Satoshi shuddered gently sliding Terrato from her leg who was squeezing too tightly to be comfortable Do I have to go into the details about people that I don't like? Most are from other villages so we fight often but the only one that is worth noting is Akira. She really annoys me because she often tries to kill steal our targets in hope of getting some kind of bounty and making us all look bad. She's a sneaky one"
Felina smiled pulling Oassu into a quick hug "Yeah and you can say you've seen stuff for thousands of years. And these shops, they are pretty big in the community after all that time. Nice to see that even these shops have had the repairs too" she added pointing out a new patch of rooth a different colour to the rest of it

Gil chuckled "Looks like he wants some attention though he shouldn't hurt you like that, I got into a couple of fights with Enkidu when we first got moving together still I can't see how kill stealing would benefit Akira...don't you different villages have different missions? Would be awfully convenient if you were given the same target though I've never really been one for assassinations or bounty hunting" he muttered
Oassu nodded returning the hugs "Yeah though you'll need to keep me happy, gonna be weird thinking Itaka and that will die out before me" he said looking at where she was pointing "Sure it's nice though you'd think they'd get the colour to match" he said.
Jeckhart scratched his chin "Well I'm not sure, the stories I was told involved many wars among the separate demon lords with Wrath initiating violence across the separate domains. It ended with all the original demon lords, except Sloth who sealed himself away for eternity somewhere, dead after their conflicts." he said "Then the remaining demonic populations just sort of worked out their own government" he said following Hebal pleased he remembered so much of his schooling.
Zadina nodded "You are probably right though I think I'll save names for something a bit more special than this sword" he snickered "Thank you very much Miss Cat Demon I hope your leg recovers soon" he added

Hebal nodded knowing her own story was reasonably similar "Yeah I heared about all that only it wasn't all like that in my story. My story basically went along the lines of Wrath manipulating Envy and Pride into fighting over Lust who despised the pair of them and Greed and Gluttony were always stealing eachothers stuff. History like that is so old that all really left of it is myths, legends and folklore. I kinda liked history even if 90% of it was describing the people of this world as inferior to demons. That bit I just ignored."
Amane frowned and shook her head "But thats like your first proper trainign sword so it totally needs a name. That way when your as good as Gil you'll know what first helped you out in getting that awesome" she insisted taking the sword from the demon and handing it over "thanks for the stuff ma'am"
Icero raised her eyebrow "Miss Cat demon you say.... how quaint" she remarked handing the sword over deciding not to correct them that they should have said Mrs. "Enjoy the show, and if you could do me one small favour. When you see the little cat demon that was here perform, give her a good cheer. She's not performed that often and could do with a little confidence boost"

Satoshi sighed stroking Terrato's head and tail once he was coiled up in her lap "Yeah he just doesn't know his own strength. And Akira and her team are from the same village so its not like I can just be rid of her easily. Bounty hunting is basically what I do, assassinations not so much. Been there done that and don't like it. It's not just bounty hunting though, it's basically search, rescue and retrieval but the most common job is going after rogue ninjas trying to disappear"
Felina hesitated giving her ear a scratch "Hmm... well you see theres that and what surprises me is how neither one of them seems bothered about the fact that Seph is going to age much slower than Itaka. Maybe they are just very good at hiding or ignoring how they feel about that" she sighed glancing back at the roof "Well, any roof is better than none at all isn't it"

Gil smiled stroking Satoshi's hair "Well stick with me an you won't have to do a mission here again" he said happily "Though we should get going to your mother's soon it wouldn't do well to be late for dinner" he said getting up.
Oassu nodded "Or maybe they plan on taking all the items from us when we have them!" he laughed "Though maybe it's just a physical thing for them and isn't really serious" he said looking at the roof "They can always just paint it right again" he said
Jeckhart nodded "And sloth thought it all seemed too much effort and used all his power to seal himself away from the world no one ever knows where he is now but they are all certain that despite his power he probably won't do anything" he said nervously "The clan consistantly hopes that is true I doubt anyone really has enough power to stand against a true demon lord" he said "Still ignore that inferior to demons thing, we are the ones who are truly flawed besides they must've seen how special you areto choose you then if they think you are all inferior" he said.
Zadina nodded "We will thank you" he said picking Merric off the counter and walking away from the stall "Well then since it's a special holiday for you why don't you name it" he said pulling it out of it's packaging.

Hebal shrugged skipping around tutting a little at the sight of the ghost train "Maybe not, but with lots of teamwork and stuff we can always use the combined power of everyone to smite all kinds of evil and demon lords and then all sing songs and dance about it for ages. But nah I never listened much to my teachers, how do ya think I ended up here hehe" she added coming to a sudden stop and turning back round. "Hmm... I wanna try the hammer thingy over there"
Amane paused rubbing her ear in thought "Well um ok but let me know if you don't like the name but I think she should be called.... Hydel. No idea why I thought that name up, it just feels like a Hydel to me" she giggled poking the sword. "That kitty demon seemed nice I think, though its a shame the little one went off, I really wanted to pet her" she mumbled.

Satoshi groaned "Aww do we really have to go now. I was getting rather comfortable just sitting down next to you" she complained reluctantly getting up from the couch. "So are you going to sweep me off my feet and take me on a life of adventuring. Or perhaps take me to a fancy castle away from the burdens of this village" she teased scooping Terrato up and around her neck.
Felina shook her head but smiled and made way for someone trying to get past them for the shop "I dunno about Seph but Itaka seems to have gone out of his way a bit just for a bit of physical fun if thats the case. I mean he gave her a gold chocobo and payed for that really expensive operation and now has taken her away on a holiday. But I get the feeling that the item we're using wouldn't have the same effect with those two"

Gil grinned sweeping Satoshi up into his arms cuddling her as he held her horizontally across his arms "Well I could do that easily though we'd have to do occasional jobs to meet the bills" he said adding a kiss to Satoshi "Does your village have many objections to people leaving the village life?" he asked.
Oassu scratched his head "Well I think the gold chocobo was part of a bet or something but yeah I suppose that wing was expensive, still why don't you think the item would work on Itaka?" he asked uncertainly "Is there some hidden condition to it you're not telling me?" he asked
Jeckhart bit his lip uncertain "Well I don't have great upperbody strength in this form I'm afraid so I think I'll give that bit a miss but do you really think you can hit that bell all the way up there?" he asked.
Zadina snickered "Ok Hydel it is the mighty blade" he said swishing the plastic sword around while Merric kwehed alongside them "And maybe they'd let you, I'm not sure how prone to their demonic nature demons are, look at Mr Jeckhart who hardly does bird stuff at all, even when he had his demonic powers he wasn't quite as animal like as that cat demon" he said looking back in case he spotted the little one.

Hebal paused eyeing up the bell for a moment "Hmm.... I dunno but I think I could try and give it a good punch. I've got good arm strength I think from swinging through trees even if my legs are better. Worst case scenario I just get a little prize which is still ok" she smiled skipping over and handing the gil over "I even paid for two goes so you can have a try, you know for fun unless we make it a competition"
Amane nodded smiling at Merric "uhuh demons are funny that way and apparently some demons are just as dumb as the common fiend and cant even speak or anything. It's like they are all different even when the same species though I'm pretty sure those two are close family which is why they are similar and the only reason"

Satoshi gasped taken by surprise "Now this I could get used to if you ever feel like carrying me around and about from time to time. And theres all sorts of paperwork that needs filling out uf you want to leave the village and even after that they keep regular tabs on you making sure your not selling out secrets to people. Apart from that your free to go and nothing will happen if you behave" she explained reaching up to return the kiss.
Felina frowned and shook her head vigorously at Oassu "Oh no I don't think theres anything hidden that I know about it to even tell you about. It's just that out of everyone known to have the item, it's always been that at least one of each couple has been an elf and theres no reported cases of two non-elves being able to use it. Maybe dad knows something that I don't"

Gil chuckled cuddling Satoshi in his arms "I'm sure it would have everyone asking questions" he said as Terrato slid onto him while Enkidu got up sensing they were about to leave "Sure well I don't quite think any of us are ready to quit adventuring yet so the castle can wait" he said letting Satoshi down as he checked his equipment before moving away from the couch.
Oassu shrugged "Well ok if it's an elven artifact would make sense for it to require an elf to make it work still where exactly are you taking me I don't exactly know any of these shops" he frowned moving aside politely as a couple bowed to Felina.
Zadina nodded "Those ones sound scary as I bet they would just attack you on sight though yeah you could argue they are all different species just like in the animal kingdom" he said happily "Still these demons are nice and friendly so lets let them be for now though we should probably see about getting to the tent soon" he said
Jeckhart blushed "Alright though I don't think I'd do very good so you should be fine if you just want two goes" he said glaring at the horned demon who snickered at him as he handed over the big hammer to Hebal "On' swing is all y'get per attempt, get it pas' t'first point for a little prize, better prizes fer higher up" the demon drawled.

Hebal nodded grasping the hammer "Ok I get it and who knows how we'll do, hopefully better than some people why try this though this thing is so heavy it makes me wonder why some people use it in battle" she pondered swinging the hammer around her head before eventually swinging it down at the target "Ta da! Ohhh..... or maybe not" she giggled opening her eyes to see the cause of the loud smashing soundwas from her when she completely missed the target and whacked the stand the bell was mounted on.
Amane turned her head and shrugged her shoulders "well the tent is so big that its not likely that we are ever going to get lost. You can probably see it for miles in those bright colours" she pointed out not thinking they were far away. But those ones might not attack you. Whatcha think if some of them were all friendly like Yenytai?!

Satoshi snickered shaking her head "Sure, we arent ready to quit adventuring yet but castles are very hard to come by unoccupied so would have to capture one or earn a lot of money to buy one or befriend a king enough for them to give us a spare one. We'll need time to get it see" she joked brushing herself off. "you probably already have people asking questions around here so whats one more question if I do leave the village"
Felina smiled politely bowing back "Just to a small chocolate shop I know about. It's really small but most business comes from ordering them to make something for you specially but theres pleanty stuff you can just buy" she explained shuffling through glad they were near somewhere wider. "And theres got to be a reason why it only works with elves, so long as theres nothign nasty like in it like elven blood or whatever I'll be ok though"

Gil nodded "I'm sure I could talk my friend King Mogmo into getting me one with a little effort but enough for now as your ready to go?" he asked kneeling down to play with Enkidu.
Oassu nodded "Well ok though we'd know if it was elven blood from the list, though a little blood isn't too severe I hear the Nu Mou in Delrodo invented an advanced medical system where people donate blood for use in patients and things though who knows I'm sure it wouldn't be so bad" he said pausing to bow as well to the elves "You're popular here of course" he snickered.
The horned demon gasped the cigarette falling from his mouth in dismay "Tch! Blimey lady keep yer eyes open!" he scolded Hebal as he tried to stabilise the board as it shook violently from the force of the swing "Dat's one swing!" the demon grunted as he stamped out his cigarette before watching Hebal carefully.
Jeckhart couldn't help but smile a little "He may have a point Hebal it would be best to keep your eyes open when you swing it wouldn't do for us to upset Alpha by breaking things at this carnival" he said
Zadina giggled "I suppose you are right though I'm not sure that quite counts, fiends are born from this world so I don't know if the same rules apply. I was kind of under the impression the demon world was very harsh and so the primitive ones that can't talk or be civilised just fought but who knows maybe you are right" he said

Hebal blushed for a moment not daring to look around at the demon "Umm sorry but I totally had my eyes open, until I heared the big banging noise just there as that was a bit scary" she mumbled trying not to be mad and to avoid telling him of how bad smoking was for his health "Umm... how about you have a try, couldn't be as bad as I was" she suggested offering the hammer.
Amane shrugged skipping around in a small circle "Never mind how they are, all that matters at the moment is that these ones are all nice and friendly. you can't go wrong when so many people have stuff like candyfloss and balloons and all kinds of awesome stuff. Wonder if demons actually like all that stuff or whether its all just a show purely for guys like us" she pondered.
