Coruscant - Temple Lower Levels

"Well lets get this over with." Locolvictum said with a sigh, "Whats the progress on your experiments?"

"Our sleeper droids are coming along nicely, but we hit a small snag." Zaris Dumas said, making a small motion with his thumb and index finger. Trying to show how small the problem is.

"How small are we talking here?"

Zaris Dumas shurgged, "We asked a few hackers from different departments to find a anolmoly in the programing. A larger potion than we would like from the control group was able to find it."

"Fine, just get it fixed. The Empire already has plans for the droids that are in the long term, fix this or pay the price." Locolvictum threatening people was rare, but when he did it never was an empty one. If progress isn't made soon in that project, someone that works under Zaris Dumas will be made an example.

"Well the progress over in my department is going well." Kinsa `dira said, "We have already made some preperations for the final tests."

"That would be?"

"Well the first step is to implant cybernetics in a Gundark so that we can control it to a extent. Then we are going to use it to test the strength of some of my new designs that should improve the users strength to the point where its stronger than a Gundark."

"I have a feeling that will horribly back fire. Put up extra safety measures and have a kill switch in case something or anything goes wrong."

"You make it sound like it happens alot."

"It does with you, Sando please tell me you have something that we can actually use?"

"Yes my lord we actually do have something. Our new healing salve is coming along nicely, so far results have been made on most wounds; however, we still have much more tests to go through before we can have a complete list as to what the salve is effective on. But there is this one side effect."

"What would the side effect be?" Locolvictum said, sounding a tad curious.

"Well what our tests have showed is that all the subjects have experienced extreme pain during the healing process. We aren't sure what is casuing it, but we are already a hundred percent sure that it isn't the wound."

"Fine, just run the rest of the tests if you deem them nessceary. Other wise it sounds like a finished product. And Piket" Locolvictum said shifting his eyes, "should I even bother at the moment?"

"No."

"Fine, I expect progress reports at the end of the week. You are all dismissed, and someone send my useless assistant in."

Ruins upon Dxun

Croix managed to make it out of the ruins, even with all the pain that held him at it's mercy. It was dark out, the wind was howling making the trees rustle in the lush dark green forests. It was as if the jungle was alive and dancing with some invisible tune. Croix felt afraid, the dark usually made him scared, but along with the events that had happened, it was a little more then he could bare. It was cold, and glowing eyes leered out of the dark at him.
Croix was immobilized by fear, pain, and thoughts. He laid down in the temple entrance, starring up and out to see the star lit sky. He knew the reason he was in pain was from the bugs that had latched upon him. Just as he knew the bugs were latched to him good and wouldn't detach easy. Trying to push those thoughts aside he concentrated on if help would come. If any one realized they had come here. Croix lived a life of exploration, but he hadn't been prepared for this. If he was going to survive... It would be on instinct if some one or someone doesn't come.

Tython - Spaceport

as they reached the hanger, the skies suddenly brightened..there were still signs of thunder...small flashes of lightning..but the tumultuous weather had calmed down considerably "Davth" she stopped and suddenly turned to Corvin and gave him a big hug...suddenly drawing back ,she blushed and biting her lower lip she looked down for a moment "I'm sorry...I just..he must've won his battle! The Force Storms are calming! We must board the Phoenix for just a moment...do you mind?" she looked up at him hopefully, not being able to miss the wind ruffling his golden hair, or the way his eyes twinkled with merriment despite the chaos around them...she smiled, took his hand again and headed aboard the ship, nodding at the crew still disembarking she made her way to the holding cells, the Twi'lek woman was still in her place...the Storm would not disappear with her presence here, but Davth had somehow managed to balance the war raging inside of him, she suddenly dropped Corvin's hand without really understanding her own reaction and made her way to Davth's cell "Master Terva..is it safe to assume you are one with us again? turning again to Corvin and back to Davth Master Terva this is Corvin Blanc, he was a great aid to our troops on Mustafar...and has joined us now...his mother resides at Mahara Kesh....

Screaming Phoenix - Holding Cell

The togruta smiled "I would take a step back my friend." he pressed his hands against the door and watched it topple onto the floor. The master stepped out of the cell. "Sorry it was rather uncomfortable in there." He put on one of his biggest cheesiest grin and placed his hand on master Stone's shoulder "You make is sound as if I would leave when there are so many people who have yet to take in my charm." His face took a more sober quality as he was introduced to the padawan. "Greetings Corvin, I am glad to hear that you were such an aid to our order. Your mother resides in the temple? I am sorry I have been away for quite some time, I may not have met her."

Mandalore - Star Port of Keldabe

The Feeorin shook his head as he began to make his way out of the port and back into Keldabe. As he shook his head an improperly secured fuel line to his flamethrower came loose, it swung down scraping against his armor sparking the fumes in the line caught. The fire greedily climbed the line feasting on the fuel tank before exploding engulfing the man, the tank for his jet pack erupted dosing his armor in accelerant roasting the mercenary alive in his own suit.

Coruscant - Temple Lower Levels

The five scientists got up and left, well execpt for Piket. He seemed to hesitate like he wanted to say something. But decided not to say anything and left with the others. Locolvictum flicked his wrist again and all the halo images came back up. Then he pressed a button on the keyboard that was built into his desk. Even more images, a good part of them was more charts. But a number of them were notices, plans, flight schedules, staff listings, and messages that was sent to him. All these pictures, images, and files filled the whole room. It seemed like you couldn't stand anywhere without being in the way of one thing or another.

Then his assistant walked in. So far her display of her skill was less than helpful.

"You didn't do a very good job. Do you want to see where transport 49 goes?" Locolvictum said very claimly. The thing about transport 49 is that it is a fully automated ship that is driven by a quantum computer. The only directive it has is to follow a schedule to the letter. Only leaving enough room inside its coding is to make raindom hyperspace jumps to prevent people from tracking it. To many people on the star ports, its concidered a ghost ship since everyone that goes on it is never seen or heard from again. What goes on the ship seems pretty standered, nothing odd, spare parts, food, drink, entertainment, weapons. Mostly anything that you would find at any star port being transported by one ship or another.

The Twi'lek started shaking. Everyone that has been inside the divisoin for at least a month has heard the rumors. It was concidered certain death, and surpisingly some people actually would get on it intentally. But like the rumors say, no one returns.

She quickly got down on her hands and knees, "Please my lord I beg for your forgiveness!" She cried in fear as tears rolled down her face.

This is something that Locolvictum never enjoyed. There are certain things that can't be fixed or changed. But this is part of the job, in this world where everyone is trying to gain more power, he needed to solidify his position of power. Even if it hurt those around him. Sometimes Locolvictum wasn't sure if he was himself or if he was walking through a intense fog brought about by the work he needed to handle.

Tython - Spaceport

"Finally some good news!" Corvin said, relishing the chance to catch his breath and hear Elyria's words without straining. He accepted her hand and followed her aboard the Phoenix, secretly disappointed that their embrace didn't last longer though he tried not to show it.

"So this is Davth?" Corvin said to his companion, then turned to the stranger before him. "Master Terva" he said with a slight nod - bowing as much as he dared without taking his eyes off a man who could very well still be a threat (As Corvin was no stranger to masked Force signatures now). He tried to allow a sense of reverence to be more apparent than his suspicion, but something about the Twi'lek left his hackles raised.

Tython - Spaceport - on board the Phoenix

Elyria laughed, her eyes brightly shining "It is good to have you back my friend " she placed her small hand atop his large one and gave a gentle squeeze "I mean no disrespect, but perhaps you should stop in for examination...you have fought a fierce battle...for your safety as well as those here... She turned to Corvin, barely able to contain her happiness at finally...some good news "You will find Master Terva quite unlike most Je'daii you have met" laughing again "He really is a bit of a scoundrel!

At that moment her comm went off...removing her hand and flipping it open "Ensign Ma'lek here...no sign of Grandmaster Endar's fighter...I checked the logs...he took off days ago without filing a flight plan...sorry that's all I've got" "Thanks Ensign...that's a great help! Stone ..out a look of worry crossed her brow as she looked from one man to the other "Davth, I fear he is at it again...when will he realize it takes more than just one man..no matter how strong...to take down the Empire.... she ran her hand through her hair and began to pace, slowly, placing her finger to her lips as she spoke.... "We need a plan...but just how does one slip undetected into the midst of the enemy.... she looked up at the two...

Dxun-jungle ruins

Croix sat up, never minding the pain. Slowly he began to find a control over the pain. While sat up he focused on his thoughts, numbing the pain and he noticed that the bugs were multiplying upon him. They were almost upon his neck. If he were able to concentrate the bugs would halt. But this would mean he would have to go without sleep. For now though Croix looked up to try to figure out what was making the noise of a snarling beast. It was behind the trees in the shadows of the dawn. It were as if the beast were waiting upon him, waiting for an easy meal.
This thought made Croix a little angry. He wasn't sure as to why, but with his anger, he felt a power from his core, aching, feeding, thriving of this anger of his. The bugs poured their venomous toxins making his anger quell even more.
"your not getting me..."Croix said aloud while focusing some of his attention at the beast.

Tython - Spaceport - on board the Phoenix

The togruta returned the nod to the other man before looking down to address his fellow master's inquiries. "Nonsense my dear, I have been in much worse positions and managed to come out with my wit, good looks, and charm all still intact." he winked as if to drive the point home but he could understand her concerns, he knew who he was but he felt different somehow. "A scoundrel, you wound me milady. I am always honest in my intent, and we both know I have never wronged anyone who did not already have it coming..." he paused for a moment "That business back on tatooine does not count."

Master Terva's joking manner visibly drained from him as he heard the news about the grandmaster. "I fear he may have lost himself in his fervor to dismantle the empire.... If we managed to find him before he does something drastic." he paused inhaling and exhaling with a deep sigh "I fear the only way to end his one man crusade would be to either kill him, or sever his connection to the force." his face dropped when he finished speaking it was grim to even consider those options but they would work. "We could i suppose put him under lock and key with a guard to ensure he makes no more foolhardy attempts but I am not certain we have the men with the strength to do so to spare." the togruta lowered his head unhappy with the only ways he could think to stop the grand master.

"Luckily we do not have to make a decision based upon my suggestions, since we of course do not have him in our possession."
the man leaned against what was left of his cell door, his lekku twining slightly. "My first thought would be to simply find the least expected route for us to take and play the role so to speak." the togruta shrugged tapping his chin just under his lips as he continued to think

Coruscant - temple dungeons

The cold, dark, durasteel walls of the torture room faded back into view from the blinding white, hot, pain Ka'all had experienced. His throat was dry and cracked from the screaming he wasn't even aware of doing. A dark figure towered over his horizontal body strapped to the table as blood pooled underneath him from the pricise wounds inflicted to cause the most pain. The worst thing was, they weren't even asking any questions! It was just mindless, pointless torture to please whatever sick, twisted mind that was standing over him. The shadow of a man stepped away as a medical droid floated forward and began unceremoniously patching his wounds. Confusion faded as Ka'all realized they couldn't very well have their prisoner dying if they did actually want information. The droid's metallic hand raked across his forehead, pulling crusty, blood covered white hair away so it could begin stitching the Je'daii's scalp back to his skull. The sharp pain of the procedure was a new torture in its own, the edges of his vision fading as the master blacked out.

Time had lost all meaning in this place, Ka'all had no idea how long he had been captive as he awoke on the floor of his cell. Everything ached as he tried to move towards the small container of water on the floor. Holding his hand out, Master Endar tried to use the force to bring the cup to him, but to no avail. What had they done to him that he couldn't even lift a simple cup? Giving up on the water, Ka'all welcomed the blackness as he faded from conciousness once again.

"Davth! we could Never!...I mean..he practically raised me....! pacing some more.... "What we need is...a ship..a ship not recognizable to the Empire...and..a pilot...someone to lead us through the back alleys....like a smuggler..or...a pirate...someone who knows the "right" people...someone...... suddenly laughing her face radiant, she turned "Corvin!"

Coruscant - Temple Lower Levels

Locolvictum rested his head on his hands and said,"Oh for the love of the Emporer, stop this excessive crying and stand up." She did as she was told, tears running down her cheeks.

"Now go make yourself decent and go home for the day." Locolvictum said waving at her to leave. The Twi'lek nodded her head and left. Locolvictum sighed and got to work.

He looked at charts of various data. Some showed a incline other declined. These graphs seem to follow a high and low pattern throughout the year. Moving onto messages, most of it was updates on various projects. Some were personal messages from Piket. Most of them were requests to do something else other than borring reasearch. Looks like he wants to go on 'vacation' again.

The beast glared at Croix, giving him a hungry and evil look. It gave off the animals thoughts. What it planned to do. What it was about to do.
It jumped from it's place from beyond the thick forest and into the opening between the jungle and the ruins. Croix shivered with fear and crouched down and clutching to himself in a curled up ball. He sobbed and could hear the beasts breaths in his ear. He also heard a heart beat... Two heartbeats. His and... The beasts! It was coming to him more and more clear, not as a Sound, but feeling. He wanted it to stop. It grew closer and closer with each of it's steps.
"go away! Leave me alone!"
With that, the next heartbeats he heard were his own. He stopped sobbing and looked up to see the poor beast on the ground, lifeless, emotionless, and dead.
Croix couldn't believe it. The beast had died, it was a shock. Croix knew it couldn't be coincidence. He killed it...

Tython - onboard the Phoenix

"So now I'm a pirate?" Corvin laughed, obviously not offended in the slightest. He casually reached into his voluminous robes and unclipped a com unit from the body armor he wore beneath. "You get all that, Dea?" he asked with a pleased smirk, his eyes shining as he looked eagerly over to Elyria for a reaction.
