"I wish that you could see that our love is bringing out the dead in me."
I think that we should be together just for old time's sake,
I wanna hear you scream just like you used to do when we were alone.
Now the candle's burning out, and the pumpkin's rotting away.
I just want you here beside me on this lonesome Halloween day.
I''m laying in our bed with these tainted sheets pulled right over my head.
I'm singing all our favorite songs out loud and I'm hoping you can hear them somehow.
"Sitting here in the dark, drinking my own blood."
Sami was just pulling on a fresh shirt when Danave slipped through the door using his own key, ushering Tony inside before closing the door.
It was a relatively modest, modern place. The appliances were stainless steel but the counters were wooden. The entryway was simple, short, and ended at the living room, with an open archway to the kitchen on the right side. Down another hall was the bathroom and the bedroom. Sparingly decorated - more for practicality than pleasure - the apartment was crisp and clean.
Sami turned at the sound of footsteps in the entryway, and she brightened when Danave appeared.
"Oh my God!" She exclaimed, leaping to him and wrapping him up in a hug. Danave squeezed her tightly.
"Mmm, hey Hermanita," he stated simply, grinning. "Had a good hospital time?"
Stepping away from Danave, Sami pulled a face.
"As IF," she stated simply.

"And a voice, it whispers: Hello my love."
Every word you said, it ricochets just like a bullet in my head.
I wish that you could see that our love is bringin' out the dead in me.
Haunt me, haunt me like you used to
Won't you scare me, oh. Haunt me.
Haunt me like you used to.
I love you best when you scare me to death.
