Gil paused swallowing his food first "Ahem yeah I had to tame and train him myself, had a quest to stop a monster from harassing a village's sheep and livestock in the mountains so went up there and Enkidu attacked me" he said as Enkidu's ears perked up hearing his name "We rolled down the mountain towards the village battling as we went, took a fair few bites and scrapes there but he was weak and dying by the bottom so I nursed him back to health with the reluctant help of the villagers and well we went from there" he shrugged cutting his food "Still had the occasional bite and tussle at the start but he's well behaved now" he said idly petting Enkidu who was eyeing Miyu's untouched bowl while eating his own.

Oassu chuckled "Yeah sure but you aren't such a sneaky thief now are you?" he said "Still yeah but oh well maybe we'll go to Mineerin sometime, see all the castles and stuff they have there" he said.

Zadina giggled "I suppose some spells are like that" he said making a little rainbow ball hover in front of Amane before it transformed into a little rainbow flower and settled on her lap "Though I still think enchantments have their place, little tricks like that aren't all that useful" he said.

Jeckhart crossed his arms "Performing chocobos? Well I'd expect them to have something better for their acts generally these taming acts have an element of danger to them, stuff like Coerls and Chimera's are common in this world's circuses though a Shoopuf will be interesting to see" he said.

Yuudai raised his eyebrow listening to the story "No offence but it's kind of a hard to believe story when its described like that. More like something out of a storybook that I occasionally have to read to the students of the younger classes. Though why try taming what just tried to kill you all of a sudden" he asked ignoring the nod of approval from his dad while the story was explained.

Felina smiled sliding in front of Oassu through a small open gap "Well in that case you'll just have to teach me how to do a good job at sneaking while we are alone in this dark narrow tunnel. And nope theres nobody else nearby as theres no footsteps that I can hear meaning we have all the privacy we could ever want" she winked at him.

Hebal nodded finally finishing off her ice cream "Uhuh Mari is good and while taming a tonberry would be impressive. It's only impressive if you have enough knowledge to know how dangerous they are. something big and flashy but hey look I think its starting because the lights are going out" she grinned wiping her face.

Amane sighed a little disappointed at the flower going to fade "Aww well thats disappointing because its such a pretty flower and when we go travelling we're going to find a flower as close to this one in appearence as we can. Though I think some of the grown ups forget the simple things and only think about flowers as being good for bees and the environment rather than because of their pretty petaks" she whispered looking around for where the lights had gone.

Gil nodded pleased at Enkidu's restraint as he settled his head on Gil's lap "Well that's very impressive too I probably couldn't manage to do something like that, most of my strength lies in my swordplay" he said finishing his food happily.

Oassu chuckled "Sure we'll go ahead and swipe something tasty though it's hardly something you would struggle to do could probably just snap your fingers and have the chefs up at night" he said.

Zadina giggled "Well I'll just conjure more then later for you if you like but it looks nice for now" he said happily "Though we should be quiet because the show is starting soon!" he said with a small hush.

Satoshi shrugged going for second helpings "Well if you can wrestle down a hill with Enkidu then I'm sure you could probably take on a bear plus you have a big shuny suit of armour to help with the claws and teeth so no need to be overly modest" she laughed.

Yuki sighed having already guessed she would have to replace Miyu's food with something else later "speaking of swordplay... I'm curious do you fight better with some hands more than others or do you just have the normal right or left handedness like the rest of us?"

Felina cleaed her throat choosing to take the path right when it forked in front of them "Well it's not very exciting or fun to do if you click your fingers and ask for the food. And when I was yonger they weren't allowed to give me sweet things unless mum or dad said I was allowed meaning I used to have to try to sneak in and pinch something for a snack though rarely had much success"

Seph sighed trying to ignore the sound of her Chobi running around trying to pester the other birds, some of them most likely being old friends. "Well I must say this place would be pretty easy living if I ever were to join a chocobo ranch like this one" she quietly remarked rolling into another patch of the grass and out the way of a nearby hungry red chocobo.

Gil nodded "I suppose so, I owe it to my teachers though but unfortunately for you I've trained two hands to write, one on each side though I've never really tried to do multitasking for stuff like that except a little bit of cooking and even then normally on campaigns the force you fight with has a couple of designated chefs to feed ya" he said before tucking into another round of potatos.

Oassu nodded "Well yeah I'm not talking mugging people, I'm talking snatching and running, a typical thieves' task as a kid. Go into sweet shops looking all innocent and cute then grab stuff and go, not forcibly taking anything it's a bit different that Itaka's talents he's more like a warrior that did a bit of part time thief work I guess" he said.

Itaka rode nearby yelling at the Red chocobo to clear off seeing it was bothering Seph "Gragh Irelia's got wind of you now, does this with everyone who feeds her, keeps bothering them for food" he said dismounting from the tall black chocobo he rode on who gave a warning glare to Irelia before sitting down beside the couple keeping his eyes high for threats and watching the other chocobos.

Felina smiled ruffling Oassu's hair "Aww how cute in a way. I know what any kid id like in a sweet shop, they would do exactly the same if it weren''t for their parents making sure they didn't touch anything. Even I used to try and pinch the odd treat from the kitchens afterall" she answered speeding up hearing whispers coming from the other path they chose not to take. "Yeah Itaka didn't strike me as much of a thief, a mercenary or a hired thug maybe but not a thief though don't tell him I said that. he used to scare me a little too"

Yuudai shuddered suddenly "I don't trust designated chefs, especially ones I don't know considering the last one of those gave me food poisoning though if I were you and had that many arms the first thing I would do is try to multitask at as many different things as possible even if they say women are generally better at the skill"

Yuki smiled but shook her head "Well thats all rubbish if our family is anything to go by, neither me or Nadira are particularly good at doing many things at once without clones. Pity you aren't a ninja though. If you could learn to use multiple jutsu at once you would make a pretty deadly enemy around here"
