"Of course I thought I was doing something right," He yelled, throwing punches with even more ferocity than before. "I thought I could do something that would help the people of Hoenn, do my part to the land that birthed me, but NO! I had to reduce myself to petty thievery!" With that last word, he launched his right arm with all his anger and frusteration, smashing it into Felsic's palm. The Typhlosion's body leaned back slightly, then shook his palm to let it relax. Mike's anguished assault wasn't on the level of a Hitmonchan per say, but constant hits to the hand would hurt anything. The boy lowered his hands, letting them hang as he leaned forward and took many deep breaths. Little beads of sweat traveled down the boy's dirty face, his hair still stuck to his head with all the humidity in the air.

"Lavaridge...is more of a...dry heat." He said in between breaths, wiping a bit of dirt from near his lips. The boy stood up, lifting the strap of his backpack over his head and then dropping it on the ground. He rolled his shoulders, the flame decorated jacket falling onto the dirt. Finally came his basic green tee shirt, he quickly removed that as well, letting it float downwards onto the pile. "Much better." Mike lifted his hands up, his movements feeling alot more free formed without the restriction of his shirt, jacket and bag. Felsic's teeth showed through another smile, the Typhlosion began to find a new respect for his trainer, he was no wimp. "Round two Felsic," The boy said with a smile, his breaths still deep. "put em up."

Mike continued his form of stress relief, images from his past flooding back to him like one of Xanthos' Surf attacks.

"I’m just going to go get Apollo, Shiva and Bahamut healed. Then head down to Saffron City. Have fun you two love birds. Oh and see if you guys can come to my Mom's beach party in Slateport on the first." That being said he waved cheerily at them before heading to the Pokemon Center with Kenny resting on his head. It didn't take long to find the center and stepping inside he went up to the big desk in front and set his pokemon down to get healed. Nurse Joy who was a bit rushed just smiled at him and took them to get healed. Turning around he spotted the Super Nerd he had lost to before, the one with the strange pokemon. Deciding to put it all behind him Dante went over to him wanting to know more about the pink and blue pokemon. "Excuse me, I know I lost to you and your Porygon earlier. I just want to know what exactly is Porygon? I have never seen anything like it before."

Hearing this the Super Nerd let out his annoying snorting high pitched laughter. "A Porygon is a super rare and powerful pokemon that you can only get by getting enough tokens at a game corner. By the looks of you, you aren’t even old enough to gamble so there is no chance of you getting one. Now leave me alone I don’t want to waste anymore time with losers like you." That being said the nerd just laughed and walked away.

Growling Dante made a few inappropriate signs to the Super Nerds back. Before huffing and turning away. "I hate loosing. But he was right, I'm not old enough to gamble. I really want one of those Porygon to..." Frowning he decided that he wanted that more then to go into some Contest. Maybe he could find someone who wanted to trade or he could do jobs for tokens or something? Sighing he shook his head and looking over he could see Nurse Joy place three familiar balls on the counter. Going over he gave the nurse a smile of thanks before heading back outside.

Stepping out of the Pokemon Center Dante pulled out one of his many maps, only this one was one that showcased places of interest and not just roads. After a quick search of it he discovered that the closest Game Corner was in Celadon City. 'Well I can register for Contests on my way over there then.' That thought in mind he folded the map up and handed it to Kenny who slipped it easily into his pack along with Shiva and Bahamut's Pokeballs. Tossing out Apollo's the recharged Rapidash appeared in his becoming typical burst of black and white flames. "All right Apollo lets head down to Saffron to register and then over to Celadon to see if I can't get myself a Porygon." Hearing the Pokemon's name that Apollo lost to caused the horse to snort in distain. "Now now Apollo, I will get you a TM in Celadon so that what happened doesn't happen again." He soothed stroking the horse's neck. Appeased Apollo let Dante and Kenny get onto his back before taking off to Saffron City.

Easily Apollo avoided all oncoming obstacles and jumped easily over the hedge fence. All though they had traveled this route this very morning Apollo was now making the short route seem to go by even faster. They didn't even really stop when they had reached Saffron. "Apollo we need to find the Contest Center its here you need to stop!" Dante shouted trying to be heard over the gust of wind. He couldn't really even see due to the wind stinging his eyes. When he got off he would have to find the Go-Goggles his mother had bought him a while ago. Eventually Apollo did stop in front of a large tent like building. While not exactly a tent it was made of steal and such that was the best way to describe it. Looking up Dante stared at the building for a moment blinking before realizing Apollo had taken him where he wanted to go. "Oh... Well thank you Apollo." He said somewhat dazed as he hopped off of his back and went through the sliding glass door. Kenny was still hanging onto his shoulder a bit dazed at the speed of travel as well, Apollo just trotted head held high behind them.

"It's none of your business," Keegan huffed, not slowing down or so much as turning his head to look at Kasiya. He really didn't want to be around her just now, especially when he knew how volatile his temper had been recently. The last thing he wanted to do was end up yelling at her, or even worse, end up hurting her. "Just go," he told her sharply, eyes fixed on nothing in particular. "Go find your Anorith fossil." He folded his arms across his chest as he walked, shifting uncomfortably in the water-soaked long coat he wore. Not caring enough to take it off, he continued a bit further, before long finding himself close to the spot their battle had just taken place. He stopped, and looked around, noting the park had a second exit. Opting to take it, he trekked through the tall grass, finally taking a moment to glance back and see if Kasiya was still following him.

"Rena! Get out of the way!" Kilik roared, running towards her. His grip on the ball slipped and he dropped it behind him. A bright flash erupted at his back as Ludicolo revealed himself. The Pokemon wasn't sure what was happening, but he noticed his master running towards something. He skidded to a halt, then noticed another boulder falling in her direction. s**t! he thought, breaking into another run. On the higher elevations, something was pushing large rocks down to the lower level - Rena was the target.

"Hold on!" he barked, pushing her with his entire weight. A split second after his foot left the spot, a boulder crumbled into rubble. He began to breathe heavily. "You okay?" he looked at her, huffing and puffing. He saw her nod, then he blinked over at Ludicolo. "Alright, Ludicolo. Seems you're out," he laughed, "Help us find a Lairon." The search was over quite quickly for the Pokemon. He merely pointed behind Kilik and Rena.

Wild LAIRON Appeared!
Lv. 35

The boy turned his head, seeing the beast on the level above him. The Pokemon roared, then backed off a few feet. There was a crash as he slammed his foot into the ground, another large rock appearing in front of the iron behemoth. With a mighty roar, he ran forward and used a Headbutt on the rock, Kilik growled and jumped back, pushing Rena away. The boulder came flying passed him, slamming into his arm as it flew. A rush of pain filled his body; something cracked. His eyes widened and he fell to his knees, clutching his shoulder. A mighty yell of pain escaped him, his eyes fogging up in tears. He had never been in a pain like this before. "L-Ludicolo!" he growled, "Use Surf!!"

Looking around the large tent, it looked even bigger on the inside, Dante spotted a large desk that looked like an information desk. Shrugging he went over to it. "Is this where you can register for the Pokemon Contests?" He asked.

The bright cheery receptionist smiled and nodded at him. "Yes it is. If you give me your trainer card or pokedex for just a moment I can enter the data for you."

At that last part Dante frowned. He didn't have a Pokedex, he had always just looked everything up in books, and he didn't have... wait, he did have a trainer card. Opening the front part of his pack Dante found the card that Scott had given him. Frontier Pass's doubled as Trainer Cards, he just hoped that it would work. Handing it to the girl, now that he looked at it he was a bit embarrassed, not only had he never participated in any of Scotts events but that picture of his was kind of old.

Eying the card and then Dante the girl frowned. "Are you sure this is you?"

"Yeah, sorry I haven't been able to update the picture yet."

"Oh, well let me do that for you now while I enter in your data Mr. Remington." That being said the perky girl pulled out a camera with out warning and snapped a picture of Dante, and Kenny who happened to be hanging off of his shoulder. "There we go." She smiled and turned to type in a few things, Dante assumed she was inputting his data. After a few moments of waiting she smiled and handed the card back to Dante. "There you go sweetie, I updated your picture and entered you in. You are free to compete in any Contests in the Kanto region. Also, for entering you get a free Pokeblok case." A almost Pez dispenser type thing appeared in her hand as she forced it into Dante's. "I wish you good luck!"

Blinking at the speed that was all done at Dante stared at the two items in his hands before looking around and seeing a few people by some machines. Curious he wondered over to them, "What are you doing?" He asked some people who looked like they were just getting started.

Looking up an elderly lady smiled at him. "Why we are getting ready to make pokebloks. If you have a Pokeblok case and some berries you are free to join us."

"What are pokebloks?"

"Why pokebloks enhance your pokemon's appearance and generally improves things like intelligence, toughness, cuteness and beauty. Just to name a few."

"It can make my Pokemon smarter?" If this was true Dante would never spend all his money getting these pokeblocks. Maybe just maybe it would stop some of his pokemon from doing certain things.

"Oh my yes. It doesn't work miracles but I have noticed that my pokemon all appear to be better all around after consuming a pokeblock." The old woman explained cheerfully. After hearing this Dante's eyes widened, he needed berries now, he had to crush them and get pokeblocks.

Kasiya stopped for a moment, and stared at him. Or rather, the back of his head. "I-it is so my business," she said finally, running to catch up with him. "You're my friend, so I'll make it my business! And besides, those fossils have been lying around there for eons, so they can wait just a little longer. My friends are more important than any fossil, any day." She stopped when Keegan stopped, her hands on her hips. "Why won't you just tell me what's wrong?" she asked him, her voice rising a bit. "I want to help, but I can't do that if you won't let me." She smiled meekly when he turned to look at her - she'd gotten him to tell her what was bothering him once today, and she would do her best to make him spill again.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2007 7:42 pm

"Even if I told you what was going on," Keegan retorted, shaking his head, "there wouldn't be anything you could do." His still damp hair clung to his forehead, and he hastily brushed it back. "It's not a matter of you being 'allowed' to help me or not. You just won't be able to. End of story. So be a good little girl and leave me alone already," he growled, casting a dark look her way. Don't overdo it, a voice in the back of his mind told him, and he continued walking again, shoving his hands into his pockets and wincing as he felt a painful sting of guilt in his chest. His pace slowed, and his shoulders slumped. "I'm sorry, Kasiya. But trust me on this one. You should go with Mike now."

Kasiya let out an angry growl of her own, and stamped her foot, much like a child. "But I don't want to go with Mike," she told Keegan firmly. "I want to go with you."

Anyone who'd known her well enough in the past few months would probably have died of shock at that particular moment. Kasiya herself felt a bit lighter as she said those words, almost as though a restraint that had been holding her back had been broken. "I don't care if you tell me what's going on or not," she went on, her gaze slowly falling to the ground just in front of her shoes. "I just...want to be with you, that's all." She was a bit surprised when she realized that her eyes were dry, and that she wasn't crying even a little bit. "But if it's too much to ask, then I'll go," she nodded, looking up at him one last time before she turned and started walking again, patting her Vaporeon on the head. Ariel looked up at her trainer, and shook her head slowly. Human emotions were very difficult to understand sometimes.

Kasiya's words caused him to stop once more, and he stared at the ground for a moment, trying to think of something to say in reply. When he finally looked up again, she was already walking away from him, and he stumbled for something to say to keep her from leaving.

"Wait, don't go," he said suddenly, although it came out more like begging. "I don't really want you to leave," he admitted, holding out his hands defensively. "I didn't want to hurt you. I have a bad temper, and it's been a bad day, and here I am making stupid excuses." He sighed, a defeated look appearing on his face. "I'm sorry."

I win, Kasiya smiled to herself. No one can resist a cute, pouting girl. She stopped walking and turned around. "You didn't want to hurt me, yet you told me to go away, and you called me a little girl?" she asked playfully. "I don't think that constitutes as not hurting someone." Her smile got wider as she walked towards him, no longer caring that he wouldn't tell her what was going on (and she was completely oblivious to the fact that it may or may not involve Mike). She was just glad to have broken down his defenses enough to not push her away again. "But anyways, apology..." she trailed off suddenly, and stopped moving as she started to feel a bit light headed. She blinked a few times, staving off the feeling and continued. "Apology accepted," she said finally.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2007 8:41 pm

Keegan opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't. As Kasiya started walking again, he noticed a falter in her steps, and even as she came closer to him he could see that she was looking rather pale. For a moment, it looked like she was about to faint, and instinctively Keegan reached out to catch her, but stopped when she accepted his apology. "No need to rub it in," he chuckled, not actually having apologized to many people in his lifetime. "Now would you get over here and hug me already? You said you wanted to help, so help."

That comment made Kasiya smile; this was the Keegan she'd come to enjoy spending time with. "Glad to oblige," she replied, practically stumbling into his arms. The faint feeling overcame her again, and she would have fallen had Keegan not been supporting her. "I just want you to know," she murmured into his shoulder, wondering if the wrenching pain she suddenly felt shooting through her side was a good enough reason to cry or not, "you can tell me anything, anytime, and I won't judge you or hold it against you." She pressed her face into his shoulder for a moment, letting a few tears fall from her eyes and mingle with the rainwater that had drenched his clothing. She looked up at him, smiling wistfully, and desperately wanting for him to lean down and kiss her just then, and she probably would have pushed herself up and kissed him first had her legs not given out on her. She slumped to her knees, unable to fight off the dizziness this time, and the constant aching in her side told her something wasn't right. Gently she touched the spot where Casimir had slashed her, and winced. "This isn't good," she sighed, closing her eyes.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 26, 2007 9:25 pm

This time he did catch her as she came stumbling into him, with more force than could normally be expected of a small-framed girl like Kasiya. "I do know that," he said, only just able to make out the muffled words coming from his shoulder. "It's just that this time, it really isn't my place to say anything." As she looked up at him, he could see more clearly now that she was a lighter shade of pale, the ghastly colour of her skin was standing out rather well against her blue eyes. "Are you all right?" he asked, immediately regretting asking such a ridiculous question as she sank to the ground. Not really sure he knew what to do, he looked around helplessly, his gaze resting on his right hand. "Blood?" he asked, staring at his appendage stupidly before he looked back at Kasiya, his eyes wide. "What did you do?" he asked, the rarely shown emotion of fear playing on his voice. On the verge of freaking out completely, he dropped to the ground beside her, not knowing what to say or even think as he looked at her. He glanced at the spot she'd touched, and moved closer, gritting his teeth for fear of what he might see as motioned for her to show him her injury.

Running off to down the street, leaving both Apollo and Kenny who didn't latch onto him fast enough. Lucky for Dante, who had momentarily forgotton that he should be in bed right now the Pokemart wasn't to far. When he reached the doors he was breathing sharply had to hold a hand over his chest feeling sharp pangs surge through him. Holding himself up with a shaking arm that steadied him on a wall he finally managed to compose himself. Shaking his head he whiped of the sweat that was on his forhead. He knew he wasn't in the best of shape but with his injury he really shouldn't have been walking around even. Sighing he went into the shop and up to the counter in order to ask where they kept there berries. "Hi, can you tell me where you keep your berries for making pokebloks here?"

The person at the counter looked up from the newspaper he was reading. "Berries? No we dont have anymore of those. You need to come when they are delivered to get those."

Slightly disappointed Dante decided to at least check out there TM's, he did promise Apollo one after all. Sighing he went over to the disk cases and fliped through them trying to find one for Apollo that wasn't a fire or normal move. After a moment his eyes rested on a green one. Smiling he picked it up and took it to the front. "One Solar Beam TM."

Glancing up the shop keeper eyed him for a moment before resonding. "2500." Fishing through his bag he found his wallet and pulled out the nessisary money. Taking the fake disk from Dante the shopkeeper riffled through the desks until he found the right disk. Putting it in a bag he handed it to Dante and went back to reading his paper. Smiling Dante took the bag and left the store only to bump into an annoyed looking Rapidash and glaring Duskull.

"Eheh, sorry you two."
