The number eight is associated with political skills, working for a cause, achieving recognition, commanding, deciding, and executive characteristics. These are all very strong traits. On a slightly more negative side, the number eight can be a workaholic, inhumane, impatient, stressed, and materialistic.
There are no negatives as we are impatient in squad 8 because we want to learn. We become workaholics for that desire to be better and it may stress us but we push forth. We are inhumane because we are shinigami duh and materialistic of course, who doesn't love their sword.
If this didn't convince you then I suggest you go seek out squad 10 and Kei spinach pie. Squad 5 likes to blow stuff up including their membership. Mirouni I hope you remember the last time you attempted to invent a new Kidou. Our lawyers are still issuing payments on the malpractice suits. As for squad 9 well they are family, except for Zaine I think he was adopted.

Whatchoo mean "Attempt" fool? I DID invent a new kidou TECHNIQUE. Other than that I have 'attempted' nothing. And we don't normally blow up new members. We DO teach them to blow things up though. twisted
