"Dodgeball." He gave a small glare and then looked at the TV and started to channel surf. He didn't want to tell him that he got beaten up. He didn't want to tell him that Raine went after the guys. His ego was damaged enough without having to repeat it all.

he was starting to get angry and got up. he walked over to the tv and turned it off. he looked back at him as he spoke. "don't use that attitude with me. if you got hurt you need to tell me."

although he was being yelled at he didn't raise his voice. "i'm your father. i can't let any of my kids get hurt and not so much as know about it."

"Well, I got hurt! You know about it! Just leave me alone about it! Raine delt with it! She didn't need to, but she did! Now I'm going to be considered a wuss in school because my sister had to help me! Do you know how embarrassing that is?! Well, it is!" He continued to shout and then walked over to the door leading to the basement so he could go to his room.

he watched him go to his room and then let out a sigh. he sat down on his chair and rubbed his head a bit.

He started to work in his make-shift shop to try to ease some of his anger. He figured if he kept himself busy, he should be fine.
Meanwhile, Mari came in through the door and she was carrying some groceries. She seen Smash sitting there and smiled. "Hey hun." She then walked into the kitchen to start to put the groceries away.

he smiled a bit and got up. he walked into the kitchen and looked through what she got. "hey babe. how's it goin?"

"I'm fine. Just got some food for the week." She then started taking some stuff out of the bags and putting them away as she spoke. "Are the kids home, yet?"

"Hmm. Garreth probably has something to do." She continued to put the things away and had a small smile on her face. "Did you see if Raine or Cyan had homework? You know how those two don't like to get their work done."

She looked up at him and seemed a bit concerned. "Is he alright? He's not hurt, is he?" She was still putting things away and glancing at him here and there.
