*as drake leapt onto the roof he saw Nyl sitting there alone, and went and sat down beside her*

*Drake smiled gently... he felt kind of bad. he thought he had never quite thanked her for her help properly*

*drake looked down at his dangling feet and then back at Nyl*
... I just... I thought... I never really got the chance to thank you as much as you deserved. So... thank you so very much...

Clow stood there shocked, and speechless. Slowly he turned his head to look back out the window at the sun setting over the treetops. Then he shook his head somewhat with a smile, that meant that this was all crazy, "Fake...yet so real."
Clow scratched the back of his head, and then sighed, while his one visible eye flashed red for a second. Then his eye covered by hair and his forehead protector started to glow on it's own, as gleams of red light shone out from underneath trying to escape, "...God, I need a good fight."

She sighed, looking up at the sky now instead of down at the ground.
"You know...almost two years ago to the day, today, I first came to this dojo."

Fenris sared at him, wiping escaping tears quickly from her eyes, then hugging him. She closed her eyes, not having even touched him for so long, she missed Clow, then way he used to be so kind. "I missed you Clow..."

*drake smiled widely and turned to Nyl*
... this place wouldn't have been the same withoutch'ya though... y'know.

This time she did smile, though it was a small one.
"Of course. Without me, half the dojo would be dead."
She sighed again, her smile fading.
"...they're all gone anyway. The family I found here...most of them are never coming back."

Clow smiled as she hugged him. Slowly his arms twitched, and made their way up, to wrap around her. Then they snapped at the chance, and wrapped tightly around her as he whispered in her ear, "I...missed you too."

*drake's smile faded too as he thought of many of his friends that he would probably never see again from his early days, but soon a new warm smile came back to his face as he put an arm over Nyl's shoulder*
Hey... you ne'er know... they might come back... *drake turned his head to the stars optimistically*... and even if they don't... we got to hold onto the family we do have... I mean... we still have eachother... right?

She smiled greatly, noticing he was stilll there, the Clow she knew before Orochimaru, the one she loved. A tear of happiness left her eye as she didn't even care to wipe it up. She let it drip down, leaving it's wet trail which soon dried, leaving a salty track down her face. "I never want that to happen to you again..."

"Yes, but..."
Something wet hit her hand. She looked up again--it wasn't raining. The sky was clear, full of stars. Looking back down at her hand, she brought it up to her face. They were tears.
"I miss them."

*drake saw Nyl crying, and he thought of his old dead mentor, and his dead childhood friend and tears came to his eyes as well. he tightened his grip around Nyl and brought her closer to him*
Don't think about how horrible you think things will be without them... think about... all the times you had together... *drake smiled warmly at the thought of some of his old memories* ... don't make them a sad memory...
*drake looked again at his old friend and smiled warmly*
But for now, go ahead and cry for them. Everyone needz a good cry... does wonders...
*drake's smiled seemed to weaken a little as a tear rolled down his cheek*

Clow slowly brushed his hand down the back of her head, as his cheek rested against her forehead in this embrace, "I'm fine Fen. Besides...back then...I could hardly control my dark powers. Now...I can. But I use them for good...to protect. To protect myself. Others. You. From now on...you won't be seeing me get hurt so easily. I promise you."

She turned, at last, to look at him, raising an eyebrow.
