3 people for the Kissing thread. So that's a difference of 15 points. Also, on the Haven Valentine Directory, Slytherin and Ravenclaw both have 4 people, creating a split (excluding LHH). So we have to share those 10 points. And also, not to mention Tahiru will probably get some points especially for her Quidditch thread and Serenity Silvia Malfoy will probably earn some points along the way, too. We're losing to Slytherin right now by 5 points, but we got 10 points from the Quidditch "most applications"
My prediction?
Ravenclaw now: 145 Slytherin now: 150
Ravenclaw in the future: 215-230 Slytherin in the future: 200-240 (220 is if they win all the other stuff like the Fanfic contest, Tek-tek, etc.) Predictions will be drastically wrong
>.< It should be more decisive. I don't like hanging neck-to-neck.
Simply saying, SOMEBODY GO POST ON THE HAVEN VALENTINE DIRECTORY http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=11885849#143721360
Or go to the Kissing thread! http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/valentines-2008-event-forum/harry-potter-kissing-booth/t.37792599_1/
EDIT: Paraphernalia is MY HERO! She posted at 11:56 giving us the last minute lead on the Valentine Directory! =D cheese_whine

Glad that I could be of help. I haven't looked at the valentine events since valentines day so I never realized about the other events. I had a blonde moment...anyways its Friday! It's raining here! razz I'm happy because my friend is driving to school tomorrow instead of me! I don't know if I mentioned it but since I'm Catholic, I gave up manga/anime for lent..and its torture! Although, its making me focus on reading actual books, instead of manga and such. But still! 30 more days to go until Easter..then I will be able to watch my anime and read my books.

The problem is the Gaia Valentine's Event already ended, so we can't post on that thread, I've tried. I thought I'd posted but I went through the whole thread and couldn't find my post, so when i tried to repost, I couldn't. It's too bad I checked too late, I wish I'd gotten those points.

We can all just be really awesome for the rest of the term and earn house points that way! =3
Oh, by the way, aren't these brackets spectacular? I had no idea the person who made them could or would do this much. *huggles them* I ordered them specially for posts in the guild.
EDIT:
Here's some awesome news! The banner winners were announced, and Ravvies won 4 of the 6 categories, so we got another 40 points, while 10 went to Slytherin, and ten to Hufflepuff!
I'm excited, because I won Haven favorite, and most clever! Thanks, everyone!
I did Tonks, Parry is Hotter, and Amortentia Vial. Tonks got overall fave, and the Amortentia one got most Clever, which I didn't expect, but w/e. =D
LHH got sexiest for the Harry and Draco Chocolate heart one, and Lightkin got most romantic for Heart's Happiness, which were the other two Ravenclaw wins.
Slytherin won Most Beautiful with the Stylish Nihilist's Ron/Hermione Starry Hug, and Hufflepuff got a Special Award for Drew it Myself Ron/Hermione, which sums it up!
So gooooo Ravenclaw! We can add those points to Kita's predictions!

YES. I didn't think that Ravenclaws put in any banners so I didn't include those in my prediction! I need to adjust my predictions then. I guarantee that we won 10 points for the Valentine's Directory and we won 20 points for the Haven's Gilderoy Lockhart's Glorious Goblin Delivered Valentines (The House whose members write the most number of Valentines gets 10 points. The House whose members send the most amount of Valentine Haven banner greetings gets 10 points.) We also got 10 points from Quidditch. So that's about 80+145 right now which puts us as 225. Not to forget the tek-tek competitions, too! For tek-tek there are 35 points available, but 4 non Ravenclaws actually applied (out of 9). So, I think we won at least 10 points there. (I think Cerbera got 1st. Hers was SO clever and extremely humorous). Lastly, there's the Fanfic Contests going on which would be 10 more points to the grand prize winner. Only 1/6 non Ravenclaws did that (a Slytherin). But whatever, vote and be integral about your votes. Don't vote because it's a Slytherin or because it was submitted by a Ravenclaw. Just be impartial. Optimism really helps, eh Cerbera? *prod* Vote here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=11933439I think we're going to have like 255-275 points (readjustment by adding 40 points) I'm sure we're going to beat Slytherin for this event total. OK, my obsession went overboard! Let's all cool down...well, I meant I should cool down. So, how was your day? I got to go out for lunch with my mom and we went to Barnes and Noble and bought like a bookshelf of books and I sat there reading until I had to leave for cello lesson. xp

I wasn't very romantic when making it. xD But it was certainly fun. And I voted in the story contest. Can you believe it - gasp, I voted for me!
But I'm a Ravenclaw so it's good. =D
I love Barnes and Noble, and Borders, but I prefer my library because I can't afford to buy every book at the store whereas the library lets me read them for free. Unless I forget to return them. Then it's not free, but not as expensive as buying it. sweatdrop
Anyone in Ravenclaw a fan of Rubiks Cubes? I just found out that online there's a spell (algorithm [set of steps] in real life) to solve it, and I want to learn it so I can solve a mixed up cube faster than this obnoxious kid in my spell design (computer programming) class. I can solve the first two layers and half of the third one now!

I love your wand and bracket effect! >.< I like libraries a lot, but nowadays it's hard to find an appealing book (that's my genre), so I'm starting to revert back to classics. You know, like Jane Eyre and so on. *sigh* Partly also because my mom got involved and made me read loads of classic books which usually have a TREMENDOUSLY and boringly slow beginning but becomes REALLY exciting in the middle (with exception of authors like Charles Dickens). Barnes and Nobles' books are expensive! >3 They used to be like $7 and now almost all the books there are $14 besides books published by Barnes and Nobles. But Barnes and Nobles has a very nice plushy bag corner where you can just plop and read. Plus, my parents have gotten WAY too busy so I can rarely go and get books. It's quite lonesome, I guess.

What kind of books are you into? I bet we could recommend some. Personally I'll read anything that comes close to science fiction or fantasy, my favorite genres, and once in a while when I'm stuck with nothing to read I read the books I had when I was eight, like the boxcar children, because I'm desperate to read something. It brings back nice memories. Nothing ever beat Harry Potter though. ^_^
