Filling the forest, were the sounds of horrific, tortured screeches of various creatures in the distance, their cries of pain was enough to catch the one eying it's dinner. The creature turned into the direction the sounds were coming from, which just so happened to be behind it.
And it was that moment, that it's own cries of pain shrieked through the forest as dozens of massive jagged nails flew through the air, striking into it's body just about everywhere! Its last breaths as it fell to the ground were almost saddening to hear, but for the one who struck it down, it was anything but sad. The giggling of a young girls voice echoed through the forest, it was almost eerie! Hoshiko would soon see her rescuer, sitting atop a massive snake-like creature that so happened to fly, she would also notice the familiar sight of massive nails that also were sticking out of the snake, but didn't seem to be harming it. It was almost as if they were always there. "A whole forest of lesser beings, all for me to slaughter...! " She grinned, playing at a little wink to the horrified Hoshiko before jumping off, from there she grabbed onto one of the nails embedded into the dead creature below, kind of swinging herself from it to land directly onto it's lifeless body. "Was this ugly thing bothering you? " She grinned, stomping on it's face several times. It wasn't a pretty sight, as bones broke, and blood started to flow, her boot was becoming bloodied from the splatters. This was...probably not the kind of sight such an innocent girl was used to seeing, judging by Hoshiko's face going completely pale. Was she better off with the monster, or THIS monster? "Bleed! Bleed! Bleed some more! "

.........And...Hoshiko...? She just took off running in utter fear! "...Hey..? ...Well, that wasn't very nice...I think I just saved your useless life! How dare you run away from me!" Maybe she was better off with that creature.

Flying high above the earth, the damaged and disfigured "angel" stared down at the ground below him. "As good a place as any..." He was a decent distance outside Marvel City. Raising his arm that didn't carry his spear, a blade of pure light spawned, and he sent it hurling down towards the planet.
Right as the blade pierced the planet, the small opening created would begin to widen, and and small tears and ruptures began forming on the surface of the planet near the blade. And in only moments, the earth began to split open, violently ripping the ground apart and causing the tears on the planet's surface to shift and open violently. "How fortunate I had enough power for one... more... of these..." This is the same thing he used in his own time in an attempt to destroy the planet. And it almost succeeded...
As the tears began to widen, the area around them would begin to rip and tear as well, spreading the chaos and calamity at an alarmingly fast rate. Indeed, with power such as this, the planet would crumble and destroy itself before the day was over...
His head slowly raised. "...And here... she... comes..."

"Mordi doesn't... wanna be alone..."

User Image

And indeed, in the next moment, Mordi shot up from the earth, standing right in the middle of the calamity. "...Mor." She stomped down on the earth, and the first tear slowly, agonizingly began to try to mend itself, though it was struggling between a state of restoration and destruction. "Mor... Mor!" She twisted her foot around, forcing the tear to slowly get closer to closing. She took a deep breath. "Mordi might die this time..." When she had to do this before--back in her time--the toll it took on her was almost fatal. She paused a moment, thinking about how no one ever recognized her deeds before. That she had saved the world... in a way, it almost made her want to not put herself through this torture again.
...Then she thought of Autumn.
Her head rose, a determined look on her face. "Mordi will do what's right." Power began to build around her--the power of the forbidden song she had only used in its entirety once. "The slowly filling hourglass, spilled memories~" She began in a quiet melody. "Blowing dryly away...~" As she began the song, a tremor of earth shot out around her, causing the earth to quake momentarily, and the destruction around her to halt entirely. It was as though the earth was fully under her control...
"The tin doll twisted and hanging in chaos was laughing, dryly~" She shifted her foot on the ground, causing a few of the nearby tears to begin to slowly realign themselves. She felt the hourglass ticking away. She had so little time. "The witty melody makes me dizzy~ because it is so bothersome...~" She felt an intense pain in her chest as she felt her existence dwindling from within her.

"What a powerful song," Xeno's distorted voice called out, as he slowly lowered before her. "Too powerful. It's going to kill you, isn't that right? You used this to stop my planet destruction magic before. How did you survive then...? ...Could it be, that..." He shook his head. "It doesn't matter. Your body will not survive another without your blood being awoken."
Mordi's eyes focused on Xeno for a moment, before she continued. "Everything is buried and piled up~" The song couldn't be stopped. She could not stand here and make conversation. She began to step around as she sang, every step sending a tremor through the earth. "In a world where even sleep does not exist...~ The tranquility and dark melody invites~"
"Tch. How annoying." He raised his spear. "You won't finish, I'm afraid. My spear will pierce your skin--and your heart. Farewell in whatever hell you find yourself in, Mordi." He dashed forward through the air, stabbing the spear towards her.
Mordi nimbly twirled out of the way, the grace in her movement making it seem like it was nothing more than a simple dance. She was not usually so graceful in her movements, but... "From a dark, squashed mirror, "Come,"~"
"Hold still!" He dashed towards her, but her absolute control over the earth this song granted her was not something to be taken lightly, as a wall of earth shot up between the two of them, stretching far into the air. "Dammit!"
"It slowly beckons...~" Her control over the earth regularly was already something to fear, but in performing this song, she assumed absolute control over the earth and everything that contained it. She could skip a rock across a pond with perfect accuracy on the other side of the world without missing a step. "The scroll that opens by itself, the glass castle...~
The staggering blackened dream...~
" She took a few steps forward, earth below Xeno shooting up and catching both his arms and pulling him down to the ground as he neared her. "The crazy story makes me dizzy, because it is so loud..." She continued, shifting her foot on the earth and sending a spike of earth up and through Xeno's heart. In response, he broke the earth around his arms and ripped the earth from his heart. She knew that wouldn't stop him. "Everything is buried alive and piled up~
The sleep of eternity...~
" The earth around the two was slowly beginning to pull itself fully together, restoring it to a perfectly healed state. And yet, there was still more that needed to heal... "The tunnel engulfs when tranquility is felt...~" Xeno's thrust grazed her shoulder, causing a good deal of blood and a gash. "...!" She shook her head, stomping and sending a plume of quicksand out of the earth, attaching to Xeno and pulling him down. "Th...The world that forgot the two~" She continued, inhaling sharply. "The dream that was brought back by the whispering...
Breaking the dark despair as time passes...
" The destruction that had spread beyond the Marvel City area began to fully mend itself, and the earth seemed effectively saved once more. "Everything is buried alive and piled... up..." Her time was short... she knew it. The hourglass was almost... "Feeling the reviving breeze..."

Xeno shot up out of the earth. In the next moment, he thrust the witch-killing spear directly into her midsection, causing Mordi to gasp, coughing up blood. "Your time... is up."
"......" Mordi took a deep breath. "One day... to fly away... upon a white awakening..." And with that, the song was ended.
A surge of energy shot out around her, covering the entire planet and fully mending its previous scars and washing the pain away. It also send Xeno flying away from her, spear-in-hand. "Mordi's song... is over..." She felt the hourglass finally reach its end.
And she collapsed onto the floor. "...Autumn..." She let out a sigh. "Mordi's song... is over... Mordi's life... is... over..." Her eyes slowly closed. "Autumn... I love you... thank you... for making Mordi's last day... so... nice..." She let out a pained shriek as Xeno stabbed the spear straight into her back.

"Die already." He ripped the spear out, stabbing it back into her four more times in rapid, murderous succession. "With you gone, no one can stand in my way again." The earth witch's blood seeped out of her, as she slowly felt her life escaping her. She knew this was her fate the moment she began to sing that forbidden song. She couldn't survive it a second time... "You have my respect for being able to stop my world-destruction not once, but twice. Now perish like the obnoxious insect you are."

"...Hmm?" Xeno ripped his spear out of the dead witch. He heard something that sounded like... a horse incoming. Looking back, he saw... Ephraim... on a horse... charging very quickly towards him. Well, that was disconcerting. "Faster than I expected. But no matter. They're too late." He began to fly into the air, fleeing the scene...
Unfortunately for Xeno, he didn't really understand who he was dealing with. As the horse continued to speed forward, he stood in a crouched position atop its saddle, and... right as he got close, he leaped up, grabbing Xeno by the ankle.
"What in the-?!" Xeno really didn't understand who he was dealing with.
As they were already starting to drift downwards from the sudden weight increase, Ephraim used his strength to hurl Xeno down towards the ground, landing down on his feet as the "angel" crashed down. "I'm going to kill you." He stepped forward, and Xeno thrust his spear upwards towards Ephraim. Ephraim grabbed it by the shaft, raising his spear and stabbing it ruthlessly down on Xeno's shoulder. Stomping onto Xeno's chest, he grabbed him by that arm, ripping it entirely out-of-socket and pulling it away from his torso completely, throwing it to the side. He then raised the Siegmund again, stabbing it down into the so-called angel several more times ruthlessly, before stabbing it directly into his throat.
"......" Xeno's entire body began to slow, and he seemed to be losing his life--or what was left of it. "This... is not... the end... I always come back..." And with that, his body went limp, as his life faded away.
Ripping the spear from the dead body, Ephraim turned, hurrying over to Mordi. "Mordi! Mordi!!" He turned her around onto her back, lifting her slightly. "Mordi! Say something! ...Mordi..." It was clear that she was dead. She was bleeding profusely from her midsection, and blood was seeping out of her mouth. "Gods... this can't..." How could he let this happen? What sort of father was he...?
"Mordi!" Elcrest staggered forward, forcing himself to keep going despite his pain and exhaustion. "Mordi! No! Mordi!!" He collapsed down onto his knees beside her. "This can't be happening... If only I knew, I could have prevented this!! I could have-"
"It isn't your fault," Ephraim said as he stared down at his daughter's lifeless face. "I'm her father. I should have protected her... I should never have let this happen..."
"King Ephraim..."
"...."

A shadowy figure appeared to stop suddenly above Ephraim and Elcrest, that someone was Autumn. Someone who wasn't in anyway, prepared for this moment. Dropping down, she just stood there, looking down at the blood-covered sight of...Mordi. Autumns silence and unmoving body made it clear the young mage was in a great deal of shock.
"...T-This isn't funny...You don't have to go so extreme of your c-clones, Mordi..!! " She was deathly nervous, something told her, this wasn't really one of her specially formed clones. She tried very hard NOT to believe it was the real Mordi. "Mordi...?! Come out, NOW! I don't like this trick of yours...You don't have to hide anymore!! " It was quite heart breaking to hear her like this, in such belief that the lifeless figure there wasn't really the person she only JUST opened up her heart to. There was no way.
But then, as she began to look around, hoping, praying that Mordi would suddenly pop out of the earth near by, what she saw fading slowly away caused her to freeze again, before a moment later, her hands began to shake and her heart race. It almost felt as though she would pass out from the sudden realization of the truth she didn't want to face or believe.
Slowly, she turned away from Xeno's fading form, to look down at Mordi's quickly paling face. A clone couldn't lose color, it couldn't lose..life..
She fell to her knees, tears suddenly falling from her eyes. "She was...just..with me.....You were just...with me..Mordi! " Her trembling hands came to rest over Mordi's arm suddenly, as a familiar golden light emitted from Autumns palms, holy energy flowing into her body. What she expected from healing her was some sort of miracle, heals didn't exactly..revive. She still seemed to be in doubt this was all real.

"No matter if my memories ever come back to me... no matter if I stay Elcrest, or become someone completely different...
I'll always cherish this bond we share. Always."

"..." Elcrest slowly forced himself up, turning as more of the family and friends began to gather. "Mordi saved the world..." He said. "She's done it twice now... once in our time, and she just did again..."
"..." Reiner glanced at him. "Once in our time...? I don't remember that..."
"...I never knew until just recently." He said. "It was when I fought Xeno... He had begun the world's destruction at that time, but I managed to defeat him. After I did, the world's destruction had stopped. Everyone assumed it was because I took him down, even myself, but..." He looked down at the lifeless witch. "...Mordi was the one who mended the destroyed earth. If she hadn't been there, we'd all be dead. The world would've been destroyed." He clenched his fists. "And somehow... I never knew. None of us did. When I think back, her depression began around that time too..." His face fell. "She must have been suffering in silence for so long, too afraid to tell anyone what she did..."
"...M...Mordi..." Reiner turned away, covering his eyes. "Gods, this can't be happening..." He was trembling, trying to keep himself from crying. "I was always so rude to her... I always treated her so badly... And after she did so much for all of us. I always called her awkward, and I-I..." His voice began to tremble. "I said no one would want to be around her... What's wrong with me?! Mordi... Oh god, Mordi... I'm so sorry..." He couldn't stop the tears... "Why couldn't I have realized it sooner...? This is bullshit! Why does Mordi have to die to save all of us for the SECOND time?! Nero! Don't you care about this?! I know you can hear me! She just saved the world! DO SOMETHING!" ...But there was no reaction. "....God!..."
"...." Alistair stared down at his unmoving, lifeless sister. "...Mordi... I didn't... even know..." Saved the world? Twice, now...? "Out of the goodness of her heart... even when no one was watching... even when no one noticed the first time she did it... that takes strong character. I didn't know Mordi had such determination. I underestimated her..."

Since the beginning, of course Niki was with Elcrest, and she remained with him in his own struggle to get here despite his own pain and exhaustion. Even if she could do nothing to help, she wanted to be there, if even to give her support. ...But that support wasn't fast enough. And here she was, standing before lifeless twins body. She couldn't even think, her body was struck with the same shock Autumn was feeling. "...We all...seemed to..leave her out of things...We were always...to busy with our own lives, to involve her....She's always alone...isn't she? "
"The truth hurts. Doesn't it? You fools..Listen to you! " ..And there she was, the company no one wanted, Celina. "All the years you people ignored her, tossed her to the side like some plague. All of you are responsible. " She glanced at Elcrest a moment. "You are correct, but suffering is a light word to use for what she went through all these years. And now, she's gone...And only now you pretend to care? What a joke of a family you are. Fake love, is what you have. " She turned to Autumn now. "And you, how does it feel now? Now you know just how useless you are. You let her die, had she accepted me, you wouldn't be planning her burial " Ouch. "You all should live this day in eternity, Live with the guilt of abandoning your sister! " She directed toward the siblings of Mordi, before suddenly, she was gone. She just had to plant the seed of guilt in each of their hearts.

It wasn't long after Celina ran away just after crushing them a little more, that the rest of the family would rush their way to the ..scene. Both Azura and Serena, who had been previously out at sea when they felt the terrible feeling that would lead them here. From far away, there was also someone else who came to the scene, but...remained unseen, hidden by the tree's..

Alistair

"It's all for you..."

User Image

"....." Alistair raised his arm. "I never understood you, Mordi. I never knew how selfless you were. How much you've done... But I suppose that was part of your strength, wasn't it?" A sigil appeared below Mordi--a powerful one, emitting pure, holy energy. "Someone who saved us all without ever hearing any thanks or praise... I think there's none better-suited."
"I am inclined to agree," Came a voice from above, as suddenly six beings descended, floating just above the scene. "Mordi... I always thought she would be perfect." Artemis said with a smile.
"Oh, did you? This mud-princess who spends most of her time sleeping? And she's dead now, no less. THIS is who you're suggesting, Alistair?" The bothered elf asked.
"I am. My mind is made."
"Well, you heard the man."
"Did you hear ME when I said she's DEAD? What do you expect us to do, make her into a voodoo doll?"
"The ascension has been done to those recently departed, has it not? And it's one of the few ceremonies that can revive someone."
"...Well, that is true, but... that was a very special situation. And Mordi's soul has left her body--she performed one of the forbidden songs. She knew what would happen. Even the ascension cannot bring her back."
"Uh...." Elcrest cleared his throat. "Can someone explain what's going on...?"
"Quiet, mortal."
"Excuse me?"
Artemis smacked the elf in the head with his staff. "My pardons. I know this is a difficult moment for you all... We don't mean to intrude. I am Artemis Lylatt, one of the sons of Nero Lylatt. We come representing the council of High Serenitians."
"High Serenitians?! What in the world are you doing here?" Reiner asked, flabbergasted.
"Well..." He put a hand to his chin. "It is not my place to disclose all the details, but-"
"Why are we still here, Artemis? Her soul is gone. There's nothing that can bring her back."
"I'm perfectly aware of your stance on the matter, but it matters not. This is who Alistair picked. And... I have a strange feeling this may work."
"It's not going to."
"Try." Artemis raised his arm, a gentle light pouring out and towards Mordi's form. The elf sighed in exasperation, but did the same, as did the other four.
"...." Mordi suddenly inhaled sharply--violently--and began to breathe heavily, her eyes darting around in confusion. "...?!"
"What...?!" The elf--as well as all the others there who weren't Artemis--seemed visibly surprised. "But that's impossible!"
"Clearly it isn't,"
"Mordi? Mordi, can you hear me?!"
"Mordi should be... dead..." She struggled to say. "Mordi hurts... what's... going on..."
"Mordi, listen carefully," Artemis said. "Everyone has been made aware of your deeds. Your heroics. You've saved this world not once, but twice. And in your own time, no one knew. But now they do."
"They... do...?" Mordi's eyes widened. "R... really?"
"You're amazing, Mordi. To have done all that and suffered in silence for so long after... I'm so sorry we never knew."
"I should have known. I should have figured out what was wrong. I'm sorry, Mordi. You've made me so very proud."
"....." Mordi's mouth hung open for a moment. Her heart was... soaring, in a way. And it seemed like a serious weight was finally lifting from her mind. Finally, they knew... finally... She had to wonder if she really was dead, and this was heaven.
"Mordi, you should be dead right now. But you've been recommended to join the ranks of the High Serenitians, and-"
"What?!" Mordi's eyes widened. "Th-there must be... some mistake! Mordi isn't qualified to be... that..."
"You were strong enough to mend a destroyed planet not once, but twice. You've saved the world more than once, and you had the emotional strength to carry the burden of no one knowing for years. I'd say you're more than qualified." He smiled.
"Artemis... What do you know?"
"King Ephraim, everyone, please take a few steps back. It is rare that we perform the ascension outside of Apotheosis, but this is a special occasion." Artemis and the other High Serenitians joined hands, standing in a circle around Mordi. The holy power they emanated was severe, and it was all encircling Mordi. "As commanded by the first high god of Serenity, the High Serenitians will strive to be a force of good, and will act in accordance with their own belief of right and wrong. The power bestowed upon those in this position is an honor, and should never be used as a tool to gain power or fame. So long as you live as a High Serenitian, you exist for yourself, your family, and those who cannot defend themselves. Princess Mordi, second daughter of King Ephraim of Renais and Princess Azura of Heaven's Descent, you have shown yourself to be worthy of this position. And so, with our power--and our blessing--you are granted the title of High Serenitian and all the power and knowledge that comes with that title." A radiant light surrounded the circle, engulfing Mordi in pure healing light.
"..." Mordi slowly floated up as she felt the power wash over her. It was so... liberating. The weight of depression had finally left her mind, and she was left with a sincere, genuine smile. They all knew... and they all accepted her... And she was even being granted this, the highest honor a Serenitian could attain.
She felt so... happy...
And suddenly, a sort of brilliant golden cocoon enveloped her form entirely.

"...?!??" All the High Serenitians suddenly stopped their ritual, all seeming shocked. "What in the world is happening?!"
"I-I don't know, I've never seen this!"
"Is she alright?!"
Artemis wore a knowing smile. "Yes. She most certainly is." He had a hunch for a long time...
"Dammit, Artemis! What do you know? Just what is this girl?! She should have been dead! How was anything able to revive her? Even the ascension can't bring back someone who's lost their soul!"
"You're mistaken, Quinaro," Artemis said simply.
"...Artemis is right... I can't believe it." Alistair put a hand to his chin. "This is unreal. I never expected Mordi..."
"What? What are you talking about?!"
"You are correct that most people cannot be revived once their soul has been lost. However, there is one type of being who can. Their existence is absolute."
"Absolute?! What are you-" Quinaro's eyes widened, and his mouth went agape. "That-that... that can't be... she's a mud princess! She plays with DIRT! It's an insult she'd even be made a High Serenitian, but now you're telling me..."
Artemis just wore his knowing smile in response, as he watched the golden cocoon.

"Mordi will protect everyone..."

User Image

...And in mere moments, the cocoon would slowly open, Mordi stretching out from a fetal position, stretching all of her limbs out as she floated there in front of everyone, as though she were stretching from waking up from a nap. "Mor..." She was adorned from head-to-toe in a much different outfit--this one looked surprisingly royal. As she neared the ground, her feet didn't touch it--instead she floated there, just above the ground. "..." She looked around, blinking, before looking down. "...?" When did her clothes change?
"This presence... there's no denying it." Artemis smiled. "Well, everyone, I present to you Mordi--The Earth Goddess."
"......" Mordi blinked. "...." Her face went to one of complete and utter shock as what he said finally registered. "G-goddess?! That's... some sort of... title, right? You don't actually... Mordi isn't..."
"Mordi, I am a demigod. You think I wouldn't know divine presence when I feel it?" And indeed, all the Serenitians gathered there would be able to feel it as well--Mordi's presence had been altered. It did still feel like Mordi, but it also felt... divine. Like Nero's, or Cosmos'.
"Th-this can't be real..." Mordi said, her face a mix of shock and horror. "Mordi would make a terrible goddess! She still speaks in the third person sometimes...!"
Artemis chuckled. "Settle down, Mordi. You don't have any immediate responsibilities as a goddess. You are not quite on the level of my father. Your powers have been amplified greatly, however."
"...You're right..." She looked down at her hands, and without even touching the ground she still floated above, an exceptionally large pillar of earth shot out of the ground. "...I... feel like I have the same power that I did when I sang Dark Labyrinth..." The forbidden song that had killed her... it amplified her powers to an extraordinary degree, and gave her absolute control over the earth. And now... she had that sort of power... regularly?
"How the hell could you have known, Artemis?"
"I've suspected she had dormant divine blood for a while now, actually," Artemis said. "But I knew she would never reach this potential until she managed to overcome her depression. After learning more about what had happened here, it seemed like the time may have finally come to reach her full potential. Her revival at the beginning of the ascension only cemented my theory as fact."
"Oh. Great. So the princess who plays in mud gets to be a goddess. Yeah, that makes sense. What an insult. My people have-" Suddenly, the elf was covered all the way up to his neck in rock--not hurting him but just kinda keeping him in place and making it difficult for him to talk. "...Thas nhot fhunny Mhordi."
Mordi giggled a bit, but released him. "Sorry." ...Wow, how long had it been since she actually just casually giggled like that? ...Honestly, she felt so... different. So much better. Which was ironic since she had been dead only a short time ago.
"Anyway, gods can't be in romantic relationships for at least five years after they achieve divinity. So break it off with your little witch friend."
"Five years?" Mordi's face fell into an exasperated look. "What a stupid rule."
"Stupid-?! It's been a sacred law for ages, and it's always been upheld! You show some respect-"
"Who has the power to change rules like that...?"
"Only gods can change the rules that govern-"
"Then I'm getting rid of it."
"...You... can't... just... Argh! You're insufferable! I'm leaving!" And leave he did, vanishing completely from the area, along with all the other High Serenitians except Artemis.
"..." Artemis chuckled. "Nothing gets in the way of love, I suppose. I know that better than anyone," his lover was a Reaper, after all. "I'll fill you in more on what it means to be a High Serenitian, and a goddess, another time. You can feel Apotheosis now, right? Come there when you'd like to know more. For now, I think there are some people waiting for you. So I'll let you go. Have fun." He gave a little wave, before he, too, vanished.
"..." Apotheosis... she did feel it. It seemed so disjointed from everything else she could feel up 'til now. But she supposed that was intentional. "...Um..." She stepped forward. "Mordi's... back... sorry if I made anyone sad..." She held her arms behind her back. "...Mordi's a goddess... apparently... The Earth Goddess... That's so weird..." To say she never expected to be referred to as a goddess was quite the understatement...

There was a whole lot of utter silence, as it seemed the same affect of shock went on to all the girls. One moment, tears filled all of their eyes, and the next, those tears turned into happy ones. Soon,it was a whole lot of mixtures of emotions, from confusion to even more surprises as Mordi was ascended into the High Serenitians rank. Total shocker, but the real mind blower was what title got added onto her new status. Goddess. Yes, who would have ever expected that one to come up?! Though, had Mordi's siblings REALLY paid attention to her enough, and really got to understand her abilities, it might not of been so surprising. At least, it wasn't to Autumn, not as surprising as it was to the completely shocked sisters of hers.
Autumn took a step forward....
Only to have a smaller blue blur zip past her, who quickly latched herself to her sister.
".....Moooordi...! Hey-hey! " It was hard to believe Erina was in tears only moments ago. "...If your a Goddess, you can transfer power to other people, too, right?! Give me some too! We together, can bring destruction to all the nasties of the world! Destruction! Chaos! We'll scare every baddie outta'town so bad, the world will be at peace for all eternity! " ....Yes, the world should pray that this girl NEVER got high power, lord knows what true chaos would come had she gotten a hold of real power!
"....." One could almost see the sweat drop over the heads of the girls, Autumn created that monster, she really did. "Sorry.." Autumn laughed nervously, reaching over to pull Erina away from Mordi..But that only opened up yet another space for Niki to slip her way over, and hug her tightly causing Autumn to frown, she wanted to be the first one to hug her!
Poor Mordi would find herself in a hug attack, coming from all sides from not only Niki, but Azura and Serena too. The pink haired one was becoming a little irritated, how did they move so fast!

"Mordi.....Thank goodness...you're okay.." Came a familiar voice, the voice of yet another of her sisters,Bella, though this one wasn't exactly the most sociable one in the world. At least not since coming to this time, she hadn't even revealed herself, and seemed to want to keep it that way for a while longer. "..Congratulations...on your new title...It suits you, the earth has always been a part of you." She would just sit in her perfect hidden location and have a nice conversation with Mordi, without being a disturbance. It was quite perfect!

"Mordi will protect everyone..."

Mordi blinked as the excitable Erina attached onto her. "Um... hey-hey." She said in response. "...Um... Mordi doesn't think she has that kind of power..." Though honestly she didn't know the full extent of her power whatsoever. She felt so light on her feet, and the power she had was... unimaginable only a few hours prior. She had always had a deep connection to the earth, but it was on an entirely different scale now.
"Waah!" She almost fell off-balance when her family suddenly charged her to hug her. "Mor..." This was... different. It felt like no time ago that she felt rejected within her own family. But thinking on it now, she probably only believed those things due to her depression. She wasn't easy to talk to of course, but that didn't mean her family didn't love her. "Ah, th-thank you, but- er, Mordi is- ahh-" This was a lot of affection, but... "Err, sorry-" All those latched onto her would suddenly feel themselves slide over the earth a bit away from her. "Um, let's continue in a moment..." She was still the same old awkward Mordi, it seemed. Her eyes fixed on Autumn, and she took a few steps towards her. "...Mordi is sorry." She said, lowering her head. "Right when you... right when we... I did something that I knew would kill me. I just... didn't know a better way." And needless to say she didn't have a lot of time to formulate a better plan. She looked up to look Autumn in the eyes. "Mordi wanted to save this world Autumn lived in. Mordi's family, Autumn's family... but most of all... Mordi wanted to protect the one who's always been her friend. You've always been there for me..." There were few times Mordi could remember when she was sad that Autumn didn't come to try and cheer her up. "It must have been so annoying... dealing with me when I was depressed... Sorry. Mordi is over that now. Mordi wants to live for this world and those who live here. Mordi wants to live, and protect everyone... but most of all..." She took Autumn's hand in her two hands. "Mordi wants to live for us... if... Autumn is still okay with that..." Indeed, she clearly had no qualms about her family and everyone gathered knowing exactly what was going on between herself and Autumn. If anything, she was proud to have Autumn as her girlfriend, if she agreed.
Mordi blinked as she heard a voice in her head. She looked around a bit, but realized shortly after the owner of the voice was in hiding. ...You should come out, Bella. Mordi might... take offense if you don't hug her. She replied, obviously being playful. Not something Mordi often did before this day... Mordi is happy to have a closer connection to the earth, but... Goddess... that's so... strange... Mordi herself could hardly believe it. She WOULDN'T believe it if she couldn't personally feel how drastic her power had increased. And of course, there was divinity in her presence--and her blood, now.

One could guess the disappointment in Erina as her dreams came crashing down on her. No power for her!
But never mind her, All of Mordi's gathered family would enjoy a short land..slide, as they were pushed away from her.It really was quite humorous, and Autumn had to keep herself from snickering herself! It could only mean she was up in line next, unless Ephraim got in her way. Would he dare get in her way next? It seemed the guys were a lot more tame then the girls in their family. So her spot was sure to come up soon.
And so it did! Autumn glanced away for only a moment, only to see Mordi walking toward her the moment she looked back. Her eyes seemed to light up, and a smile quickly replaced her jealous frown. "..Mordi...um.." What was this? A sudden moment of a blank mind. Suddenly, nothing she thought of saying really seemed proper. What was she to say after such a intensely horrible situation? Only a few moments ago, she lost the one person she held most dear in her heart, the beginning of the worst day of her life. But now, it was like it never happened, and instead, a true beginning of the best days of her life to come the moment Mordi was returned to life. "..Wha--, Hey! ..You don't..have to apologize..for.." Okay, she really would just rather forget that part forever. The thought of losing Mordi again was really unbearable. "......Your back, that's all that matters now...Your alive and safe..and the best of all....We can continue to be together, r-right?" She didn't think anything changed since...their brief moment, but there was always that worry in her mind that something somehow might take that away. Like the mean elf she wanted to punch in the face earlier. It was luck he rushed away, to avoid such a terrible fate! He clearly wanted to stop their relationship before it ever got a real chance! "....I..understand that you had no time to really work up a plan that involved everyone's help...but, you have to promise me now, if something ever comes up again...You won't run off to fight it by yourself? No matter how much power you have now, I still want you to let us all know. Let us fight together with you..There will always be those enemies who seek out your very power, once the word gets out. " She was almost sure that hell would start. Especially Reapers, who loved to seek the most powerful Serenitians. Autumn paused, letting Mordi continue to speak, a faint blush creeping upon her cheeks. "...Always will continue to be, even if now you really don't seem to need me! " Her tone was playful, of course. Mordi was a High Serenitian and Earth Goddess, clearly, her chances of ever being helpful to Mordi ever were very, very slim now! She was barely ever very helpful before all this, as far as battle. "..Annoying? No, Mordi is never, could never, be annoying to me..." Her voice softened. " Love is..accepting every fault, and working through it all no matter what. I wouldn't of ever given up on you. Never.." She said seriously. She was thrilled of course, that she was now, finally after so long, over her depression. Now Autumn had something else to look forward to, a smiling face, even laughter, from someone she wanted to see happy since the beginning.
The next moment, Autumn blinked as her hand was taken into Mordi's own, her eyes meeting the new goddess's own blue ones. That small blush moments ago? It seemed to intensify. "If..i'm okay with that..? " Suddenly Mordi would feel her hands empty, as Autumn gently slipped her hand away, only to wrap her arms around her into a gentle embrace, holding her extra close.. It didn't seem like she was to worried about everyone there, ether. All that mattered to her now, was Mordi.
"...Um..I-I think you might be..a little pre-occupid as it is? I really think this might not be the best time. Can I ..hug you later? " God she sounded so silly! "Just enjoy your moment with Autumn and everyone. I promise I will come see you, and everyone at home.."

"...Mordi was gonna ask you that." Mordi responded as Autumn asked if they could continue to be together. "Is it weird now that Mordi is a..." Honestly, she could barely even say it it was so bizarre to her. "Isn't your aunt a goddess too..? ...This is all so strange... Why would Mordi be called a goddess? Mordi doesn't suit a title like that." She looked down, inspecting her interesting new outfit. "Does Mordi look silly in this...? It's a bit more... regal than what I usually wear... but it's not so bad..." She honestly really liked this outfit, but it was certainly different. "Though now Mordi's small body is even more noticeable... Mordi will never look like her mother..." It didn't take much brain power to put together what she meant there. Poor Mordi. Looking back up to her, she paused a moment. "...Mordi will do her best... but sometimes Mordi has to react before it's too late. I don't know if anyone else could've done anything..." She blinked, shaking her head. "Mordi needs Autumn now more than ever. I don't know what I'll have to do now, being what I am... it'll probably be stressful. But Mordi is never stressed around Autumn. ...U-um, well, I kinda was earlier, but... in a good way..." "Stress" might not have been a good word for what she was feeling at that time...
"Mordi will never give up on Autumn, either. I'll always protect you. I hope that... doesn't bother you." But needless to say she had always been stronger than Autumn, and now... well, yeah. She blinked as Autumn suddenly pulled her into an embrace--but she returned it just as lovingly. Indeed, they weren't exactly hiding how they felt about each other. Even though Mordi was slightly worried about how people may respond.
If you don't come out soon, Mordi will make you, She said into Bella's mind, as though that were some high threat! It's not like anyone's gonna be annoyed by you being here...

"Hmm? " Autumn blinked, her face falling into a brief moment of puzzlement. "Did you think I wouldn't want to be, because of this...little added bonus of your new status? Silly! Your still Mordi to me, nothing can change that. No title is going to change who you are, or change how I feel about you. " She leaned a little closer, whispering softly. "Mordi has always been my goddess..and the girl I love." She said to her with a playful, cutesy wink.
"Yeah, my crazy aunt. It's hard to believe she's a goddess at all! The failure of goddess's everywhere! " She kind of was a bit of a failure sometimes, but she did have her moments of actually living up to the title. Cosmos was just naturally a goofy young woman, there would be no changing that, much like Autumn was goofy and would likely always be!

"I think it looks pretty on you. Befitting of the even more beautiful one wearing it. " Autumn nodded, only to giggle a moment at her next words. "Don't worry about that. Like I said before, Mordi is perfect the way she is. " At her next words, Autumn nodded slowly. She didn't like it, but, it kind of was true, and Autumn knew that too. With her abilities, it wasn't hard for her to get places almost instantly, where as others would only hold her back. "...That's why I have to perfect my teleporting magic, so I can always keep up with you.." Or gather more help, if need be.
"Well, you have me now. Don't worry about hurting my feelings if I start to pester you to much, though. " She grinned at her. "I'll try not to be -to- annoying!" She was of course, just playing. They spent their lives growing up together, Mordi would probably be so used to Autumn she wouldn't even notice when she was being annoying! "I'll be here for you, always.." Unless her teleporting ended up throwing her to the moon again!
"Ha,ha...that was..a good kind of stress, huh? " That sounded way more extreme then it really was! Knowing Autumn, she was trying to give a scare to the others listening in.
"I mean...I want to protect you too, even if I probably really can't do the best job at it, especially now, but, it doesn't mean I wont try if you need help.." She shook her head. "Of course, I uh, wouldn't be bothered of your..protecting me.." It might feel a little strange, but in truth it really would never bother her, if anything, she secretly liked it, like a certain pink-haired mother of hers. Just not quite so extreme!
"...I said...I would??" Oh, why did she bother. Mordi wasn't going to let her off the hook here it seemed. "I'm only trying to give you space to spend with them? ..oh, fine..! T-this feels awkward..." Why was it awkward to meet her past parents? That must of been it. Slowly, she got to her feet. At the least, their parents were faced toward Mordi, so their backs were to her. Good! That made this...a little...easier.

Or did it? ...It seemed like forever until she managed to start slowly walking into everyone's direction...so...slowly..! Bella was certainly a strange one.

"Well... that's... a relief..." Mordi said with a similarly relieved sigh. "Mordi isn't even sure herself what to feel... You're so incredible to not be shaken at all." It was quite the drastic change. But of course, it did happen to Mordi, so it made sense she would be the most surprised by it. "Eh...?!" She blinked, her face suddenly going into a familiar red color. "U-um...! M-Mordi... feels the same way about Autumn... And you're... more than a goddess in my eyes..." Honestly, she did make mud and sand sculptures of her in the past, so that might not be that far off.
Mordi put a finger to her chin, looking upwards for a moment. "Nero... Cosmos... Mordi... one of these things... is not like the others." That could technically apply to all three of them, as Nero was a male, Cosmos was really pretty wild, and Mordi wasn't nearly as confident as the other two. "Is Nero a failure of a god too...?" She didn't know Nero that well... A funnel shot out from the earth, catching the very deadly spiked-ball as it appeared above-head and began to fall towards Mordi. The funnel caught it, rolling it into the earth and out-of-sight entirely. "I heard he liked to do that trick..." Dropping things on people's heads. Usually they were a lot more soft and less deadly, though.
"B-beautiful?" Mordi shook her head, pointing at herself. "You mean Mordi? I-I don't think that's... accurate..." She was a lot less self-conscious now, but she still didn't see herself as being beautiful. At all. "Autumn must be looking into a mirror...!" Her next words caused Mordi to pout. "Autumn doesn't understand the struggle. I bet you have an amazing body you're hiding really well." She poked her in the shoulder. "Though it would be amazing no matter what it looked like. ...Because it's yours..." These two certainly were pretty love-struck with each other, weren't they? Mordi had always been that way with her, though... "Mordi admires the modesty of Autumn's outfit, though... it makes you seem so... mature and elegant..." Two words that did not fit Autumn whatsoever. "Ein and Aria could be a bit more like you in that department.... Mordi could too..." Mordi's outfits always showed her midriff, which was pretty revealing for such an innocent witch. Or goddess, now. "Autumn couldn't annoy Mordi... I love listening to you talk. ...Mordi isn't good at talking... Autumn fills the usually empty space really well..." No kidding. "Mhm. Mordi will be here for you, too. Just try not to end up on the moon again. Mordi might have trouble getting there." Was that a tease Mordi just did.
"...The best kind..." Mordi said, feeling herself blush a bit more. "Mordi wouldn't mind having that kind of stress... more often..." It was a wonder if Mordi was just really innocently genuine or if she was trying to scare the others as well. "...Good. Mordi was gonna protect you anyway, though. Whether you like it or not..." She smiled softly. "Maybe you should... inherit Teresa's outlook on that... because you'll need to get used to it." Because she'd always protect her as long as she was able, she figured. Then again, it was typically like that before now anyway--but she now had even more power to do it with.
...Bella doesn't have to come out if she doesn't want to... Mordi responded to her bizarrely-behaving sister. Just do what you're comfortable with... but... don't wait too long... She wanted to respect her wishes, though.
