*pours the hot water in a glass* May I ask what you are doing, Brainiac 5?
..May I also ask if you go by anything else, because I can see that "Brainiac 5" Thing getting Irritating really quickly.

Hm? Oh. My given name is Querl. And I am currently checking the subroutines on these recreations of the original flying martinis that used to roost in this vicinity. My genius has recreated them to an exacting replicate of the originals that were animated by the establishment's proprietor.
There is just a minor problem with the flight patterns. For some reason they don't seem to want to move out of this corner. I am attempting to correct this flaw now. I may need to up the artificial intelligence that I endowed them with.

Okay Querl. Hmm.. sounds like it. Why is it that you want them to fly anyways?

It was requested, and I enjoy a challenge.
Hm. If I raise their intelligence, their self-preservation instincts kick in and they flock over here to AVOID being drank. That's counter-productive...

Is there a way to just make them fly randomly.. But that would probably not help, too. Because if someone wants a drink they would have to chase them.
Hmm..

If I take away their free will and just give them random flight patterns, they'll spill or crash into patrons and each other.
I CAN solve this. I am a 12th Level Intelligence! It's just a matter of proper A.I. application...
Perhaps I can use the Computo program as a central guiding intelligence for the martinis....

I'm sure you can. It's just alittle complicated.
If you have a central computer system it's true that you can just program them where they have to fly. But would have have to like, redo the whole program so it would follow the signal?

No, most of my artificial intelligences are built from the original Computo model anyways. Minus the, uh, parts that caused it to revolt and attempt to take over the world...

Oh Okay. That sounds like a good plan then..
I'm not sure if I want to know about that. But Hey it doesn't look like these little drinks are going to try to take over the world.

So this is what I miss when I don't stay up late. People standing behind me making chomping motions. It's like being on monitor duty with Tenzil.
