Satoshi took a deep breath slipping her shoes off in the corner once Yuki had disappeared back into the kitchen having to stir her soup. "Well if you wanted a soup, I could have made you one at any time since its probably the most common dish I get to have when on the road and in need of a quick meal and-" she got cut off receiving a second hug even more suffocating than the last one from her father the moment she stepped through the doorway to the dining room.

Felina smiled pulling Oassu into a hug "Well if I saw you running around the slums, provided you didn't try and hurt me I would pick you up, give you a good clean and fill you up with some food at the very least. But I wasn't even let out the palace really let alone into a slum. But lets look at the positive side here, your not so fortunate start in life certainly hasn't had an effect on your looks" she winked at him

Amane shrugged "Well I dunnno but don't you think it was weird to have a person sit in complete darkness the whole time with just a tiny dim light over visitors heads? Otherwise he would have been in no light at all. Though it would have been more helpful if he told us where Alpha was but I guess we'll go back to the meeting point and maybe grab mum on the way. I think she went to the shiny building house thing last time we saw her"

Hebal cheered hearing the machine beep and prepare them both for the upcoming race "Well I'm not familiar with any kind of flying at all so nobody is at any advantage here" she pointed out bouncing on the spot hyped up as the countdown to begin flashed actoss the screen "And just to make it interesting, maybe the loser can buy the winner some ice cream"

Gil nodded petting Enkidu as he sat down at the table by Satoshi "Well I can't say I blame him though Enkidu doesn't really eat from the table, normally there's plenty of whatever I kill for both of us, hope he won't mind having a little less than he's used to" he said.

Oassu sighed "Well sure but there's a lot more to risk if I get caught rather than raiding any old place for a bit of money" he said stretching "Besides I make enough money as it is, maybe it's just time to retire from the professional thief business just let the guild handle things" he said

Zadina paused in thought letting Merric down where he went over to talk to the big chocobo about the pretty ball "Well maybe it is a nocturnal demon though I think they require more than just a dark environment considering body clocks and all still maybe you're right though what shiny building do you mean?" he asked thinking a number of the stalls appeared shiny now that pretty coloured lights were being turned on for the evening.

Jeckhart frowned "We really shouldn't gamble but alright though I don't think we'll have much time before the show starts" he said overhearing a bangaa family behind them mentioning the show started soon before placing his foot on the pedal to make the airship go.

Satoshi smiled leaning forward on the table once sat down "there will be plenty food for him and he'll get a plate all to himself. It's just that Aelo is very greedy and bold enough to steal what she can. Bit like how Seph would probably be if she were to be reborn a dog" she snickered gesturing for him to join her "Oh and hi didn't see you there, you know its rude to lurk like that" she added suddenly realising that Yuudai had been standing in the corner watching them.

"It's your own fault for not paying attention, isn't that right Ikota" Yuudai shrugged listening to his dog yap along side him then run up to Satoshi for an investigation. "hello again by the way Mr.Gilgamesh"

Felina tilted her head surprised by Oassu's actions "Well I never expected to hear you say something like that. Perhaps I'll turn you into an honest man yet" she answered half seriously and with a hug "Well if you do that I'll at least make sure its a pretty fun retirement for you with lots of holidays and pets and all the rest"

Hebal giggled glancing over at Jeckharts screen "aha your too slow so your gonna find it hard to catch up" she taunted failing to notice her own airship had temporarily stopped moving due to hitting another airship flying about on screen "apparently a lot of demons find gambling highly addictive but I don't know if thats true or not. could just be one of those rumours" she pondered eventually turning back to her screen, by that point at normal speed again"

Amane hesitated uncertainly "Well I guess but mum is also very easily distracted by other things... like flashy lights and buttons" she mumbled nervously as she joined the flow of the crowd towards the tent. "Though they probably say the exact same thing about us and how we can stay awake when the sun is out though personally I can't sleep well if its too bright so I dunno how they do it"

Gil nodded "Shame I don't have more experience with dogs outside Enkidu, I never did learn much about other breeds of them" he said watching Gil emit a small grunt in reply to Ikota before standing up and putting his paws on Gils lap to see if he could see any food.

Oassu chuckled "Been working most of my life as a thief Feli, I think I deserve that little retirement a nice cut of the profits will make me happy so long as Jenna can get everything running smoothly though it shouldn't really matter with you I guess" he said.

Jeckhart nodded focusing on driving "Well yes, a number of sins coincide with gambling, one of pride and one of greed both serve as strong motivators for casinos so many demons are inclined to gamble" he said pausing for a moment to clip Hebal's airship slightly off-track as he passed

Zadina giggled "I know, maybe we should ask some nocturnal people sometime how they manage it though mother would always insist I get out of bed by 6am nice and sharp for preparation and lessons" he said picking up Merric who kwehhed goodbye to the big chocobo.

Yuudai paused watching Enkidu for a moment "Hey relax there, I'm guessing you can smell it but you've not been forgotten about" he told the fiend resisting the urge to pet him using his foot. "So what did you two get up to other than coming around and petsering me and all the family" he asked.

Satoshi almost jumped suddenly feeling something cold and wet against her hand "Ohh umm... thanks for the lick Ikota, much appreciated" she groaned wiping her hand against her clothes. "Well we just bought some fabric to use to make a costume to wear for tomorrow. The clones are going to work on it overnight"

"Hmm... well if that works though you shouldn't get too lazy or eventually you'll burn yourself out with all those clones. It's not recommended to use when you go to sleep as your not resting properly" Yuudai tutted.

Felina rolled her eyes and laughed "True you have been a thief all your life but thats not really a very long time. I mean when I was as old as you in terms of years, I was still eating baby food and crying nonstop and keeping my parents up all night dear. so still got a way to go I think"
