If he was sleeping, he'd be walking around again, and he can't die so the other option is impossible! D< To make sure he wouldn't come back as a zombie, we put in a metal box with 5 foot thick metal walls. Remember fangirls are not that smart, they dug around hoping he was underneath it, when he was in it. We're not that dumb! Besides, we can smell AND sense Ed! We'd know if he was in there! D< Special kind of metal to block all that, we can't have fangirls letting out zombie Ed causing a zombie out break. More like you didn't want fangirls to apply FMA-anime logic and turn him into a homunculus. But this discussion is pointless, since ED IS NOT DEAD~ Well technical not sense he is undead. (playing too much resident evil)
