Akihiko Mori " Literally nothing," said the driver cheerfully, one hand reaching upwards to adjust his thick glasses. " However, I'm painfully human and the records up on Angel Mountain haven't been updated with my info that says I know about magic crap, so I'm the last person anyone would expect a group of Sins to be with. I mean, come on: a drifter with little formal education and an unsteady means of work? Who would expect him to have a group of the strongest beings in existence in his truck?"

  ___________________________________________________________________________ Arthur's eyebrow twitched as Aki happily confirmed that he was useless. The Sin rolled his eyes and leaned his head against his fist as he stared out the window, starting to tune out the man's words until he realized why he so proudly said them. So because he was remarkably weak creatures wouldn't think twice about him. Maybe there was logic to this. Or not. There were still six deadly Sins here. If something was hunting them then surely they would sense the plethora of energy, right? " Alright, I'll give it to you. But how about this: tell me what I forgot!" he snapped. ___________________________________________________________________________

Akihiko MoriAki grinned, peering at Arthur out of the corner of his eye. " Wow, you're really cute when you're angry." Snickering, he remained silent for the next thirty minutes, dropping Pride off at her massive house and Wrath at the airport. " Who else has to get off at the airport?" he asked, not entirely sure where everyone was supposed to be.

___________________________________________________________________________ Arthur blushed when Aki called him cute, but it quickly melted back to rage once he realized his question had yet to be answered. After a couple minutes the brunette realized it still wouldn't be answered and threw up his hands in a frustrated sigh. This man was impossible! Asked about who was next to leave, Luxure waved one hand to get Aki's attention. " That would be me." She gestured over her shoulder, to where Ish and Beatrice sat. " They'll be going to the same airport as me." ___________________________________________________________________________

Akihiko MoriHe nodded and drove off towards the other airport, spending the majority of the ride either teasing Luxure right back or trying to irritate Arthur. When they finally arrived at the second airport, Arthur waited until they left the truck to turn to the final Sin, a lazy grin on his handsome face. " Now then, did you want to hear what you forgot or not?" he asked.

What was so secretive? He knew it wasn't possible, but his heart was beating rapidly with hope. Was it possible, even just a little, that Leon liked him at some point? Akihiko MoriHe laughed cheerfully, the car driving onto a highway as he headed for Arthur's place. " Aw, I'm half tempted to not tell you! You're so adorable, kid." He sped up, looking to Arthur out of the corner of his eye. " Alright, alright, I'll tell you. You know how you started liking Boss after he saved you? Well, lemme tell ya something, he wouldn't have done that without me." Moving into another lane, eyes staring forward. " Isaac's funeral had just ended, and he was my cousin, so Leon insisted on walking me home. We passed by this group of kids and would've kept walking if I hadn't noticed one of the kids was way too scrawny to be participating voluntarily. I was injured pretty bad in the fight that killed Isaac, so Leon made me sit behind as he helped you. After that, he wasn't the only one watching over you. He was just the most visible." He got off the highway, slowly stopping the car at a stoplight. " He wasn't that intimidating on his own, Arthur. I protected you too. You hated me anyway." Turning his head to look at Arthur, he smiled just the same as before, not looking like it had ever bothered him. " There ya go, now you know! If you want, you can transport from here. I don't mind. We're almost at your place, though, so if you'd rather the ride, it's fine with me too."

___________________________________________________________________________ Arthur listened silently to the confession, his eyes growing wider slightly. Aki looked after him? He thought back to the first time he met Leon. He had been dragged by a group of older kids to an area they were convinced no one would see them. They were going to beat him up, they were beating him when Leon came rushing in. Arthur could still remember every minute of it, seeing the older guy fighting them off then looking at him and touching him gently, asking if he was okay. It was love at first sight. To think that it was Aki that was behind the scenes... Arthur shook his head. " There's no way." he muttered and looked at Aki harshly. " You always picked on me and made fun of me for liking Leon! Why would you protect me? The only reason I could think of is so that you could be the only one to pick on me!" he accused. How dare this guy take the credit for all the help Leon did! ___________________________________________________________________________

Akihiko Mori" You don't know anything about me, do you?" The truck surged forward as the light turned green, Aki's eyes on the road. " I come from a big family. I'm the fourth out of nine, so a lot of my time back then was spent taking care of my siblings. When I saw you getting beaten up, my big brother instincts kicked in. After that, however, I guess I was jealous. I kinda thought you were cute back then." He shrugged, turning onto a much more quiet street. " You don't have to believe me if you don't want to. It won't make it any less true. Just ask Leon if you think I'm lying."

___________________________________________________________________________ Arthur hesitated when Aki spoke. He smiled, sure, but there was something in his tone and the air around him when he said that that stunned the Sin into silence. He looked and the glove compartment, just wanting to stare at something. Was it possible that Aki had been the one to protect him all this time? He didn't want to admit it. There just couldn't be a way he would miss that his entire life in school, right? Arthur snorted when Aki mentioned being jealous, his hand subconsciously moving to his side and touching his brand. Jealous was something he could relate to the most. The car eventually reached its destination and Arthur looked out to see the small house he rented. He was silent, wondering if Aki was telling the truth. He'd have to talk to Leon and figure this out. Looking back at Aki, Arthur held out his hand. " Give me your phone." he said. Once given to him, he added a number into it and sent a text to his own phone. " There, I've got your number now, and you've got mine." He handed Aki his phone. " I'm going to talk to Leon and see for myself if it's true." He climbed out of the truck and closed the door behind him, walking to his house without saying goodbye. ___________________________________________________________________________

Akihiko MoriAki handed his phone over, confused until he realized what was happening. Were they trading numbers now? How cute! Taking his phone back, he pressed a button and rolled down the window to shout at Arthur as he walked away. " After you do, let's have dinner!" he called, starting the car back up and grinning at the Sin. " Later, Artie!" With a wink, he sped off.

 ~~~It had been a week since the attack. The houses were fixed, the plants were growing again, and Nikolai was feeling much better. His memories were still a little hazy, but most of them had returned. Whatever confusions he had Sloth and Aysun cleared up for him. Someone named Erik came and rewrote his memories, but... " Dearie," Nikolai called out to Leon. " You wouldn't happen to know anyone by the name of Erik, would you? A secret admirer of yours, maybe?"

Leon Court Leon popped his head into the room, a large sun hat on his head. " Erik? Doesn't ring any bells. Why?" he asked, stepping into the room. He wore a thin shirt and gardening gloves, clearly having been in the middle of taking care of the garden.

" I've the impression that he's behind what happened last week." Nikolai explained while raising an eyebrow at Leon. For such a manly guy to take up something so... not manly. In a way, the Sin found it rather attractive. In the middle of Nikolai's lewd stare, Aysun ran over to Leon with a hat of his own on and mud on his knees and oversized gloves. " Uncle Leon! Uncle Leon! Look, I pulled a weed!" he announced proudly while holding up a few daisies.

Leon Court" Really? What makes you think tha-" Interrupted by Aysun, Leon looked down to praise him, before seeing what he'd pulled from the dirt. He whimpered quietly, whispering to himself. " My daisies..." After a few seconds of a trembling lip and teared up eyes, Leon finally forced a smile and patted Aysun's head. " That's great, Aysun! But I told you, pulling weeds can be difficult and you might hard the flowers. Only do it when I'm there to help you, okay?"
