"e-eh..nothing...It's nothing!"
Gray blurted hastily, trying to aviod Kayako's gaze. What was wrong with him?!
.....or, was he fine, and this another illusion? No; Kayako was really there, this was really...
Gray took a step back, completely out of his depth. The feeling was making evering heartbeat ring in his ears, his face burn, his breath somewhat quickened...
"I...."
Gray suddenly darted sideways; wanting to draw in a breath of fresh air and flee from the strange sensation that made him feel like he was filled with helium. As he dashed aside, a second comment slipped out, hurried and embarrassed, but...
"I, I think you're nice, okay-!"
And then he was running across the grass, trying to find his way out of the isolated bubble, to feel life and normal daylight agian...
What, in slag's name, was wrong with him?!

"Wha-Gray! Hey, where are you going, we're supposed to be fightng!!"
'.....I.....think.....' she added silently; at this point she really wasn't sure what they were supposed to be doing. They'd scared off the enemy, but somewhere she'd gotten so caught up in this that she hadn't really thought about anything else.
Kayako took a step forwad to go after him, but stopped abrubtly, something just now clicking in the back of her mind. She stopped moving and drew her arms up to her chest, letting peices of her purple hair fall over her face.
'He....thinks I'm nice...?' even to herself this sentence was laced with small, sad sort of laughing much like one does when they try not to believe something. She turned away from where the others were and just watched the boy retreating; she didn't need the questions. Medri would be laughing now too, only over the fact that the two pilots had even gotten this far.

Medri had been watching out of the coner of his eye... He fell of jenny laughing so hard. He had to find something to change his mind for kanashisa running off, and this was priceless. He didn't know if he was laughing at kayako or gray or both of them. "Wow that was epic!" He slowly stood up. "Jenny was your camra running!"
Yes medri... it's always on
"Quick rewind and replay!"
"I, I think you're nice, okay-!" Medri was laughing even more now and then he stopped. One of the reasons he was laughing was casue he remembered a long time ago people laughing at him when he told them he was in love kanashisa.

Reiku heard everthing he was laughing as well but he knew he shoudent but heck it was funny. He slowly got up and put the picture back in the cockpit and looked towards the area where the base was he thought to him self." Time is geting thin.... I dont know why im thinking this but i have a feeling im gonna be thrusted into a battle with that black LFO and I need to get everones trust.." he walked a bit away towards a small ledge and stood there. The wind blew his silver hair in front of his face."

Medri sighed and breathed out hard getting his laughing under control. "Ahhh, Sorry kayako. I had to do that, At least I was nicer about it then my family would have been." HE tried to smile but thinking about it brought kanashisa to mind again and it made him all moopy.

A slight 'grrr' noise.....
The sound of army boots clicking on concrete, pausing once....
WHACK!
"Shaddup Medri! You've got a walnut for a head!"
.....And Kayako was back in action. For evil and twisted purposes, she had picked up a stick and chucked it right at the hacker's head to silence his obnoxious laughter. That glare in her amber eyes could probably burn through solid concrete, if it didn't run away in terror first....
"Ever notice how we haven't saved anyone yet? Do something about it!"
She then turned her back on him and walked off in a huff, not really caring what everyone thought and thinking about as straight as a toddler's rendition of a line.

"Bite me kayako!" He normaly would have throw the stick right back at the purple haired girl but he was just not in the mood to get into a big fight. HE grumbled, and sat next to jenny. Besides Kanashisa was gone so they had to make a new plain becasue they could not snipe all the defences now. Damin kayako, thinks she the boss or something. Not like thew world revolves around her

The purple-haired girl with her back turned just made a sort of 'hmph!' noise and went back to thinking silently to herself. Kayako was in a mood, and she didn't want anyone to see how she kept glancing at the hiding boy out of the corner of her eye.
Over near where Silence had set down, Asuka stood watching everyone quietly. She was mostly interested in the 'new guy' who was with them now, though she couldn't help but snicker at Kayako and Gray's little 'love scene'. Those kids were amusing! But still, the silver-haired one was confusing and very serious.
Cocking her head to the side a little, the dark-red haired girl walked over to where he was and looked at him from a few feet away.
"Um...so, your Reiku right? Why exactly were you in this area?"

He jumped a bit and then turned and smiled as he looked at her. His ruby hues gleaming through the moon lit sky." Yes im Reiku, I was in this area looking for any KLf's that would be searching for me and my LFO. Lets say the UF wants me and twlight for want I did to them a few months back." he took a breath as walked towards her so they could talk."

Asuka took a step back too, just because she wasn't used to someone coming that close. When people at the foundation got close, it was only to do something bad or take her into another room. Of course, no one could do those things out here, but old habits die hard.

He stopped and closed his eyes and sighed."I don't run.. I've been running for to long... they killed my family... now I'm returning there the favor. I'm sorry for appearing like this.... I had no idea what was gonna happen. I'm sorry for the problem's I gave you and the others.." He turned and glared towards where the base was and clutched his fist. "They will suffer...." A tear fell. His soft side was showing a bit. He only cried when he thought of his parents and family.

"Trouble?" Asuka looked at him blankly "How did you cause us trouble? Those KLFs and the black LFO were already after us before you arrived, so you really didn't do anything at all."
She didn't stop to think of how he would react to this; Asuka always told it like it was. That was her style, and she wasn't planning on changing it any time soon. The emotion on his face was....odd though. The redhead wasn't sure if she should say more or just leave him be. It was hard to tell, some people only became hostile if you brought up their problems.

He looked at her and took a deep breath. "It was when I appeared on radar and I overheard the KLFs and I sped up. And when I went head on with that black LFO with out thinking what would happen.." He opened his eyes as he let the breath out and started up again. "That's why.. I caused you problems; its just the.. way I came in... I messed you guys up big time........"

"But...you didn't." At this point, Asuka was confused. Why was this boy so set on thinking he'd done something wrong? It didn't make sense.
"Sure your appearance was sudden, but you didn't cause anything major...." she paused for a minute, settling on something. "You shouldn't blame yourself for every little thing. That's what Gray was always doing before and it only made everything worse."
There was another kind of odd logic here: Asuka-logic, meaning you say what you mean and mean what you say 100% of the time.

He nodded and looked behind her towards the LFO's. "Your right. Sorry about that." he smiled. "I never got your name miss." he looked happier now but if you looked into his eyes you could see hurt and distress.
