Mist had fallen... it was an irrevocable fact. A few heartless still swarmed over the rubble. Akuma leaped over them in search of something... he found them. They had made their last stand at the MizuKage tower. The Mist 7 swordsmen had fallen... "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry...." Akuma sobbed falling to his knees before the bodies of those who had been his idols after Kama. The fire in his eyes began to burn again. "I shall make them pay, I don't care how many I have to fight they'll pay for this!" Akuma gathered the bodies of the 7 swordsmen lining them up and preparing them for burial. "I don't know the proper rituals for this, so I can only make you more comfortable now, but know this I will carry your swords with me and I hope... that you'll stay with me..." Akuma took the various sheaths off the bodies of the 7 swordsmen and collected their blades. At first they were extremely heavy, but they quickly became lighter as he re adjusted. He at one time carried a set of weapons of a similar weight. he still had the map in hand. "Where I'm going I won't need this...." snapping his fingers a spark leaped onto the paper incinerating it in seconds. "You'll pay you bastards! You'll pay!!!!!!! Nimbus Cloud!" Akuma formed a cloud under him and made his way to the docks.

Komen entered the village and looked around. He let his alliance robes and basicly his flag roll free. He saw that this village had seen better days. "Hmmm..." He said as he wanted to see what was available for this village. He first wanted to announce his presense here and started to summon his shadow clones. He made them go toward some key looking buildings. "Exploding shadow clones." He said as he released the technique and blew some big holes in buildings. "Komen smirked as he jumped up. "Show me what you have Hidden Mist. I will take this village in the name of the Alliance." He said as he wanted to get the power players of this place to get it's respect. komen looked as a few Hidden Mist Shinobi's were chasing him with huge head chopping swords. "Hmmm....interesting weapons of choice." He said as he turned his Byakugan on, "Byakugan." He said as his eyes veined.

Mitsuko shielded her eyes from the sun, glinting off of the curtain of mist still presiding over what used to be a great shinobi village. For an indeterminate period of time she had been tilling the stubborn soil and trying to live a modest life. It was easier due to her skill in ninjutsu, but she had realized at some point that nothing she did really was of any use. And all she needed was to take care of herself and stay out of way.
Mitsuko opened the door and stepped outside, taking care not to break the door down again. There was an uneasy truce between herself and nature, for nature had refused her its produce but had kept her skin smooth, her hair shiny, and her eyes moist as always. The mizukage she was, and she preferred to refer to herself as that, though when others chose to call her that she would get a tingle of dread and apprehension that another disaster would occur.
She had left mist a weaker but more peaceful place than she found it, in the eyes of her friends and of the people. To her it was important, to others it's foolishness...Mitsuko closed her eyes and let out a sigh...

Komen stopped his attack when he saw the flag of the alliance on the Mizukage's home. "Hmm?" He said as he ran straight toward the Mizukages home wndering why this village was holding an unknown groups flag. He was still being chased by a group of mist shiinobi. "Flying Nymbus." Komen said as he jumped forth atop the cloud and flew straight there. He stopped a bit next to a female shinobi that bore the crest of the village. "Yo." He said as the mist shinobi started to surround the Mizukages house.

Komenusai Komen stopped his attack when he saw the flag of the alliance on the Mizukage's home. "Hmm?" He said as he ran straight toward the Mizukages home wndering why this village was holding an unknown groups flag. He was still being chased by a group of mist shiinobi. "Flying Nymbus." Komen said as he jumped forth atop the cloud and flew straight there. He stopped a bit next to a female shinobi that bore the crest of the village. "Yo." He said as the mist shinobi started to surround the Mizukages house.
"and you are..." answered Mitsuko with an eyebrow raised. Then she stopped upon noticing that he was under attack. "Have you come here to seek shelter or something?" Mitsuko noticed that he wasn't exactly scared as much as just plain confused. A number of local riff-raffs then landed around her humble home brandishing their kitchen knives...
"Oh wait!!! Hold it! Watch the flowers people..." The unsightly bunch was quite shocked upon hearing of this simple request and paused for a moment.

Aozame landed atop the Mizukage building still wearing his Hunter nin mask. He spotted the Mizukage standing next to someone with blank eyes. A Hyuuga no doubt. Aozame flickered in front of his fellow clan member in a respectful bow. He said "Mizukage-Sama. Aozame Hoshigaki, Hunter Nin: Deep Sea Division reporting for duty. We have long awaited your return. It has been far too long." By this point he stood up still wearing his mask. He wished to refer to her as more of a cousin but he didn't feel it would be very appropriate at the moment. Aozame's gills twitched behind the hunter mask waiting for Mitsuko's acknowledgment.

“curses..." thought Mitsuko as she nodded to her subordinate. She had wished that laying low and planting vegetables would just make people forget, but it looked like fate had kicked in her door in a most awkward time. No doubt the alliance wanted her to answer for what she had done in this time, for Mitsuko noticed the regalia of the organization on the hyuuga.
Mitsuko's gills flared in sudden apprehension and the mist itself started thickening, the very particles in the air affected by her mood, for she WAS a jinchuriki...Ignoring the Hyuuga for a moment, Mitsuko shifted into business gear and set her jaw into a firm line. Ｔｈｅｒｅ ｗａｓ ｎｏ ｗａｙ ｔｈｅ ｈｕｎｔｅｒ－ｎｉｎ ｊｕｓｔ ｓｔｏｐｐｅｄ ｂｙ ｆｏｒ ａ ｃｈａｔ．
"Aozame-san, it is good to see that you have survived...though I ｇａｔｈｅｒ ｔｈａｔ ｔｈｉｓ ｉｓ ｎｏｔ ａ ｓｏｃｉａｌ ｖｉｓｉｔ． Ａｍ Ｉ ｎｅｅｄｅｄ ｔｏ ｅｓｔａｂｌｉｓｈ ｏｒｄｅｒ ｗｉｔｈｉｎ ｔｈｅ ｖｉｌｌａｇｅ， ｏｒ ｉｓ ｔｈｅｒｅ ａ ｍａｔｔｅｒ ｏｆ ｄｉｐｌｏｍａｃｙ ｉｎ ｗｈｉｃｈ Ｉ ｍｕｓｔ ｈａｎｄｌｅ？＂

Aozame nodded as he realized Mitsuko already knew he had business to attend to with her. "While you were away, the tyrant Shiro Howard of the Village Hidden in the Alchemy began conquering villages. In our weakened state, I knew we couldn't resist an invasion. I negotiated with the Furher to submit to a truce between our two villages as to preserve our village and disassociate ourselves from our violent past. In doing so, Shiro-san appointed me a high rank official in his army. Just as he was about to conquer Fire Country, Shiro betrayed and tried to assassinate me. I fought back and with the help of many other shinobi, the tyrant was taken down. With all of his high rank officials dead, I was the only one left leaving the Alchemy Nation's affairs in my hands. Which is why I have come to you. I leave the decision in your hands. Either take control of Alchemy Nation and continue what it started, or the more favorable choice: Disband all of Alchemy nation and let the Hidden Villages return to its affairs. I'm sure which ever decision you make will be the correct one." Aozame took off his Hunter Mask tilting it on the side of his head revealing his dark blue almost black hair and pale blue skin.

Inconceivable...thought Mitsuko as she listened intently to the news. She wasn't even gone for that long. Of course her humble kirigakure heart sought a new and united mist, yet what would be the reaction of the alliance? They had never meddled directly in the affairs of Hidden mist, but times change.
Mitsuko gazed briefly at Aozame, noticing that he was a pure Hoshigaki unlike her. The only thing to distinguish Mitsuko from is her gills and the bad reaction she has to blood. Though obviously this did not concern him and Mitsuko got back to the original question.
"I do believe, and have tried to acheive, an independant and strong kirigakure..." Mitsuko herself was surprised at her answer but did not waver a bit. However, she knew that the powerful forces of the alliance would have to be appeased, and she knew that her excellent skills at compromising will come in handy.

Aozame nodded at the Mizukage's decision. He really had no more business to attend to with her at the moment. Aozame was simply happy to be able to cross one of the many things out on his to-do list. Now all that was left was to update his Bingo book and do a sweep across the many nations to scout out any more missing nin. Aozame humbly said "I shall inform the Village council. If you'll excuse me" With that he flickered into the mist to attend to his other duties. Just as he left he faintly whispered "Its good to have you back cousin" He wasn't sure if she had heard him but he felt fulfilled none the less.

Komen was going to ask why this village that once flew the great Alliance flag had started to fly this Alchemy flag. "Ahhh so that is the reason." Komen said as he jumped from his nymbus cloud and onto the flooring next to Mitsuko. Komen stretched a bit. "Oh and my apologies I don't think we have met in a long time. My name is Komen." He said with a slight bow. His alliance robes were flowing against the ground as he began his rise. "Last group of the Alliance, purpose is the defense of the alliance cities and retaking those that have fallen under another flag."

Mitsuko watched Aozame disperse and scratched her head...it seemed that she had her work cut out for her. With that Mitsuko turned her attention to the Hyuuga, or Komen, more precisely.
"well met, komen." said Mitsuko, fingering the blue pendant around her neck. "I'm glad that the alliance is doing well to regain its territory...though I completely forgot the goals that we were suposed to strive for." Mitsuko wasn't kidding, she tried but couldn't actually retain any information in her memory about such a matter, though such a matter didn't matter to her that much. rolleyes
"But I'm sure that there is something required of me." said Mitsuko as she looked komen straight in his pupiless eyes. "and what would that be?" she finished. Her current lifestyle had once again been disrupted, and there was no turning back. She had longed to tell the world that she was an artist, not a fighter, and live in peace. This obviously would not exist as an option.

"Well at the moment, the time for a gathering has come. The Alliance is now gathering intel of the land to determine the next step. I cannot tell you more than that. But I'm certain you remember the location of the base Ms. Mizukage." He said with another curteous bow since he was addressing a kage of a village. He was always taught to show respect to those that strived enough to gain the respect and title of a Kage. He saw that she was looking him straight in his eyes and knew that she was ready for what was to come. Though he could not really say that for certain but the feeling he got when she stared him straight in the eyes told him this self told truth. "I also require that you change these flags to show that the Alliance has control of this village once again." He asked her as he didn't want to take things to a more violent conclusion if he didn't have to. Luckily for him that the Kage of the Hidden Mist village was one of the Alliance members. He stood before her waiting for a response.

Mitsuko nodded and signalled to the mist shinobi still standing around with sheathed swords. "You stooges! Go change the flags to the alliance emblem, and go have lunch afterwards..." To make her point clear she flared her gills menacingly and made the very mist quiver. The tough guys retreated quietly and Mitsuko tried not to smile. She really did love all of them.
"well, komen. It looks like I will have to make an entrance at the alliance base." said Mitsuko, suddenly reminded of an old friend that often said such a thing. "and that I shall do..." And with that Mitsuko went inside her shack to change clothes, hoping that the damn door doesn't fall off its hinge again.
