I spelled it precident, but the spellcheck highlighted it and only suggested president.
Precedent was just the 'minorly different' one I didn't waste time thinking of.
For Nightcrawler comparisons, Stryphe takes the cake. He bamfs with smoke, and even uses the sound effect *Bamf!* when he does.
