Gold wasn't *that* hard to get, and it wasn't as big of a deal because donation items (back when they were called such) weren't more than 3k. gonk Fairy wings used to be a status item; I was so ******** proud when I earned mine.

When I first joined Gaia, I was going through the shops and I saw the Fairy Wings, I thought "Wow. I'm never going to get those, they're 40,000g!"

I didn't even know about the donation items back then.
Gold was hard for me to get. I had to post s**t loads. Even then I bairly made anything. I must have been doing something wrong.

What about the random chance? I think the most I've ever made was about 100g but still. And they made it eaiser with the "first of the day" things.

That's true, but it's not really a major source of income. I *did* save up all the tokens I got, and went on a bit of a spree in Cards, one time. That was...profitable.
