Earendil smiled warmly, feeling better at her words.

"Thanks," he murmured, leaning back against the tree and closing his eyes. He felt much better now ... more peaceful with himself, and with her. Yes, he could wait. There was no sense in rushing anything.

The rest of the afternoon passed peacefully, and when the sun began to lower in the sky and the temperature began to drop, the three of them returned to the ranch house for some dinner, and to pack the food that Haradhel had prepared for them. Then it was time for bed, and a good night's sleep.

When morning came, Earendil was wide awake, and already had his bags down by the door when the others came down for breakfast.

Earendil chuckled softly at Lin. "You know how much she loves flying," he grinned at her as she came down the stairs. "She's always chattering away when we fly. It's a bit further than Tor Karad, but she did fine on that flight."

Haldia was right behind Lin, coming down the stairs. "I would offer to go faster and make it a shorter trip," she spoke up, "but I do not believe that it would be good for any of us."

"Well, I'm sure we can take breaks, right?" Earendil turned to Haldia, who smiled and nodded.

"Of course we can," Haldia murmured. "It is not as if we are in a particular rush. We can take all of the time that we need to get there. If you feel that Miyuki needs a break from flying, you just let me know, all right?"

Earendil grinned and turned back to Lin. "See? And if you need a break from holding her, I can take her, no problem."

Earendil grinned at Lin and Haldia. "Come on, we should grab some breakfast before we go," he suggested. "Haradhel's already preparing something for us."

Just as he turned towards the dining room, Leyenda and Kelirahc came down the stairs, carrying Amalirahc. The child was still asleep, his head on Leyenda's shoulder, but Leyenda and Kelirahc looked as if they were quite awake.

"He is," Leyenda giggled as they joined the others. "But he's been staying up quite late lately. Still, he'll be able to catch up on sleep on the trip.

Kelirahc smiled and put one hand on his son's head, but the boy didn't even flinch. "He is a quick learner," he murmured. "Already he tells us all about his day when he goes to bed."

In baby speak of course, but they were able to understand most of what he was trying to say.

The entire group moved with her to the dining room and took a seat around one of the tables. Within moments, Haradhel brought in their breakfast, and soon the meal was underway. They were soon joined by Elrohir, Arahad, and Ahren, and together they passed a pleasant meal.

Once it was finished, the travelers got their bags, bid everyone farewell, and headed outside.

Aerin and Caranthir were already there and waiting with Rhea and Aurin and Skyel.

"Morning!" Rhea called brightly to the others as they came outside. "All ready to go?"

Haldia giggled. "It seems she is eager to leave," she grinned. "We should get started then."

She summoned her roc, and Kelirahc summoned his dragon (which startled Aerin for a moment), and then they all began to mount up. Aerin and Caranthir were going to be flying with Aurin and Rhea, and since they were really the only two who knew the way to the Eastland, it was decided that they would lead.

And off they went.
