DA: by authority figure, I assume you mean Freya's old man? He's with a fairly motley looking crew, really. A wookie, an old astromech, and Freya, whose dressed more or less like ... well, you wouldn't actually look at her and think an aristocrat-type. ^_^;; Yes, she does have that wacky "archer" do, coupled with an outfit akin to Luke circa ESB.

And yes, Rusty *does* live up to his name ... XD
Basically, picture a darker version of R5-D4. Grey/primer on the white parts, and rusty/maroon on the red. However, his "face" is more like R2-D2's, what with nearly a century and a half of mods. ^_^;;

Oh, it's fine. Sets up the character, for when we interact with him. That's always better than just rushing to join the action with a half-assed character.

I think my character is gonna be a lot like Cale's in LoP, I have a lotta NPC's at my disposal.

Nope.
His only decendant is Cade Skywalker who turned hsi back on the Jedi and became a pirate.
But we're kinda pretending he doesn't really exist, although you can play him if you want. We're only counting him out because no one is him lol.
