Fur the half breeds, I'm not crazy about the idea. I don't where you guys have heard that the genes come mostly from the mother but it isn't true... I'm not a doctor in biology but with my minor I can certainly say that you get exactly 50% of your genes from each parent. The only difference is that certain aspects will only manifest if found on both chromosomes.

As for the traditions in Judaism, the reason that explains why only the mother can "transmit Judaism" is because you always know who the mother is, contrarily to the father. This way they avoid a father saying "yeah yeah he's Jew too, I slept with this X woman, X years ago, so let him come into the community". It has nothing to do with genetics. Nor does it have anything to do with the guild also... just interesting 3nodding

That being said, genetics being put aside, for the sake and simplicity of the game system I thought we should try to avoid half breeds if possible. Especially when it is explained that the clan values purity and sees anything outside their clan as lesser. I'm all for creativity, but I think if there was one clan that wouldn't accept half breeds amongst its ranks it would be the Hoshigaki.

EDIT: Okay I thought about it. Both Sage and Qyp, you can make half Hoshigaki if you like, but they will not get a Samehadamaku and they will only be able to learn Hoshigaki jutsu if a member of the Hoshigaki accepts to teach it to them in RP. This way we won't get into the details of cutting all the bonuses in half because they won't have the same genetic background. But these children will not be considered Hoshigaki.

I forgot the name of it, but 50/50 is only for the actual chromosomes.

PUNNET!! Punnet squares do not always create a 50/50 split, and in fact can create a 100/0 or 75/25 chance for certain traits. These are split into the categories of Dominant and submissive traits, and dominate traits remain dormant within the mother to pass on.

Honestly, let it rest and stop being so nit picky. I've seen 14 year olds that look 20 and I myself am a 21 year old that most people claim looks 16-17.

How does it affect you if my character has an obsession with the dead, or if he looks older, I mean he is a giant man, perhaps he has an abundance of testosterone. You need to unwind your panties and pull em down a little, because your power wedgie is having an effect on your brain.

Because your opponent for the Kiri Escape Mission is going to be much stronger than you are now. So unless you train hard and prepare in the little bit of time remaining to you, be prepared for hell.
