He smiled and stopped, he sighed and began to explain.
"It's druidism, my dear. You see I am good friends with nature, and I help it, in turn it helps me. I simply asked the water to allow us to walk, and I know it said yes because I haven't fallen in yet."
He laughed at little, knowing he was rather reckless, but what the heck, this wasn't a fight.

She raised a brow, suddenly remembering how sometimes nature normally liked to pull pranks on people. "And has it crossed your mind that it might be waiting for the proper moment?"
"They say nature does have a wicked sense of humor after all." She found herself laughing as well, but now, she wasn't entirely sure what might happen.

He laughed, the water would play no jokes unless he requested it to. Which, to play along with this girl he decided he would.
"Wow you're right, what if it's plotting something right now?"
Just as he said that, tentacles of water would quickly attempt to snatch the girls boots right off, while still being as gentle as possible.
"We may never see a prank coming."

Her eyes widened somewhat as she ended up trying to keep her boots on, letting out a surprised cry as she kept ahold of his hand but ended up hiding in back of him.
"I don't think the water likes me much."
Her other free hand rested on his shoulder, almost stopping herself from jumping up on his back. She didn't think it was ladylike but this was all new to her.

He chuckled and shook his head.
"Nonsense, it's holding you up, of course it does."
As he said this the water tried once more, this time acting faster.
"No need to be shy."

She finally wrapped an arm around him, trying to make sure she kept her feet away from the water as much as possible, although, she thought contact alone would be enough to keep herself from sinking, if he was after all, the one the water was listening to, she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I don't really want to sink. Umm..land is starting to look real good about now there, Tia."

As she wrapped her arms around his neck he could only smirk. His vampiric lusts began to kick in, he turned to face her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"And so are you little lady."
His eyes showed no sign of threat, or any sort of frightening image. They were half closed, one right before a couple are about to kiss.

She wasn't quite prepared when he turned, swallowing hard when she found herself in his arms, looking directly at him. "Little lady? You know, If I didn't know better, I would have to start to believe you did that on purpose?"
She did feel drawn to him, but she wasn't quite sure why. She only kept her arms around his neck, looking curiously at him, finding she still wasn't touching the water as he held her up slightly.

"On purpose? Me? Why I wouldn't do anything that sneaky."
His tone was a playful innocent, though it was quite obvious he was far from it. He looked from left to right before speaking again.
"But you know, we are so close, it almost looks like you wanna kiss me."

She looked down at him almost incredulously. Taking notice he was looking around for a moment, she wasn't sure how to take that as. Alone with a man she didn't really know that well.
"I want to kiss you? I was protecting myself from the water. I told you I didn't feel like going for a swim, right?"
She noticed his tone of voice and his actions, he was for some reason, having abit too much fun with this all.

"Oh is that your excuse? You know you don't gotta be shy."
He was only playing with her, he wasn't really one of those perverts out for sex and all on the first meeting.

"That depends if the vampire is well behaved or not?" She had only encountered a few on her travels. So she figured perhaps Tiamat was probably going to admit to being one. Now, she wasn't sure how to proceed.
"I don't generally..go around..kissing people when I first meet them, Mr. Vaden." She tried to distance herself mentally, although his antics were amusing to admit.

"Uh oh, I may be in trouble then."
He reached up with his left hand and pulled his scarf down so his mouth could be seen. When she said her last comment his smirk was well visible.
"I'll make an exception if you will."
He wen't probably 90 percent of the way, his eyes half shut, and he'd wait.

She watched as he pulled his scarf down, revealing the rest of his facial features, noticing he was actually handsome. Most vampires always seemed to be.
"Ummm..I'm not sure if I should, Tiamat. I mean.." She found herself actually wanting to, wondering if maybe she hadn't been alone perhaps abit too long, it had been forever since anyone actually seemed to be interested.
"Why are you doing this?" Sapphire eyes looked towards his half closed ones.

His speech was now that of a whisper, as he spoke to the girl.
"Maybe I have a thing for ya."
He said as he leaned to kiss Magik, he would do it slowly, not forcefully. If she wanted to back away she could easily, but if she were to embrace it, then the would kiss indeed.
