Taking a seat with the man the pair of them relaxed back and enjoyed a drink atop the vigil as the man's relief came and set him for a break. Masahiro though was not in such high spirits, but instead enjoyed the drink after the hot visit of crossing the desert.

As the fleet became no more than a blip on the horizon, Bast took a deep breath. She cleared her mind, letting her thoughts flow out with the air in her lungs. The map she had pulled out disappeared in a puff of smoke. They had successfully defended the Village against the UHV threat, but now came the hard part: the preparation for the counterattack. She hopped down off the top of the Crevice, felt around for San's Chakra, and headed that way. Ayame's summons were moot at this point; they needed to fortify both their offense and defense, and talking to the Kage could wait.

-----From above would come the flapping of wings, a large shadow that blocked out the son for several moments before there was a gentle thud nearby. There, Jack landed atop the great butterfly known as Befreety, one that Ayame would remember from the first time she had met Jack. The great insect was large, large enough for only a few people to be able to ride at once, and it was beautiful. Sliding off of the back, Jack touched the side of Befreety's frame with a gentleness that suggested a long acquaintance, though that was most definitely not the case. Looking towards the Kazekage, Jack took his cane from under his other arm and placed its tip upon the earth, his gaze and stance suggesting he planned to wait for her to come over. Raising his voice, Jack decided to explain. "Befreety is uncertain of you, as you carry the scent of serpents upon you. She will carry you only if you refrain from summoning or carrying anything of similar nature with you, which should not be an issue considering we travel in peace." The words were calmly spoken, without any emotional tones other than contentedness.

Walking up to the entrance of Suna Hikari noticed the Kage speaking with a shinobi from another village she. Whatever the problem was, if there was one at all, she was sure the Kage would be able to take care of it. Removing herself from the area she headed towards her next destination. James strode out of the gate with Keir in tow, the giant cat matching James attitude of "Step to me." the two gave the Suna gates some space, and with a few handseals from James, took to the air. They would both fly off in a rush.

Bast approached the Gates at a leisurely pace, looking as though she had recently woken up from a terrific nap. With a yawn, she waved over one of the guards.
"I'm headed for Konoha," she told him. "My summoning seal should be around somewhere, if I'm needed. If anyone asks where I am, you're to tell them I'm brokering a deal with the Leaf for some wood. Got all that?"
The guard nodded and leaped back into position. The woman nodded and made sure her flask was full before she headed out; it wouldn't do to be caught in the desert without something to drink.

Mononoke and the Princess, two of Bast's golems, walked wordlessly to the outside of the Gates. The former produced and unfurled a small scroll, from which their creator popped in a cloud of smoke. The woman congratulated them on a job well done and handed the Princess a sheet of paper with a hastily scribbled summoning seal on it. When one of the guards came down to see what was going on, she explained:
"Konoha will be reverse-summoning a large shipment of wood and possibly Gelel stones to that seal. One of these golems will fetch me when it arrives, and the other will transport the mess inside the Village. I advise you keep an eye out for any strangeness, but it should be fine."
So saying, the woman retreated to the shade just inside the crevice, sat down, and took a swig of tea. Without much to do, she decided to doze while she waited.

Reaching the Crevice, Theodin looked around and didn’t see San yet, so went to chill under a nearby shade tree. Leaning his staff against the tree for a minute, Theo carefully concealed his new projectiles, explosives, and smoke pellets within his pockets and arranged them so that they wouldn’t clink and jingle with every step he took. Once he was all set, he grabbed his staff and leaned against the tree, bracing one foot up against it and let the staff lean into his shoulder as he waited for his teacher to arrive to give him the details so that they could head out.

Koneko skipped past everyone making her way to the crevice where everyone left to go on missions outside the village. She noticed a young man leaning against a tree. He seemed to be waiting for someone but she wasn't sure who. Tilting her head to the side she looked at him with a bit of curiosity. Wondering about him and all, what did the guy use for elements, how old was he, so many questions filled her head as she watched him. Turning around she wondered what was keeping the rest of them. Shaking her head slightly she crossed her arms around her dolly and around her chest as she stood there waiting for the rest of her team to catch up.

Kaori and Nova walked up to Koneko at the Crevice and looked around as they waited for the young medic to join them. Nova looked over at the white haired male leaning against a tree and smirked as she looked at Kaori, wondering if she caught the scent of the man and realized who he was. Kaori rolled her eyes at Nova and gave a poilte nod to Theodin, his scent was distinctive, even if her sense of smell wasn't as strong as her partner's was at the moment, she wouldn't say anything though. Clearly he had his own mission to go on that required subterfuge. She turned to Koneko,
"Do you have everything you'll need? And do you have your headband hidden? You might not be up for Chunnin promotion yet, but you'll get there soon enough, and this is as much a test for you as it is for Hikari. And my tiger-eyes miss very little when I'm paying attention.” She warned, though not unkindly. She wanted all her fellow shinobi to succeed, but she wasn't going to go easy on any of them either. Especially since her first mission was being thrown into a warzone practically unsupervised. They needed to toughen up a little, just like all Suna shinobi did.

Shortly after Kaori and Nova arrived at the entrance to Suna, so did Hikari. "I'm all ready when you are, Kaori-sensei." Hikari would notice Theodin but say nothing to him, instead she would give him a small nod to acknowledge his presence. Now was not the time for pleasantries.

She teased before she exited the Crevice with her little team. Nova butted her hip against Theodin as she passed him and stuck her tongue out as she followed her tamer.
