As Pilata floated out of the window, Exo launched Demetrius into the air and shot his blade out of the guitar, hitting Demetrius right in the heart.

"Think, girl, THINK!" Pilata screamed to herself, "How can you save Exo?"
She looked at the ground and gulped. Then, she had an idea.
"I'll turn the ground to liquid; he'll fall in, it'll soften the blow, and I'll be able to pull him out!"
Quickly, she put her plan into action.

Exo grabbed Pilata's hand and she helped him out of the liquid ground. They stood side by side as the castle crumbled. Exo examined Pilata's wounds. "Are you alright?" he asked her sincerely.

"I've felt better," she joked, trying not to cry out in pain, "I told that jerk that he couldn't kill me, and hey - I'm right! But the sooner we get back to school, the better. How about you? Are you hurt?"

"Nah, It's nothing I can't handle. Did you forget who I am?!" Exo said with a big smile. He wrapped his arm around Pilata and headed back to school. "You're not worried about what Demetrius said back there, are you?" Exo asked Pilata.

"Well...I don't know what'll happen in the future, Pilata. Maybe...I will repeat what I've done before....I don't know...I'm just so confused right now," said Exo. They walked in the dorm and he layed down on the bottom bunk, staring at the top bunk.

"Don't be," Pilata replied, leaning over from the top bunch, "This time was different. That one time was a fluke. It'll never happen again. Anyway, Demetrius should be dead twice over now. He's not coming back. And even if he did, I'd kick his butt for you."
She winced as she settled into her bed. Her injuries were bothering her, but she decided to wait until morning to get them checked.

"Yeah...you're right..." Exo leaned back and let out a huge yawn.

Exo woke up and saw Pilata sleeping peacefully. He went into the nurse's office and requested a first aid kit. He took it back to the dorm and waited for Pilata's awakening.

He walked back to his dorm and read a few spells.He went to his bed and fell asleep.

Exo sat in the hallway just after last period and played his guitar. Usually, crowds would gather and request songs, but the halls were empty today. He noticed a new comer wandering the halls. "Yo!" Exo called out to the boy, "any requests?"
