Ribbin If every class gave you no due dates for assignments I would have no problem with it. I should be able to do the work when I want as long as I hand it in before the class is over. Think of my grades it that were how it was. D: I still wouldn't do em. ******** thattt. Just give me the tests. I prove to you I know the s**t, and you let me spend my time in a class I don't know everything about already so I actually learn something. That's how it should be.

Every day we would go over the homework from the last night and learn a bit, and everyone always had questions about everything, but I was just sitting there thinking, "Come ooon, it's not even hard, just lemme take the test, I already know this junk .-." That class made me mad. It was just so boring. D:

They should have a certain class for people who don't know and would like to learn, and a certain class for people who do know and would like the credit. My teachers used to look down on me for being so impatient. They told me it was insulting to the other classmates that I paid no attention and still did better than them. Well excuuuuuse me, princess. Pass me and let me go spend my time in a class where I can actually learn, then.

Eh, I can understand assignments. When I was studying for my Accounting tests I always did the online assignments to help me study. The only problem was by the time I was doing them for study material, they weren't worth marks anymore. =/

The way the school works in Alberta, for highschool, is pretty much, all the assignments are weighed by how important the assignment is; how much it relates to the course and how it'll help you prepare for the diploma or final.
It's all averaged out for the class mark.
Then, there's your diploma mark, or final if you're not in a core course. That mark is then averaged with your class mark to get your Crouse Mark.
For us, if it's above fifty, you get the credits. It could be just 50% and you'd still pass, which is how I passed Gym 10. f*****t class had required hours. D<
What's cool is that for the kids who get like, 49% - 47%, the teacher will bump the mark up so you'll pass. <3
Not sure if I've described it properly. To graduate, you have to fulfill requirements.

Pfff, it pisses every single teacher off that I have that I don't do anything. <********, I pissed off the substitute teacher two weeks ago because she saw that I barely did any assignments and on the quiz/test we just had, I had like, one of the highest marks.
Her words were, "It makes me want to strangle kids who do these kinds of things. You're doing yourself a mistake." Something like that.
Japanese teacher? Held me back for a half hour after class to tell me how brilliant I was and that I was wasting it.
:/ It's just, the classes are SO boring and the assignments aren't helpful because I KNOW the things.
Even the Japanese assignments, I found them tedious and I didn't want to do them.

In mah book, the one with the dragons who are bred for captivity. I need character names. You guys are naming some of major to minor characters.
Due to the nature of the books though, people are dieing.
