Steve Jobs may have put his foot in his mouth, especially after such a lackluster release of a great, but not spectacular, laptop yesterday.
Get this, he said that Amazon's Kindle is a good product, but it doesn't matter because people don't read anymore.
I kinda agree with him, but since it's Jobs, people are going to assume he's being pretentious, and that's not going to do a lot for PR.
Poor Steve.
And yet, sales will not drop for either the Kindle or Apple products. Amazon is best at what they do, and Apple is the best at what they do. Kings of industry, they are.

Steve Jobs is the creator (along with Woz - Steve Wozniak) and CEO of Apple, Inc. :3

I thought everyone had at least used something from Apple... well, prepare to be converted! scream

and yes, I love shopping at Amazon. it's such a pain to hear everyone complain about how Amazon doesn't give personal service, and how they're this huge corporation. so.. why don't those people just shop locally then, and stop posting on Amazon's site about it? lol

What are the advantages of Apple?
I agree with you on Amazon -- I've been buying stuff from Amazon since about .. well, I don't remember but it's been years & years & years. I've had exactly 1 problem -- and they resolved it.
On the 22nd of December, at 7pm I was wrapping presents and realized that Amazon had sent the wrong item. I ordered a gameboy advanced and received a plastic truck. I called them right away-- and I had the right item delivered to my door on the 23rd of December.
I have no complaints about Amazon. xd

I was just kidding, but since you asked xD
I suppose it's a matter of preference, but the biggest thing I have to say about Apple computers, besides how sexy their products are (and they are xD ), is that I've always had an Apple computer since there was a such thing as a personal computer, and I think I've only twice had my computer really crash in all that time, and only once was it a real problem (back in 2002 or something like that - logic board issue, which they fixed for free). Most long-time users of Apple machines will say the same thing. I've never had to panic every time a new virus or Trojan horse or worm comes out, and I don't worry about downloading viruses by accident. Everything just works, and it's practically seamless. :3
I say practically because even though everything does work seamlessly, but I'm addicted to third-party apps and Firefox, and every now and then those things might throw a hiccup at me - now and then meaning maybe twice a year. Maybe.
That's my favorite thing about Apple computers and the Mac OS.
As for Amazon, they live up to their reputation as a great company providing access to great products. And they really do accomplish that without crapping on the little guy. *w*

I love Amazon - I hardly shop anywhere else. They always resolve the problems I've had with the independent sellers that use them.

-hugs Amazon- >w< I love it. I've never had a problem actually. o 3o I don't shop like all the time, but so far no problems.
As for Apple, I hated them at first due to the school ones being shoddy, but I actually want one. PCs let me down. emo Plus I'm in love with iTunes... and am working on getting an iPod soon. *w*
