Scouter Kai Yes, I remember the project, and while Marines not on duty generally have to turn their main weapons into the armory, they generally carry a sidearm at all times, just in case. I was just wondering for various GM-y reasons >.> Edit: Cibo paranoia is intensely entertaining, and I love feeding it. The best part is, I'll never tell you whether she's right or not. twisted Glad I'm making someone happy. xd

Sweet. Gotta ask though, I'm getting the impression they look like Odo from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Am I right, or off the mark?

It really is a great read, Gwath's got talent.
Also, don't you hate how what looks like a paragrah when you're writing always turns into like two lines when you post? I know I do.

Newb, your sorta right think slightly broader and even flatter noses and broader torsos of course. I have some pictures of just heads that I did earlier today that I'll scan in. Yeah, Kai it is a much more impressive document on word. Edit: Oh, and thanks for the complement, but it was a lot of work, you can ask Smiles I didn't have time for much of anything else while doing this. I got the pictures up, sorry for the mess of them my scanners not the greatest. Also, Kai would you mind if I developed some kind of seperate motorized-armour for the Altresians, wouldn't be as good as the Terran's power armour. I don't need it with any in-built weapon or electronic systems. Just a strong suit of armour with servos on it to increase power.

Those are some neat drawings. Current Terran armor had servos for the simple reason of taking the weight off, leaving a soldiers muscles free to act as if they were wearing some light clothing instead of a heavy suit of armor. Think More the powersuits from Starship Troopers Chronicles though not quite as fancy, as opposed to actual Powered armor. I believe the Altresians were originally supposed to have Paladin-style armor suits, which would be fine if they had added servos to take off the weight and grant minor strength enhancements. I'm all for you developing one. For my part, I need to develop the Powered armors I had started on a little more.

Alright, I'll probably get on that, possibly along with some weapons, might be awhile though.

No worries, the Altresians don't really factor much into my plans at the moment anyway. Just work at whatever pace is fun and comfortable for you.

Work In progress of a Terran Powered Armor. Yes, it's curbstomping, no, I won't draw what's getting stomped.

Indeed, Gwath has spun out quite a impressive bit of work there. I like how the Siege takes up more space than the rest of the history combined. Gwath likes his battles.
Oh and me and Gwath decided to split up the Altresian world building; I'll be submitting some work on the Psychology and Behavioral pattern of the Altresians. Should be fun.
And yes, it does frustrate me when something looks impressive on word, then puny on gaia.

hahaha not quite. So, it's coming along nicely, but I fail heartily at feet/boots, so that will be a problem.

Looks good. Personally though, I'd like the helmet to have a larger faceplate so you can see their expressions and whatnot! There's a reason why the starship trooper chronicles had their helmets that way; its more photogenic and expressive.
Umm, how tall is a Drathonian in feet?

A bigger faceplate is a bigger target, making a kill easier. You saw how the brainbugs worked. DO NOT WANT. Besides, the faceplate is tinted/one-way glass (not glass though) and contains an HUD.
Also, a Drathonian averages 6-8 feet standing normally, but can be in the 12-16 foot range when standing straight up. They are BIG. Don't F with them hand-to-hand unless you've got armor on, and even then it's practically suicide unless you're armed.

On the topic of helmets, I am personally a fan of the 'mass effect' style
