Aeden grew a blank look as he plucked his arm, then it dangled loosely. "Yep, I'd say that about does it." He used his working hand to accurately stab four areas of his arm with his fingers. He slowly shook the numbed arm as he got feeling into it. "Next up is Sansokyoukyuu(Oxygen Supply). Just as useful as the numbing trick. Oxygen's all around us, in the air we breath, in the water, everywhere. Sometimes the patient can't breathe, sometimes we ourselves can't breathe due to an injury or environmental hazards. To combat these, we can use chakra to gather pure oxygen into our hand or hands." He cupped his hands, then moved the hands close enough for Sora to be able to inhale it. She would definitely be able to tell a difference.

Aeden crossed his arms and analyzed Sora as she did what she had to do. She was honestly impressing him, and that wasn't easy, not by a long shot. "Right, now, there's one more I can show you before we start needing actual patients: Keksuki Gyouko (Blood Coagulation). Self-explanitory. It clots blood. Very useful for stopping blood that just won't stop pouring out of a wound."

He whipped out his kunai again and made a small gash on his palm. After waving his hand over the wound, with the help of an aura of chakra, the blood began to bubble and solidify. The wound was still obvious, but the bleeding stopped almost immediately. "Really helps when Minor Healing Hands will act a little too slow to save a person's life. Now... you're turn." Instead of letting her cut herself again... he had an idea he always had wanted to try. He cut himself again, but this time the blade went straight to his wrist. As soon as he'd cut himself, he dropped the kunai and held his forearm as blood began to pump vigorously out of his wrist. "All up to you... kid... Arterial bleeding, very lethal if not treated, and it's going to take more than just clotting the blood to fix it. I'd say you have about a minute... tops... Good luck." Then he fell on his rear. He was starting to go under already.

Aeden's eyes slowly opened. "Remember this moment, the fear you felt. All medics have to go through this at one point or another. We're the guardians of life and death for the people of this village, and others if we choose to. Know that sometimes you will be the difference between that life and death, and know sometimes, you're going to screw up. Know that sometimes, the job will be way to much to handle, and that even running full steam at one hundred percent of your ability, you could fail. Being able to experience this particular test I make everyone go through, to have yourself have a taste of that feeling, but never let the fear take control... that's what makes you better than anyone else I'll trained."

He got up as it nothing was wrong, and then finally removed his hand from his arm. "It's amazing how chakra can make a wound appear worse than it really is." He grinned softly. "Ya did good, kid. Got to admit that. She really did pick a star player. Your form could use a little bit of work, but overall the performance was an A minus minimum."

He knew those looks: a hollow grin, and the look of loss. Aeden grunted, took off his gauntlet, then used his index fingers to poke the sides of her mouth and force her mouth to form a smile. "Bad vibes are a no-no around Aeden, got it? Messes with the groove I got going. Bad things happen to everyone, but the most important thing to do is to accept it and move on. Extra bagage slows you down, makes you weaker. You're a Suna shinobi, apart of the most kickass group in the world. Be happy, be proud. Besides, you got me. No one messes with Suna or her people. Not when I can still breathe. Got it?"

He stood up straight, patted her shoulder, then pointed away. "Come on, I'm starving. My treat."
