I haven't been missing in action because I've been riding ponies and painting rainbows, Chris. I've been gathering evidence and witnesses for our claim.

"Destroyed" his character? I might remind you that Darkhawk, and thus Powell, was seen as a creepy would-be Batman by the world at large. Someone to be feared, if not held in abject horror. What I've managed to do is humanize him to his public. Hell, he actually has fans now. People who are genuinely fond of him for his bumbling.
And if you think $2 million is a pittance, then you really have no concept of Earth money.
I'd also like to remind you that Powell has auditioned for this type of work in the past.

Matt M Murdock "Destroyed" his character? I might remind you that Darkhawk, and thus Powell, was seen as a creepy would-be Batman by the world at large. Someone to be feared, if not held in abject horror. What I've managed to do is humanize him to his public. Hell, he actually has fans now. People who are genuinely fond of him for his bumbling.
And if you think $2 million is a pittance, then you really have no concept of Earth money.
I'd also like to remind you that Powell has auditioned for this type of work in the past. Then I hope you've got the witnesses and evidence to back up your claims, because nothing you've said here is going to convince my client-or the judge- that you are acting in his best interests.

Well, there you have it. From my client's lips, and he is willing to submit that in a sworn statement.
Though, uh, maybe minus whatever my translator microbes are parsing into "Florggy."

And, of course, you have evidence proving that it is actually him, down to the cellular level, right? My client has several shape-shifting enemies who, like yourself, seem obsessed with harming his reputation.

If you say so. We'll just wait to see what the judge says about the matter.
Or we can do this the easy way. My offer stands firm, Powell. Hell, I'll even negotiate the matter. $2.5 million and 30% royalties?

My client indicates that he wants to refile with a different claim for compensation. Perhaps something a bit more appropriate after considering your settlement offer.
