[Because Damian says so; and I wouldn't want to over extend an NPC's limits. So. This will be the last post. -shrugs- Be happy, Chisato. Damian has basically told me to hand over the Orochi.]
Well that was a disappointing since there wasn't exactly a way he could duck around a technique that he and his clone were leaping into without the real ability to prevent. And as thus the clone collided with the field head on, shattering into splinters of wood on contact and being sent backwards with a good deal of force into the trees beyond. The true opponent would soon crash into the barrier as well, his body being struck by it's assault and being sent backwards to crash and roll across the ground with simple ease. As he slides the last few feet the trees around them grow limp and cease their movement. Of course, the man slowly uses his sword to hoist himself upwards and leaning upon it he glares in the girl's direction with both a hating and pained expression upon his face. He wasn't dead yet, and as such she would need to kill him, if she wanted to get the power that he possessed.

User Image Yuriko watched the Uchiha carefully, making sure that he wasn’t playing some kind of a sick joke on her. ‘He he would randomly attack me he would do it to others,’ Yuriko thought as she took out a kunai. ‘He’s too unpredictable to leave alive. For the sake of the village and its people, he has to die.’ With that, she used body flicker to get behind the Uchiha with ease and brought the kunai to the man’s neck. "Any last words?" She waited a few minutes for his response before plunging the Kunai in the Uchiha’s heart.

"Well so that's where it went, Suzu-chan, it's Sensei's ability. Shigure what should we do about this?" Probably to her dismay, Yuriko would have an audience to the murder of this ninja. Three youngish ninjas spaced out above her in the trees looking down at her and her opponent. "Hmmm that depends on her nature..." The shortest of the three stood in the middle he also looked to be the youngest, but he carried the air of a leader around him. His wild brown spiked hair looked perpetually windswept and he carried a fan almost bigger then him on his back. "So what type of ninja are you? Will you raise that Kunai to others or was this a self defense thing?" Shigure had leaped down from his perch in the tree his travel to the ground slightly slower then normal. He touched down and started to move towards her head slightly cocked he was curious as to what her answer would be.

As the kunai plunged into his chest, the man could do nothing more then smirk, the attack allowing for blood to rush into his lungs, 'causing him to cough a little. After blood began to dribble down from his lips, he casually turns his gaze onto her with whatever there was left of his quickly depleted strength. "Well now... It seems you bested me.. Perhaps we'll meet again in the after li—" He says, though a sickening cough causing blood to retch up from his mouth and onto the ground stopped his words. A gurgling sound soon picking up as he falls backwards onto the ground. His death would come soon after the sound of his blood filling his lungs would end. Eyes glassing over even as the sharingan's escape from his sight within a few seconds of his death.

"Yu~riko-chan, there you are! I was looking all over for you. Thought you might have gotten lost in your own village," chimes Tama cupping his hands on either side of his mouth. He slowly approaches Yuriko from a cover of trees almost a yard away. Upon his face appeared to be a strange green mask that oddly matched the greenery around before the colors fade to reveal a white mask that held no decorations of any kind. Just a mask with holes for breathing and seeing. Once reaching Yuriko he reaches a hand over to the center of his face and removes the mask. He sniffs the air a moment, taking in the smells of the battle Yuriko had just had, before smiling at her. He seemed to ignore the others presence for the time being. He even ignored the body of the defeated Uchiha as he spoke to Yuriko. "I was asked to watch you, I look away for a minute, and then you're gone." Tama complains as he gestures with his hands. In truth he had been following the entire time at the request of his friend Akou but didn't bother saying anything. He even noticed the dead body and the other ninja but said nothing nor showed any signs of even knowing of their presence. "Shall we go back then?"

Fushou gazes down sadly at the scroll in his hands before looking back to Akou. "But I want to know about her."

"Why in the heck would you?" Akou asks raising an eyebrow as Fushou frowns a little.

"I... I fought her. She's the only person that I've ever fought before. And I don't even know her name."

"If you fought her then why are you so bent on not just asking her her name yourself? Ya scared? I think Sai would object too if you gave him that reason alone." Akou replies bluntly as Hikai sighs.

"Can you at least tell us where Sai is?"

"That's easy, Hikai. He's with Ella." Hikai and Fushou look at one another before looking back at Akou. They didn't know anyone named Ella. "Oh that's right. You never met her when she was a mutt, have ya?" When she was... a mutt? "Whatever. Going to her with a tracker on you is no good though. She might get pissed and kill you. Because she's an evil witch." Akou mutters before leveling his eyes then looking down at Fushou whose eyes were filled with fret. For a moment Akou began to take back what he'd said to relieve Fushou of his fear but he soon shrugs, no longer caring.

"What of the woman who placed the mark on Fushou?" Hikai asks gesturing to Fushou.

"What do you mean? Is she tracking him? How far away can she be to track him? Why is she tracking him? You have to be more specific. You know what, forget it. I'll just read the stupid scroll for you," states Akou reaching into Fushou's cloak and drawing out the scroll. "That way I can go back to... what I was doing."

Now.

Tsutae emerged slowly from the water and crawled onto shore, hopefully on the opposite side of the pier, so that she could peek out from behind and get a look at the third member of the party without showing too much. That way, too, there would be some distance between her and her quarry, distance which would allow her time to flee.

Now, she was truly relying on the Art of Nonpresence, as peeking her head out from behind who she suspected was the Ichazuki boy would likely put her directly in the line of sight of the other two. Worse still they might be expecting her to be stalking them, and if they were actively looking for her...

But she had to risk it. She bit down hard on the inside of her cheeks to keep her breathing regular and to ensure she made no sound with her voice as she crawled on all fours out of the water, like some kind of amphibious animal, her long hair falling around her like kelp.

Akou examines the scroll with his eyes a moment before gliding his hand along it. "In being of the Ichazuki clan, I can easily read the scroll in order to find out a little about the female," Akou thinks to himself, his eyes glancing here and there before befalling the scroll, "like her name and clan. Tsutae Ichazuki is her name and she's an Ichazuki. Hm. I don't remember the last time I saw an Ichazuki like me outside of Hidden Moon. I wonder if she's like the children I use to try and play with; the ones that mocked me for my difference in hair color, eye color, feather color... me being an orphan..." Akou shakes his head side to side a moment before continuing to read the scroll. It wasn't that informative. in fact, the best bits of information he got was her name and clan. Though Akou stopped listening to the chatter of the scroll after that anyway. His mind was wondering about what type of person this Tsutae was; what would come of him waiting to see if she'd reveal herself; if she'd spout about her being his master or something which made him smirk darkly because he wouldn't be allowed to be called her pet or something. He flicks the scroll over to Fushou who scrambles to catch it but cannot. Hikai reaches out, catches the scroll, and then hands it down to Fushou who smiles in thanks.

"So?" Fushou asks as Akou snorts before turning to walk towards the village. "A-Akou?"

"What? I read it."

"To us!" Hikai growls as Akou narrows his eyes.

"If you go to some gypsy or something and ask them to read you a scroll, give them the money, and then she doesn't read it to you-"

"Come on Akou. Come off it-"

"Shut up Hikai! Now let me finish. If that happened, do you think she'd give you your money back or that maybe she'd tell you what she'd read for free? No. I decided to do you a favor, one favor. You should have thought of asking me to read it to you. Besides, I don't really like you."

"Damn it Akou! I'm getting real fed up with you! You prance around like some big shot a** hole! Is it because you're Naomi's pet or something?"

"Hikai, stop it. Naomi is all of ours leader; she and Sei. We shouldn't be fighting," murmurs Fushou as Hikai and Akou glare at one another a moment before Akou motions over to Hikai, getting really close to his face. Fushou struggles to push Hikai and Akou apart but to no avail.

"Be happy that I'm Naomi's pet or I'd kill you. And don't take that and run with it either. You keep pushing and soon you'll be under my foot." Hikai glowers at Akou before storming off. Fushou looks from Hikai to Akou before running after Hikai. "Tch. Naomi is my only reason," Akou whispers to himself before leaning against a nearby tree. He was angry but since his mind was wondering he didn't snap like he normally does when mad.

Tsutae crawled just a few more feet onto dry land and then stayed there, only a few meters of flat grass separating her from the Ichazuki boy, but he showed no signs of having spotted her so far and as long as she stayed motionless and low to the ground, that condition wouldn't change. This Akou boy was the only Ichazuki her age she had ever seen, and the temptation to approach him with an outstretched hand was tremendous. He also didn't seem like the type to attack unprovoked. Still... He was an ally of the two she had just driven off from Moon Village. She didn't know the nature or inclinations of whatever organization this was, and in all likelihood she would have to fight or flee.

The thought saddened her. The Ichazuki mostly resided in Moon Village, but in reality the elders of Moon would be inclined to deny any knowledge of them. They worked for whoever offered them shelter, killed anyone who they were paid to kill. Such was the way of the shadow. Even other shadows were a threat.

Even so, if it was just this one boy, she had a chance against him in a fight, and at the least she could escape with the Art of Recall.

She crawled a little closer to him, evaluating him with her eyes. His feathers. His face. His stature. To the extent she could, she sized him up before speaking to him. Finally, she stood to her full height and dismissed the Art of Nonpresence. It would have been as if the boy had suddenly turn around to find someone standing behind him, previously unnoticed. She could hardly intimidate him, dripping wet and wearing only a cloth bandage around her torso, but she nevertheless stood with as much dignity and confidence as she could.

"Greetings," she said, in her natural voice, with her dripping hair swept away from her face and resting on her shoulders. "I suppose there's no point in concealing who I am."

User Image Yuriko jumped when Tama came to her out of nowhere. ‘Akou told him to watch me? ‘she thought to herself. She then looked at the Uchiha’s body on the ground. She had actually killed another shinobi before and it frightened her a bit. She glanced at Tama before she started to walk with him.”Yeah, lets go back to the others.” She didn’t even look back at the dead shinobi as she walked away. She knew that he had a weird power over the wood though. Something she had never seen before. Thinking about it gave her a headache. ‘Something is wrong… I don’t feel the same as before…’ Yuriko thought before she stopped walking, her vision blurred and passed out on the ground.

User Image Leiko didn’t complain as she started practicing her hand signs. She knew that to be the best, you have to do your best. As she did her hand signs, she thought about what Ayami had asked her. “I want to become a Hunter Ninja, like my father. I have no real family. Both my parents have died and I have no siblings. I’ve lived alone most of my life and I have no real friends.” Once she was done with her hands signs, she took the liberty of starting over and doing them again. She also didn’t know what else to tell Ayami. Probing for information was not one of Leiko’s strong suits, especially when said person was probbing her.

Ayami would just look on quietly as her student performed hand signs and spoke about herself . Ayami's eyes were keen and her eyes analyzed everything that the Uchiha was saying . She stated that she had always been alone and that was one thing that Ayami could connect with . For the longest time Ayami too was alone . Orphaned at a young age not knowing her parents or siblings at all till her recent stay in the afterlife .

"I complete understand what you mean . But Lieko you are no longer alone I've been through the same situation for twenty-two years I never knew my parents , what they looked like or what kind of people they were . I never knew I had siblings that even in death were looking for me and protecting me . But thats enough hand signs for now . You wish to become a Hunter nin so we should focus your training toward sparring and thinking of quick ways to get yourself out of dangerous situations and out thinking your prey . Basically everything that a hunter is . "

Ayami stated with a smile as she to started stringing together a combination of handsigns .

" Kage bunshin no jutu "

A cloud of smoke would rise and dissipate and a clone of Ayami would be standing next to her . perfectly crafted and as elegant as the original .

" I put a even amount of chakra into this clone that you will spar with . But no worries it's as strong as you our I want you to defeat this clone before we move on to the next step in your training . "

User Image Leiko wasn’t sure what to expect by Ayami. She knew that she was stronger than her by a lot. She activated her Sharigan. She didn’t care that she was first level with it. As she got stronger, so would her eye. She took a stance, waiting for Ayami to make the first move. She wasn’t accustomed to starting fights; she usually avoided them as much as possible, or finish the fighting. “Ready when you are sensei.”
PostPosted: Fri Jan 08, 2010 5:17 pm

The real Ayami would disappear from sight and would only leave the presents of her clone for Leiko to see . Without wasting anytime her clone would body flicker toward a near by tree branch and start to combine hand signs . Finally she would clutch her hands together and inhale a deep breath of air . Within the next moment Ayami would gush out a large amount of water from her mouth toward Leiko . This was the power of the destruction torrent should it hit Leiko it would send her flying back and hopefully leave her open for attack . Should she dodge it the training ground would soon become a flood pool of chakra generated water .

" Lets see how she fairs against this one ."

The real Ayami stated with a chuckle as she observed the battle with a kage bunshin and her student .

As the waves crashed along side the of ferry as it drew closer and closer to the Konoha port . Inori's long silver hair would flutter about in the seas breeze . She had just returned from a mission that her sensai had sent her on . Now it was about time for Inori to begin her training with black phoenix Ayami Uchiha . She wondered if she what she was going to learn for Ayami or would she be forced to once again to spend the day reading in the library . Just thinking about it made Inori feel down .
Awhile ago Ayami had made her spend the day in konoha archive learning about the basics of the jutsu had she already had in her arsenal . But she would soon snap back to reality when she heard the sound of the bell from the ferry ring in the back around . Signaling that the ferry was pulling into the dock . But Inori wouldn't wait for the ferry to dock instead with a simple body flicker she would reappear on the dock itself .

" Alright last time i checked Sensai said she would be with leiko training at the training ground . So i figure that I'll head there first and see whats going . "

With that Inori would body flicker once again and start making her way toward Ayami and Leiko .

Akou [Ichazuki]
User Image
"Wander, wander, wander... hm?" Akou thinks as he hears an unfamiliar voice. He turns and steps back slowly but says nothing. His tomato red hair seemed to have prickled a little as if he had been startled but his face didn't show it. The frown he had was still plastered on his face and his crimson eyes were still burning but seemed to have changed; his right eye radiating a dim mystical light and the other seeming rather bloodshot. Then, all at once, his expression becomes amused. He recognized her from Fushou's memory. “Speak of the devil,” Akou mutters to himself as he places a hand over his face a moment then shuts his eyes. He inhales slowly and then exhales. Once opening up his eyes again, they would be the same eyes he’d have before, clear and crimson. “So you’re Tsutae, huh? The wet look suits you,” Akou replies sarcastically lowering his hand. As he spoke he wondered why she showed herself now and to him. He wondered why she didn’t just go after Fushou and Hikai. Then, before he knew it, he was beginning to form what he planned to ask her in his head. He was about to spew forth wonderings that he found quite entertaining. “Aren’t you supposed to be tracking Fushou?” He asks, turning from her to look in the direction Fushou and Hikai had run in. “Are you trying to pull something over? Why would you reveal yourself to me?” He continues, tilting his head in her direction with one eyebrow raised.

“Let’s go then,” replies Tama starting to walk a little ahead of Yuriko. After a moment he hears a light thud but thinks nothing of it. It took Tama a moment before he realized what the thud was behind him. He freezes before slowly turning to see Yuriko passed out on the ground. For a moment he says and does nothing. He just stares down at her. Finally his face grows pale and sweat drops line the sides of his face. “Gah!” Tama yells as he clutches his mask tightly in his hands. “Y-Yuriko-chan? Now isn’t the time to fall asleep… Maybe she’s Narcoleptic…? Low blood sugar…? Dehydration…? Just plain sleepy…?” Tama gets upon his knees beside her body. He reaches his hands towards her before tugging them back and then doing the same thing over again. He didn’t know what to do. Was she breathing? Tama begins to lean forward in order to try and listen to Yuriko’s chest to see if she’s breathing before stopping. Even though he had a good intention that was still her chest he planned to plant his face near. What if Akou saw that?

Tama places his ear to Yuriko’s chest a moment before smiling. She was still breathing which was good but so was somebody else; very loudly too. It sounded like someone that was hyperventilating or something. Tama turns around slightly before his face grows pale once more. “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING TAMA?” Akou bellows as Tama flickers to his feet. He extends his hand out in front of him defensively before noticing Akou was no longer there. “Die,” Akou states gliding past Tama and over to Yuriko as blood spews from Tama’s mouth. Jammed in between Tama’s rib cage nearest his heart could be seen part of a kunai, the rest inside of him.

Tama’s mouth drops as he imagines that scenario. He even doubted just listening to her breath through her mouth or nose wouldn’t be seen as Tama trying something with her to Akou. He typically acted before thinking. And even if he were to find out that she wasn’t breathing he couldn’t do anything. Mouth to mouth resuscitation was even worse than innocently listening to the air filtering in and out of her chest. Tama considered himself a friend of Akou’s but he highly doubted Akou would let Tama use mouth to mouth on Yuriko even if he didn’t misunderstand it as something else. “I’ll just take you to Akou,” Tama finally declares snagging up Yuriko and gently cradling her in his arms after placing on his mask.

Fushou (boy) [Death Swallower] | Watari [Uchiha], Hikai
User ImageUser Image
Back in town, perched high atop a building, Hikai sat. One leg dangled over the side of the building while the other was propped up and supporting his arms, supporting his head. His chin digs into his arms as he stares absentmindedly before him. Behind him Fushou stood staring in the direction Hikai was. After a moment Fushou begins removing his cloak. As he did he began to remember the pain he’d felt from the blade of his opponent entering his body. He hadn’t felt such a pain before in his time being a part of the human world. He didn’t exactly like it. Even though, when it happened, he wasn’t really in control he still felt the pain. It was as if he was inside of his body but someone or something else was controlling it. Fushou clenches his fist then opens them before doing it again. He stares down at his hands before looking down at his cloak upon the ground. He adjusts the tattered white shirt he wore that seemed much too big for him before stepping over to the buildings edge. He sits beside Hikai a moment before looking over at him. “What is it?” Hikai asks as Fushou looks away from him nervously. He stutters a while before Hikai’s eyes slide over to look at the nervous child. “Akou and I were bound to go at it sometime. Though it wasn’t as serious as it could have been… as it should have been. Fighting is a natural thing. We are always fighting something so what does it matter if it’s Akou? We conflict in any and every way. And I hate who he is. So fighting between us will always be. Don’t be so down about it.”

“But you and Akou should try understanding one another.” Fushou replies as Hikai grunts. “You and Akou know very little about each other person wise. Maybe if you two tried getting along then you wouldn’t hate each other, you would find common ground, you wouldn’t fight.”

“You think like a child.”

“Because I am… I mean! Oooo, what I said wasn’t what a child would say.”

“Not exactly but it would be just as naive. Just try not to worry about things that you shouldn’t. This is between Akou and me. So just play like you don’t notice any of it.” Hikai replies as Fushou pouts. Every time Hikai looked at Fushou he would sense evil in him but also innocence. He had heard that Death Swallowers were similar in origin to Death Eaters. And the Death Eater Hikai knew—the one named Sei who leader of Dragon Coven that Hikai belonged to—was a very dark individual. He was evil but in an almost innocent way or perhaps evil in an almost idiotic way. He liked things that most would consider evil or perhaps morally wrong. But he didn’t seem to do evil things unless he didn’t know any better. He was like a child who didn’t see why bad was bad and good was good. But, unlike Sei, Fushou wasn’t an evil individual. The only time that Hikai noticed Fushou’s evil side was when he fought in Hidden Moon. And even then he wasn’t sure if what he had been told about Death Swallowers was true or not; that they are born from the greed and treachery in the world. Was Fushou’s innocence just some trick? Did he really care whether or not Hikai and Akou fought? Or was he after something and needed Akou and Hikai to get along in order to get it? Was he really the boy Hikai saw? Or did he possibly have another side to him that held that greed and treachery? “Fushou…?” Hikai starts as Fushou looks over at him. Hikai notices the way that Fushou sat, a perfect mimic to the way Hikai sat, and soon shakes his head. “No…”

“What is it Hikai?”

“It’s just… I wonder… Why are you a member of Utter Calamity? Unlike me, you didn’t join because of what you are and the fact that you were apart of Dragon Coven which is a small squad under Utter Calamity. You joined the head group, Utter Calamity, after finding your way to Feudal Spain somehow. So, why did you join? What brought you there?”

“I joined because I was alone. Well, I felt alone anyway.”

“Felt alone?”

“I always travel around with a Descartes named Lite; though she’s not here now because she’s looking for something. But she wasn’t solid like me or you because she’s a spirit. So I sort of wanted more company than just her. So one day I told Lite. She was the one who led me to Feudal Spain. I joined Utter Calamity because the people there were the only ones that noticed me. The other people I’d met paid me no mind or didn’t care to have me around because I’m a Death Swallower.” Hikai stares at Fushou whose face was slightly covered by his hair. After a moment the boy looks up at Hikai and smiles cheerfully. Again Hikai was confused.

“Wait… you’re friends with a spirit?”

“Not friends really, she’s more like a mother to me. She’s not like many spirits that float around or have passed on. She can take up a body if she so wishes. And sometimes, if you look real hard or she wants to, you can see her.” Hikai raises an eyebrow a moment before Fushou turns to stare out before him. "I have to go..." Fushou states as he stands. Hikai begins to stand but soon shakes his head. If Fushou had to go then he would not follow after him. "Don't worry, I'll be right back," he continues with a smile before rushing off. Hikai began to wonder if Fushou had the makings to be his best friend. But as soon as that thought entered his head the image of Grimace also enters his head. Why was he thinking about her now? Why was she always on his mind no matter what he did?

User Image Yuriko could feel that someone was carrying her faintly. She was pretty much lost in her head, in a world only she knew, or thought she knew. She couldn’t move, it was as if her entire body was limp, or the fact the she had passed out after she had fought a man in a life or death situation. She didn’t even know why she passed out in the first place. It wasn’t like she was wounded or anything. Or did she? She didn’t remember getting hit by the man. She had a pretty good defense, right? She could hear a strange voice. The person the was carrying her maybe? She couldn’t tell. It was too faint.
