Yep, I know where Haiti is. That's really interesting, I've never spoken with any Francophones from that part of the world. It must be interesting. You should get her to teach you, assuming she already hasn't.
I love the Francophones from some of the French-speaking countries in Africa, they have the most awesome accents.

Well, she bought me French books and cassettes to practice the language, but I didn't really have enough time to learn it... sweatdrop I can only speak Creole...well kinda. I have to communicate some way with my grandmother anyway... sweatdrop What I've really noticed is that people with those accents really talk in a fast kind of flowing pace. Well, something like that... sweatdrop 3nodding

It's good that you know even a little. I've always sort of regretted that my grandmother never taught her first language (Japanese) to my mum, so she could teach me. sweatdrop
Anyway, the best way to learn a language is to use it. x_X God knows I get enough practice living here. I'd be pretty stuck if I making a serious attempt at Spanish, though. No one here speaks it. I'd have better luck learning Arabic.

Okay, no, I did that on purpose.... but that Language...who the ******** speaks Latin, and why did they make us take a class for it?! I could learn it easy enough if I wanted to, and I'm considering taking it up again, but my teacher was insane.

(i'm not really sure I spelled that right)....but anyway that's all I really know. Spanish is a well-known language here. It's the best way to communicate with everyone else if they come from somewhere else. I really love the language, even though I'm not fluent in that either. sweatdrop sweatdrop

Celes: Latin would be handy for learning other Latin-based languages. ....But, so is learning a latin-based language. It's like the goodness of learning Latin, without the hours of futility that comes with learning actual Latin. biggrin
Whatagirl: Yeah, the spelling was pretty bad, but I know what you're trying to say. 3nodding It'd be fine if you were saying it. I'm sure your French is better than my Spanish. blaugh "El pez es rojo, y la muchacha esta sentada."
...THAT will sure come in handy if I ever encounter someone from Mexico. sweatdrop

And that is precisely why I stay out of GD. It's really just in the best interest of my blood-pressure. confused
If he's harassing you, is there anything the mods can do about it??

Well, if ever there's a day when I desperately need to tell someone that my fish is red, I'll be prepared.
Celes: =( I would just ignore the guy. He's a d**k.

I think he thinks I'm black... I love how people take avitars so literally...
Ciel: I can't report him much more. I reported his posts when he spammed my roleplay, I reported his PM's as harassment, I reported HIM when he kept commenting... not much I can do left.
