I didn't start with low brass, but on trumpet o:
but once middle school started I went to baritone t.c. towards the second half of the year. Then in high school in my third year of marching band I did sousaphone and played concert tuba biggrin

IDRC wat u ppl say about marching instruments vs concert instruments. They are ALL brass. So yeah, I play Tuba, trombone, trumpet, baritone, mellophone, and french horn. I am an epic band nerd. That's just te brass eek should I go into percussion and woodwinds? Well, I dont need to go into woods, cuz I don't play any xd Why do you think there's no woods in Drum Corps?

I tried to play flute, but was too lame at it, and my teeth are too retarded to play any reed instruments. So I'm stuck with Baritone, Euphonium, and Trombone. Since I can play Baritone, I might as well know how to play Tuba...

Drakarrna I just play trombone when it comes to low brass, though I was the section leader, untill I graduated. sad Same for me, but for when I was in grade 9... and I was the only real Trombone, the others were baritones playing Trombone 2 parts sometimes. xD I only know how to play the Trombone at the moment, but I am learning Piano. I play mostly 1st Trombone, and on rare occasions I play 2nd. I am in my grades concert band as well as the junior Jazz.

but i wanna ask something,is it okay for a band to have only one person playing the tuba in the low brass section?
and yeah,i'm the guy who plays the tuba.
