But... medieval japanese women were totally subservient without question... heck if a guy walked in on them having a wash they weren't even allowed to hide themselves unless they were told to. But like i said, im gonna quietly turn a blind eye to that ninja

Warior women were trained in Naginata and Kunai (throwing knives) but men were very much in charge. Women could be Ninja or Warriors or Housewives while men could be Samurai or Shoguns, or Ninja or Warriors, or Craftsmen, or Farmers, or Nobles. Ranking went like tis (from top to bottom) Emporer, Noblemen (Shoguns), Samurai Retainers, Ninjas, Warriors, Craftsmen, Farmers. At least i think... i may be a little rust on feudal japanese culture. But women were pretty much completely disrespected by men all of the time, and few said anything about it.
