(Smokepaw paused after telling his story, feeling both she-cats pressing against his soft pelt. He felt small, and slightly flustered, but enjoyed the feeling of it too much to care.)
See, mouse-brained Seigekit! She-cats snuggle you, you get to go to gatherings, and get to be an apprentice when you don't fight and keep your fur clean! Bee-brained kits are too ignorant to pay mind, and their pelts get all dirty.
(Smokepaw smiled slightly, wanting to experiment with she-cat's emotions a bit.)
"Wow, I never knew that people were capable of liking me..."
(Smokepaw said, trying to look timid, resulting in his blue eyes looking slightly bigger and cuter.)
"Nobody else really seems to..."

It wasn't that he stank, right? He just groomed himself before he left for the gathering, so hopefully it wasn't him. Just to make sure, he took a sniff at himself - no, definitely not him. Maybe it was Spottedpaw? Just in case, he shifted away from Spottedpaw slightly, looking suspicious. Just then, the leaders each stepped forwards and gave the clan's news. Foxes, snakes and badger-like things? Sounded exciting to him. He turned around to speak to Smokepaw, only to see Dawnpaw and Cherrypaw crowding around and pressing against him.]
[His face changed from being bright and excited to crestfallen - why was Smokekit so popular with all the apprentices? As for his "sob story" about the eagles...well he had a brother who died due to the madness! He didn't even remember anything about Redkit! If it's tragic backstory the she-cat apprentices were looking for, he had plenty to tell!]

(Smokepaw glanced to Lustrepaw, tipping his head a bit to one side.)
"You're awfully quiet...I didn't do anything wrong, did I?"
(The young apprentice questioned. He glanced to Spottedpaw and fell silent, looking to his paws. He felt the warmth of the two she-cats starting to get to him, so he let himself sink into daydream.)
(Smokepaw was baffled by what was occurring in his daydream. He found himself huffing and puffing in the middle of Breezeclan's camp. He looked around, feeling bigger than ever before. He looked to his paw- the WHITE of a dove's wing, and petite. A she-cat's? Blood, hot and sticky, coated his pelt. Smokepaw looked around. Smaller versions of Dicefoot and Spadestripe stood, looking ready to fight, though they bled horribly. Smokepaw was on Galestar's den's branch, dangling. He fell, panicked, feeling what was a silver-eyed beautiful tabby catch him. The words of her were muffled, and everything went quick as he tried to defend the body he was in. Finally, he saw the tabby lunge at him, and something sharp shoved through his throat. Smokepaw fell to the ground, looking off at the one thing that made him shiver- the daughters, Dicekit and Spadekit.)
(Smokepaw jolted from his daydream after the pain of 'dying'.)
Dove.
(Smokepaw felt his curiousity rising steadily with the word, and name he obtained into his memory. The only words he truly could make out as he faced death as the white she-cat.)
Doveflight...What was that? The pain you faced?
(The question remained unanswered in the tom's conscience, and he attempted to shake the thought away.)

Anyhow, the she-cat Dragonfire sure looked like she could use her claws and fangs well. He silenced when Lavenderstar spoke about the foxes, and his lips pulled back into a silent snarl as the memory of the fight arose in his mind, but when the other leaders spoke of the beasts attacking their clans, his snarl died down. So it wasn't only Nightclan who was attacked...what did this mean? A cold shiver ran down his spine, and he struggled to keep his hackles down. If more of those stinking foxes came to attack Nightclan again...he'd FLAY them! And this time, he would be prepared!]
"If they try their sneaky attacks again...they won't find it easy!"

CHERRYPAW [Cherrypaw shot Smokepaw a smile, and continued to snuggle up against him. She felt warmer than before, the breeze had stopped.]"I like non-Seaclan cats.. Their so much nicer.."[She glanced over at Lustrepaw, noticing he looked angry. Did she do something wrong? Cherrypaw quickly separated herself from Smokepaw, and poked Lustrepaw.]"What, you cold, too?"[She pressed her should up against Lustrepaw's, hoping to make him feel a bit better. She hated it when others felt bad..]

He turned around to answer Cherrypaw's question, but before he could say anything, she was already pressing her pelt against hers. Not really used to such close contact with another she-cat, he shifted away from her slightly, fixing his piercing blue gaze at his paws.]
"N-No, I'm not cold..."
[His ears wiggled, feeling a little embarrassed about how he just acted. Very cautiously, he shifted back to Cherrypaw so that their pelts were touching, but not pressing against each other.]
"Your pelt is really smooth...it feels nice."

[I watched quietly as the leaders spoke of the happenings in their Clans. Each seemed to be having problems with animals attacking. Strange. As we all waited for Galestar to speak, my green eyes wandered, spotting Songpaw looking quite at home with the other apprentices. I felt warm with pride, seeing her come out of her shell and make new friends. Speaking of friends, I wondered if Lightingstrike was here, but a quick glance around the clearing gave me my answer. There was no sign of the tom I adored. Sighing, I stood up, stretching my limbs elegantly. Twitching my ears, I overheard Ravenwing get threatened by Lavenderstar and Silverstar. Giggling softly, I padded over to the SeaClan tom, sitting down beside him, knowing just how beautiful I looked in the moonlight, green eyes shining]
"Oh Ravenwing, when will you ever learn? That's quite the hit from Lavenderstar, she didn't hurt a big manly tom like you, did she?" I teased.
[Tilting my head to the side, I looked up at him, batting my eyes. Ravenwing was always fun to be around, he never made you feel unwanted if you were a she-cat. Of course I loved Lightningstrike, and would always remain loyal to him, but there was no harm in some flirting, was there? Besides, I knew when to draw the line. Oh calm down, Willowheart. It's no big deal.

[I shifted slightly, to get a better view of all the leaders. I wondered when this would be over, as it was getting cold. I hated the cold. Was I missing out on something, sitting over here all by myself? Probably not. But still, a part of me yearned for one of them to look over and invite me to come and sit with the rest of them, but that part was soon squished by the rest of my independance. Besides, I still had the Voice, right?

Cherrypaw quickly scooted closer to him, and he shifted over slightly to make more space for her, wiggling his ears in slight embarrassment about sitting so close to someone else.]
"Hi Songpaw! You're the first Nightclan apprentice we've seen. I thought there'd be more Nightclan apprentices...Breezeclan as well. Are you the only apprentice Smokepaw?"
[He asked as he craned his head upwards to gaze at all the cats in the clearing. There really didn't seem to be any other apprentices, apart from a small she-cat who was sitting by herself. She looked so lonely, so why didn't she come over? He pricked up his ears and tail as he shuffled backwards from the group of apprentices, trotting towards Birdpaw.]
"Hi, do you want to come over and sit with us since it's so cold? There's plenty of room! I'm Lustrepaw from Stormclan by the way, what's your name?"
[He winced in his mind as he realised that he had started his rapid fire of questions again, and made himself shut up to let the she-cat answer.]

[Reedwhisker's pelt was splattered and entangled with slick, brown, shiny, leaves and he seemed more than happy about this new style. This was a day to show off after all. Perfect for parties.]
[ His smile slowly faded and began to open into a shocked 'O'. Foxes? Eagles? What was this nonsense? Surely he would have noticed if something... The 'O' transitioned again, into a brooding look. He had seen a couple new scars on his clan mates. Maybe he just was too ignorant. Flicking his ears a bit nervously, Reedwhisker looked around at the groups around him. Might as well get with the groove. Picking himself onto his paws, and his pelt glinting in the moonlight, Reedwhisker trotted toward a couple cats that looked friendly enough. (Lightsound, Starkcloud, Oaktail... That group)]
"Hai." [He chirped to them, settling himself onto his haunches.]
