I don't like the sound of my own voice, even when I'm not sick.
If you've ever had your voice recorded in any way, and played back to you, then you'll know what I mean. It just doesn't sound the same.

I'm...I hear myself on the answering machine every once in a while. My voice sounds so much lower than I thought it was. But who knows, maybe it's just that it was recorded on an answering machine. Wasn't always this low.
Got sick, lost my voice for a week or so, never fully recovered.
I'm still not used to it, though I've been told my now husky voice is sexy. 3nodding

I have a pretty wide range myself, but my voice sounds... I don't know. It just sounds so much clearer and intelligent in my own ears than on the phone.
Some people like my voice a bit too much though... and sometimes I need to remind them that this is not a phone-sex line!

I'm...I have this one friend at work. She can start laughing at the smallest thing, even if you don't think it's funny. My half-random comments usually start her off on these laughing sprees. And when she starts laughing....everyone follows. It's contagious, I tell you. ...stalking you from the shadows ~~{ Selina }~~

But she's hilarious when she's laughing, and it's not like it annoys anyone, just makes us smile/laugh.
