The One And Only Pentavus Monday, I played D&D, being the dungeon master to a new group, it was fun. Got drunk after. Tuesday, I did nothing at all, watched anime and kept drinking x_x Wednesday, I DMed the usual group and played Pathfinder after with friends, kept drinking. Today, woke up hungover as ******** but was able to rest properly, kick my own a**, did dishes, cleaned my apartment, cleaned my van, and now, I'm at work, opening packs of cards biggrin The Ranch is a sitcom about a failed football player moving back home to help with the cattle ranch. I'm almost done watching it and I'm sad it's only 10 episodes long. Bad hygiene is a rampant stereotype in gaming communities as such and sadly, it's true, I don't get how hard it is to shower before going out and putting deodorant on but it goes right over some people's head. ooOOooo. I would ask what your campaigns were about, but you said you don't really do the role playing side? That...doesn't sound all that exciting. I finished Daredevil! I kind of don't get it though. I guess that is why it's a stereotype. Most unfortunate though. It's those same guys who complain that women won't date them even though they are such nice guys, but get passed over for assholes. It's like no...you get passed over for people with good hygiene.

What do you not get for Daredevil? I may by able to clear things up biggrin D&D Monday: The group learns of different cults emerging in the northern part of the sword coast. Upon investigation, they will realize that the groups are trying to bring the Princes of the Apocalypse, aka the Princes of Elemental Evil, back to the material plane and must put a stop to them by closing the gates to the elemental planes. D&D Wednesday: The group is currently assisting defenses of a town under siege by a cult of dragon worshippers and a blue dragon. They will soon find that the cult is gathering forces of the chromatic dragons and a hoard of treasures as part of the ritual to bring Tiamat, the evil dragon queen, back to life. I'm a nice guy, I shower and keep good hygiene, but I'm just not that good looking, overweight and can be quite the cynical a*****e. I recognize my flaws and know why I'm never going to be in another relationship hahaha XD Everyone should have hygiene standards though. Regardless of if they are a "0/10" or a "12/10". A solid 10 is auto negative infinity without hygiene.

Like just kill everyone? Why would anyone bring about the Apocalypse? That sounds like a terrible idea. don't they know they'll die too? You need a Dragon Born! Probably the Cynical a*****e thing. Yeah....doesn't matter how good looking you are if you smell. Though people with bad hygiene usually don't look good cause like...pimples and dirty from not washing and greasy hair etc. Also if you don't bother with good hygiene you are also probably wearing dirty/stained clothing and may have yellow/rotting teeth.

Considering I've never seen Black Sky mentioned in any DD comics, it confuses me as well, but Elektra does deal a lot with The Hand in the comic, leading them by time. Maybe it's just a reference to their destined Leader. My hypothesis. All the followers of the respective cults to believe that bringing their god to the material plane and serving them will grant them favors and spare their life against the infidels. Fanatics really. To them, the apocalypse would just be a purge of the non-believers. There's no Dragon born in D&D but there is Dragonborn, who are humanoid dragons with lesser powers of their dragon lineage biggrin Completely not the same though XD I've been working slowly on trying to be less of a cynical a*****e. It's why I've been hosting those D&D games, actually leaving my apartment once in a while and forcing myself to talk to people. It's a slow process but I've made progress in the year the game store has been opened! I've never had issues online talking with people. I doubt I came off badly here... have I?

Well at least it wasn't something super obvious that I had missed? Like...she wasn't that great of a fighter. Sure she likes to kill people, but so does the Punisher. I really don't see what makes her special. ooOOoo like the Christians and judgement day. I have a feeling those Dragonborn wouldn't be able to shout a dragon out of the sky. Still could be fun to play one I guess.Do you like D&D more or Pathfinders? Oh, you are just the worst. I don't know how I put up with you. Nah, your fine. Have you ever used the word Gitch? I was reading a thing about Canadian words and one of them was Gitch. I have never heard that in my life. Is it an East thing?

I prefer pathfinder since there's more to do but it can be imposing on a new player. 5th edition d&d is more newbie friendly since it's newer and more simple. As for those dragonborn, they do have a breath weapon that varies depending on your draconic heritage. The religious crusades would be a good example of similarities between those d&d cults and real life. As far as the call floor at work and me, the whole Black Sku thing is secluded to the cinematic universe. I wouldn't pay much mind to it until more is explained in further season. What is sure is that Stick is probably immortal and ao will Elektra.

They seem so common to me! My man had a Pathfinders book and was thinking about trying it with some of our friends. It sounds like at least one of us would have needed to play it before though. Yeah, I read a lot of DragonLance books and I think they are based on the same lore as D&D? Not the Crusades! So they are going to show up in the Avengers?

I don't know, they may, but considering the stuff going on in Agents of Shield doesn't carry over in the movies really, maybe not? DragonLance was originally created to be a D&D setting like Eberron, Faerun, Greyhawk, etc. But I don't think it panned through and the author just kept writing in that universe making it its own. I should read some of those. The D&D book series that's most known is from The Forgotten Realms universe. Pathfinder's core rulebook contains all that is needed for rules and creation and stuff, only thing missing would be monster information. I don't remember if Pathfinder has free adventure paths available, I'll check on their website during my shift tonight. It's definitely advised to give the player section a good read through in the core rulebook. Every area got their own slang and dialect though, even going from town to town. Small differences but still. I imagine people from west canada would sound weird to me, much like I sound weird for them.

I enjoyed them, but it's been a long time since I've read one of them. There are a whole bunch of different authors who contribute to the universe. Haha, sounds like a lot of work! That's true. But like...Eavestrough is like....that is what the thing is called. It's like not having pen as a word.

As far as books go in the D&D universe, there's tons of writers but the authors to look for Ed Greenwood (he created Elminster, an awesome wizard smile ) and R. A. Salvatore, the creator of Drizzt Do'urden, the drow broken over powered character that a lot of newbie to D&D wanna be. The rule book is more intuitive if you play one of the beginner campaigns along with it. Learning the rules bluntly is hard. Seeing them in motion is much easier. I had to google eavestroughs and we just call em rain gutters here o_o

Yeah I hate when we are starting a new game and they are just reading the rules and I'm all "I don't get it." Until we actually start playing. Really? o_o Man I am sooo sleepy! zzZZzzzzz

That's a start smile Rules of stuff really don't make sense until they are put in practice, also, the system allows for house rules. And yes, really ^^;; english isn't my first language D: lots of english words are lost on me... If you are sleepy, go to bed biggrin sleep well~!

Doesn't network TV play R rated shows and movies sometime though? Yay! My favourite books are The Wheel of Time series, but I love books in general. Also English is a really ******** up language. They say it's the hardest to learn. Eh...kind of having a disagreement with one of my RP partners and it has me stressed out. Kind of at a loss for what to do.

I need to read the wheel of time series, been meaning to ever since I learned of the existence of them. I learned english playing video games, it can't be that hard XD mind you, I failed advanced english grade 12.... didn't need it for college haha. I'm sorry to hear, I hope the two of you can work things out... If you don't mind me asking, what's the disagreement over...?

I suppose the network probably feels like an R rating would limit their audience, but Netflix doesn't really have that problem It's pretty great, though a few of the middle are a little harder to get through. I kind of think it's because the author was busy being sick and dying though. It picks up again when Brandon Sanderson takes over. Probably not alot of eavstroughs in videogames. XD It's kind of stupid really. I wanted a couple of characters to get together and he doesn't. I really regret bring it up.
