If Buttercup could only see him roll his eyes. Being sore, really? Of all the things to motivate him, it was because she was sore. Sighing a bit he responded with a smile.
"You think we're already official mates and already, you're ordering me around. Fine...yes dear." Thunderbolt responded sarcastically.

Nikolai heard advances of a different wolf so he makes a sharp left turn and leaps over a river. He runs for quite sometime before he reaches a grand looking oak tree. He pads past it and beyond it there is a sea of yellow buttercups. He sets her down and she disappears. "Sorry I forgot your race was short." He scoops her back up and sets her on a rock. He howls quietly and an explosion of blue butterflies fly up. They encircle her then off to the sky. He sighs and looks at her. "This is my homeland."

"Hold your feet apart and try not to jump." Before she could ask, he scooped her up in his mouth and bounded off into the forest. ((Did you do that to me?? A little confused.)) She circles the spot where he had placed her, taking in the scenery around her. Finally she turns back towards Nikolai and speaks aloud.
"It is a beautiful place, but I don't understand. Why did you bring me here to show it to me?" She asked.
While she was speaking aloud to Nikolai she mind speaks to thunderbolt.
"He has brought me to a strange spot across the river, but I do not think he intends to harm me. He is showing me his homeland. When you come, don't reveal yourself until I give my word. I want to see what his intentions are, and I don't know what would happen if another wolf suddenly showed up in his haven..." Buttercup spoke telepathically.

Pups came racing into the field, they stood as tall as her. They yipped and played as he padded forward. Their mother stood just at the edge of the trees. She barked and the pups returned. She stood taller than buttercup but shorter than Nikolai. She bows to him before walking back through the trees. He closes his eyes and sighs. "I wanted you to see this because this is the last of my pack. "

She was even more surprised when the mother wolf bowed to her, not to mention she felt really short compared to the size of her and her children. Once the mother and the pups leave, buttercup looks at Nikolai, her eyes glowing with deep emotion.
"If they are the last of your pack, then why are you not with them, protecting them? Why do I instead find you wandering around our territory threatening my pack?" She asked.

He chuckled, "first off I wasnt threatening your pack and second alphas are not welcome until the pups are bigger." He smiles at her and motions for her to climb aboard. "Watch out the hedgehog, he's somewhere up there."

He connected to her mentally, 'no I wasn't insulting you.' He smiles up at her. The hedgehog appeared between his ears. He stepped forwards towards their den. Their mother came up and they rubbed each others necks together. She smiled at the newcomer. "Come in."
