Yeah, it has been rather quiet in here! I'm just trying to prepare my house for selling, chase around a toddler, and work on some art commissions, not to mention keep on superquesting at Mene, so I've not been as chatty other places.

*sigh*
We put our other kitty to sleep yesterday. We never did get the kittens. We were afraid our cat would show them all his new, horrible habits. He was pooping anywhere but the litterbox and peeing too, so he was confined to the basement and he went all over it. We think it was attitude... cause if hubby was down there with him, he would use the box. Probably in protest of his missing friend that we had to have put to sleep in March. So now we have no kitties, and still a bit of poo smell in the basement. (poor hubby is down there cleaning now) But he collapsed yesterday and would not walk. We didn't see that coming. For the most part he seemed healthy, though he was 16 years old and seemed a little hard of hearing and a little less coordinated.
It is strange. I still hear him meowing.

Ack!
Lumpy is already showing a tooth, and it is not a front tooth, or else I would be posting a pic! He is now a saliva factory, but still pretty happy, though daddy came down with strep throat last Friday, and big sis has a sore throat now, too (she's taking meds, though we won't know if she has it til tomorrow when the results come back)

That's weird how different strep tests take longer than others. Jade and I were tested the same day (was this in March?) by different doctors, and mine took a few days, while hers took a couple minutes and came back positive! Mine was actually negative. I had haemophilus influenzae B (hib). Strep is no fun! Hopefully the baby doesn't get it!
That's odd he got a tooth already, but it's not a front tooth! I don't expect Amber will have one before a year. Jade's first didn't poke through until 14 months. (But Jade never bit me, and Amber's always biting by accident! She'll get lazy and start to fall asleep and then squeeze her jaws together tight!)
