darklord_avalon while I am currently working on a drawing of Oasis that everyone doesn't seem to hate for some reason O.o I am coloring the one that I did most recently and I like it. Critique Time~ Hope you don't mind? >w< The Perspective for that particular pose is a bit skewed, but I am ok with it because it looks like it was intentional (Fish eye lens effect, With the center on her chest) However it does make it look like her hips are bent at a painful angle. The color scheme is really what is working for me the most, since the Palette is comprised of mostly muted colors, and the only super saturated color on her is the blue (Which in turn contrast with the Orange around it as complimentary colors) Other than that, I would like to see the lines cleaned up a bit more, and more Line weight thrown around to add more emphasis in some areas, and the anatomy in general is a bit off (The feet and hands, as well as the face. But all in all this is probably my favorite thing you have done yet! 8D

yea it was a test in altered perspective and such. she's slightly leaning back and the camera is meant to be at a fairly high angle, I didn't do it right, but... it gave the dramatic effect I was looking for, sorta...
now since I'm straight up terrible with hands and feet is it possible that you could give me a more detailed crit on the anatomy of these parts, or... like resources or something somewhere so I can learn more about those damnable appendages.
Thanks, I was hoping the palette I chose would work for more than just myself XP; I currently don't have a reliable method for altering line weight, like I explained to DBL what I do is remove the white from under my original drawn lines and color it, as if I were coloring it with say, color pencils on the original drawing or something XD; though what will help is I haven't done any of the shading or highlighting at all, and I think that will make the messy and unweighted lines a little better.
sadly, I think this is one of my personal favorite pieces as well v.v; though hopefully the new one I'm working on will rank up there as well. problem is I almost always challenge myself with each new drawing, trying to throw something at me that I haven't done before. ...>.<

Also about the lineweight, it appears as if you scan in the image and paint on layers ontop of that? If you use your original scan, You can still clean up some of the lines by erasing and emphasizing some of the line weight in pencil. And yeah that's the best way to learn though, Throw yourself in there.

Hmm... that wouldn't be a bad way to do that. ...suppose what I need now is a good resource to learn what lines to thicken and which to thin. its something I've never done... so yea xD;
