Well, the first few recordings I got done with my band didn't turn out the best at all.
Gonna be trying a new approach to it though... I have the guitar track recorded for our song, My Love; My Knife, so I am going to listen to that in a pair of headphones, then record me doing the vocal track. Then use a program to mix the 2 seperate tracks into one.. See how that turns out

You should use Reason.. Its what the pros use...i use it to.. best way to produce a song..
