As soon as I walked out of Hermes cabin I screamed at the very top of my lungs. Everyone stared at me. I felt my face turn red. I ran of toward the stables. Too many people! I thought to my self.

Rex looked down at his new sister and said, "Hey, no worries. This place just needs some organizing and rules. And seeing as there is no real person in charge, I'll do it." He grinned widely, feeling proud at himself for being productive. Then, he turned, noticing a girl just turning her head right when he looked at her. Rex quickly turned back towards Brenn. "Hey, try organizing some of the bags around here, please?" He walked over to where the girl who had just glared at him lay. "Well, does someone not like me? Maybe we should get to know each other than," he said with a smile, waiting for her to turn around.

Ash, unclaimed Ash looked up at the boy. Why the hell is he talking to me? She thought, almost angrily. No, stop it, Ash argued with herself. He is trying to be friendly. With all this emotional turmoil going on in her head, she blushes. Say something, Ash."Umm, sorry about that," she manages to stammer.

"Hey, it's cool. I'm Rex," he introduced himself. Rex looked at her and saw her blush. "What's your name, anyway?" He kept smiling at her. He knelt by her bed, trying to get comfortable. Rex hoped to keep the conversation going.

Brenn laughed under her breath, and began dropping the bags from the pile in the middle of the floor to their respective owners. There wasn't anything special in them either. Nothing worth the effort of taking, she thought, though she did swipe a pack of gum and a hair elastic, just to alleviate the tediousness of the task. She paused to wipe her forehead.
Jeez, I can't even hold my brother's attention for two minutes... she thought as she watched him walk over to a pretty girl with brown-streaked-red hair and tattoos decorating her forearms. She had a petite stature and large golden-brown eyes. Not that I want the attention, but... she looked at herself in the window's reflection. She was tall at five feet and ten inches. Her ash-brown hair wasn't anything special, and her eyes were plain hazel, with the silvery-gray ring around the pupil the only thing halfway "special". She had earrings at one point, but they grew over, and she was left with being mistaken for a boy a majority of the time. Straightening up, she looked back over at the son of Hephaestus who had mistaken her as such and groaned, running her hand through her hair. I'm not cut out for being girly, not even if I tried.
Reaching into her own bag, which she had kept on her person at all times for precaution in the cabin, her hand met air instead of the familiar rope of her charm. Pulling it out, she felt a chill run down her neck. Oh sh- I must have dropped it by the lake! Checking to make sure she had sufficiently cleared all the bags, she looked around for a moment. Fighting to keep her breath even, she moved quickly over to Rex. Avoiding intruding on the conversation, she dropped her bag on the floor by him, scrawling 'WATCH THIS' on a stolen scrap of paper from one of the other kids' bags. He's probably the only one I can trust with my stuff around here, she thought as she ran out the door, jumping to clear the stairs.
How ironic is that?!

Ash, unclaimed " Ash. My name is Ash," she replied smiling despite herself. She didn't think anyone could resist that smile of his. It probably helps when he is stealing stuff from the unsuspecting townsfolk. Ash almost chuckled at the thought. She saw one of his sisters approach him, then dumped a bag at his feet and handing him a note before running out of the room. Ash stared after her curiously.

Rex looked at the bag really quick as his sister as she palaced her bag next to him. He tucked it beside him, so no one would touch it. Then, he turned back to Ash. "So, mind if I take a seat or something? This is kinda killing my knees," Rex said with a slight laugh. His smile grew into his goofy grin as his stopped laughing. The only thing behind his grin was welcoming. "Oh yeah, I should mention, I'm not like most people think a Hermes child should be. I'm not much of a thief, so don't worry about that."

I ran in quickly into the Hermes cabin, making sure no one could see me. They were all to busy to notice me. I ran over to Rex's bed and put the note I had written down on it. I looked over the word, Meet at the stables as soon as you can, we need to talk. -Emma. I quickly hurried back to my own cabin.

Ash, unclaimed "Sure," Ash says with a laugh. She saw another girl run into the room, but something on a bed and run out of the room. The Hermes Cabin sure is popular.

Rex got up to sit on Ash's bed, then noticed her look behind him, so he turned to follow her gaze. That's when he noticed the note Emma left for him on his bed. Rex turned back to Ash and said, "Sorry, but it seems like I'm needed for something else. We'll continue this some other time, promise." Rex allowed a huge grin to cross his face as he turned away from Ash. As he turned away, he grabbed Brenn's bag and tossed it under his own bed and grabbed the note right away when he reached his bed. Rex read it and a perplexed look appeared on his face. "Well, this is weird..." Tucking the note in his back pocket, Rex left the cabin and walked to the stables to meet up with Emma.

Ash, unclaimed Ash looked at Rex's departing figure with disappointment; she was really starting to like him. Aw well, he said he'll talk to her later. She checked her stuff, just to make sure he kept his word. Nothing was missing, well at least that she noticed. Leaning back onto her bed, she realized that she was bored now that Rex was gone. What to do now? she asked herself. She remembered the archery range. Well, it could be fun. She locked her bags, knowing it would do no good, and got up and left for the archery range.

I had a huge project due and I left it till last minute sweatdrop I've been itching to go on again LOL} Prim shuffled back to the Hermes cabin. "UGH," she thought to herself, she was beginning to dislike this cabin. Not the people themselves, but how crowded it was there. She poked her head in and approached to the undetermined side of the cabin. As she flopped on her bed, she took out her iPod in her hoodie pocket and started looking for her earphones. Huh, she must've left them somewhere. "Has anyone seen a pair of purple headphones?" she half asked, half demanded to no one in particular. She loved music. Since most of the people just stared at her, Prim just decided to flop back down again to her bed. She looked to the side and saw a girl that was heading outside somewhere. She made a note in her head to talk to her or ask for her name, she needed to make more friends.
When Prim looked to the other side, she noticed something purple half under her bed. "Nevermind," she told her cabin and picked up her earphones. Ew, there was dust all over it. Prim blew on her earphones and made sure there wasn't any dust left. "Good as new," she thought, as she scrolled through the music. She usually put her songs through shuffle, but skipped through each song to look for one thing in particular. She thought it was kind of weird how she did that, but Prim got obsessed with new songs easily then listened to them over again until she got tired of it. She closed her eyes for a few seconds and fell asleep. "That's us," he said. "Those five pinecones right there."
"Which one is me?" I asked.
"The little deformed one," Zoe suggested.

Abdul finished rubbing his eyes and smiled as he wiped the fresh tears off of his cheeks. "I'm ok now" Abdul said with his fresh middle-eastern accent. His eyes wandered off to look at all the new faces that had been so nice to greet him. "would anyone like to show me around ze' campus"

Brenn slowed her pace down as she reached the door. Walking inside, she looked around for Rex, but didn't see him anywhere in the cabin. Oh dammit, she thought. He had my bag... she rolled her eyes. Jeez, I appreciate you going through the trouble of keeping it away from people, but I'd like to be able to find it.
Frowning, she walked over and began looking for her bag around the room. Feeling the prickling sensation behind her eyes return, she slumped down to the floor against the wall, her arm covering her eyes as she leaned back. Now I've lost everything else too, she sighed. Blinking a few times, she stayed against the wall. That rest by the lake didn't do her any good, but she had to keep an eye out for her brother in case he returned. This day can't get any worse...
((I just thought of this but...When does one know if it's night or day 'round here?!))

Ash, unclaimed Ash walked into the Hermes Cabin, feeling less nervous then she did before. She yawns and walks to her bed. Collapsing onto the covers of her bed, she fell asleep in her clothes.
