I went around and did some photography in the NIS HTML5 beta this morning...

Can totally walk to Karamja dock, that water is knee deep.

One does not walk into Crandor...
ONE SWIMS THERE!

The Volcano looks pretty sweet. Especially is it were more silhouette like in Wind Waker. Although, the Tz'Haar obsidian outclasses pretty much everything else in the image.

Wizard's Tower looks nice too. The little wind animations are seen from the ground in their place-holder form. Probably don't animate unless you're in the area where you were expected to see them. I've noticed that with a few other things while in Draynor Manor. The Windmill isn't animated when you're further away. I also saw the border guards to the East of the manor facings north and south instead of east and west (facing each other).
There are a few things they would need to modify in the game, more so once HTML5 is more widely used. Once it becomes more of the standard for RS players, it would be nice to be able to load up NPC/players who are much further away. This would be cool to see in the Wilderness.
Jagex would also need to model structures differently to accompany the larger field of view. The Wizard's Tower, obviously restructured with this in mind, there are other places that are height restricted/cut short to provide as much visibility to the player on a smaller screen. City walls look very puny with HTML5, lol.
The distance between things is also an issue. I read a comment by a Jmod stating that they could increase the distance, pretty much expanding the world... But, that would change the gameplay a lot too. At the very least, the islands not being so close to the mainland should be remedied. They were only so close to efficiently use space, while knowing the player couldn't view them in the old OLD interface. Since then, with resizable, I could see a bit of Rimmington from Karamja docks. And now with HTML5, I could see Crandor from Rimmington. Crandor loses its nature of the unknown with this.
confused Now, some copy/paste post I made on the RSOF (post about Dungeoneering):
-Warping into the floor on Key doors. (I believe the warping is actually intended as this is probably how they pass our players through to other rooms. The fact that it is seen would be the bug...)
-After doing the sliding ice puzzle, the sliding audio clip would play for ANY action I would perform afterward. Walking, emotes... Under attack and not retaliating... This continued onto the next floor.
-All rooms but Home is transparent, with minimal details. They also lack the white outline and the red lines indicating doors. The transparency of the interface itself is nice, just not with the rooms to that degree.
-I'm unsure if this is limited to Dungeoneering, but none of the four teleport spells (under the teleport magic abilities) would work. Not while they were in the book, nor on the action bar. The Home Tele on the minimap works, as does its hotkey. But, I couldn't create a gatestone, or tele to either kind of gate at all.
-Clicking on any ability (maybe even spell) while in the ability book would not work. If I move the actual abilities to the action bar, they would work. I'm unsure if this is limited to Daemonheim, didn't get a chance to try outside, game crashed.
-Momentum and Multiway Wilderness abilities don't work in f2p. I get a message that they can only be used on a members server...
-General funkyness with the music. I tried turning off shuffle, so that I may have the Dung battle music trigger when NPCs are present. This seemed to have caused the game to "freestyle" its own track. It had played a song that I didn't recognize, kinda sounded techno-y... Almost NIN-like... Sounded pretty epic. I really don't think its an actual music track on RS, otherwise I'd have it on my playlist. Only other possibility is that it was playing a P2P track that is normally locked for me. It kept displaying the track as Adventure. It was definitely not Adventure... Seriously, that last bit with the music track was giving off some CreepyPasta vibes.
